  Hello. Thank you. I tried, but in fact, it did not help. However, after doing a little research on our, I found a solution by following these steps:

  1. reboot Windows XP in Safe Mode
  2. double-click on the Setup program to start the installation process
  3 cancel the installation process after it starts
  4. restart windows in normal mode

  Now, all my applications of MSI with setup.exe work correctly! Quite strange. Just for the record: this problem was not due to a Virus protection program (as all assumed first that many people) and it kept me from running applications (MSI?) of ANY installer from a CD.

  It seems now that HP Support have found the problem so let me give you some information.

  I called the Apple Technical Support on the advice of the staff of the local Apple store but it told me that it is acknowledged as a problem as Apple have already tried to solve the problem and failed he spent on HP.

  I spent 50 odd minutes on phone to the call center of Newcastle (which was fantastic) and now upward and the operation.

  We have downloaded 2 updates of for Mac and printer 5510 (firmware).  In the preferences system (Print & Scan) the file sharing box has been checked (and also ensured that the sharing printers, file sharing and the sharing of scan have been checked).  This has allowed to get up and running with print but then had a problem with scanning.  We then cut to reset (in that order)-router, Mac and printer, then turn it back on in reverse.  Then we have the source of installation of scan in the menu of applications under Hewlett Packard/HP Scan 3.

  Whenever I opened Adobe products (after the recent updates of Mac) they did not open. So I uninstalled them and now that I'm their discount in place, the installation program is unable to initialize.

  As you mentioned that you are not able to install your Adobe CS6 on Mac via disc, as it throws an error 'Setup cannot initialize', I recommend trying to download the product and try again: applications download Adobe Creative Suite 6

  I get this warning message each time I try and you click on an Adobe "install.app". I try to download Adobe Application Manager but can't because I get this. Is there a solution? I rebooted and tried to use Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool and still does not work.

  I went through the steps that have been proposed in other threads. It's on a FRESHLY installed Windows 7 64 bit.

  When I try to use the Adobe downloader, I get error 101. When I received the Direct download files, I was still unable to extract through the installation of Adobe software. When I tried to extract the files using WinRAR, I got an error message stating that they are corrupt files. I tried to extract the files and download files on all three of my drives (SSD, HDD and laptop HARD drive) and get the same messages.

  Well, in case someone happens to have a similar problem... I downloaded on my laptop rather & then copied the files to my external HARD drive. The installation worked without a hitch. It seems that for some reason any the .7z file wouldn't download properly on my PC, no matter what method or the browser I used or drive I DLed to... Obviously a cause for concern on my end, but for now, at least he is finally working.

  I found a solution to my problem!

  I went to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe and moved the OODB folder on my desktop (because remove it would be stupid if it does not solve the problem) so it was more in the adobe directory. Then my Installer worked well!
