  How can I create a jdbc data source in Jdeveloper Version 11.1.1.0.1? In the previous version of Jdeveloper when I create new database connection using the database browser he created xxxx-data - sources.xml in the application directory. I used following code to get the database connection.

  Hi all
  We run Hyperion 8.5 on Oracle Database 10 g. I configured a Service Oracle successfully and tested it, the test was successful. Then I worked on using the data connection wizard in Hyperion to generate a .oce file to connect to this service. But my attempt fails with "error Oracle - 1:' message." Any ideas what causes this problem.

  If you are able to connect from SQLplus on the same desktop, this means client lib Oracle is already installed in the desktop. I think that server is the hostname of the Oracle database server.

  I have a problem with my MacBook Pro 13 inch end 2011 laptop when I press command + R (recovery or something of the island who), restart my laptop. Then I have to wait 4 hours to do before going to disk or something.

  Install or reinstall OS X from scratch

• Cannot sync my new Palm Treo Pro-

  I have a HP Windows XP Media Center that doesn't have Microsoft Word or Outlook to this topic.  It has Outlook Express 6.0 put there by Verizon.  My new Treo Pro do not synchronize and says that Outlook is not on the computer.  I never wanted to use Outlook in any case, I want to use the Palm Desktop which has worked flawlessly until I upgraded to, but my Palm Desktop, who worked with my last phone (Palm - Centro) does more work after I upgraded to 6.2.  Now, he is sitting there on the screen but does not synchronize when I connect the USB to the computer.  I lost all my contacts Centro and had to return on the new Treo Pro.  I can't my contacts, music, etc. on the computer but that is where I want to that they for backup.  P.S. I also upgraded my windows media for v.11 hoping that would help.  Appreciate any help I can get.

  The treo pro is a windows mobile device and will not sync with Palm Desktop requires Microsoft Outlook.

  I changed to Palm Treo 500 for the Palm Treo Pro and tried to use the same 5V USB car charger and USB-power supply 5V without success. The Treo Pro battery does not charge. Now, I have purchased from www.pda-punkt.de a USB-recommended food for the Treo Pro, which does not work anymore. This works very well with my old Treo 500. What is the problem with the Treo Pro, I can't use a standard 5V USB power? Is there a cure?

  Yes. I think it's an option check box under each data source. Something like "Maintain connections..."

  If it is an Oracle database, you connect to so be, you must enable the custom URL and change the url to server connection: port: sid to the server: port / servicename

  Also you can get better Planning_WebApp.log that is located in the directory the plannning managed server logs the log information.

• I can't get a database connection.

  Background: I have already built two sites with databases using DW CS6, PHPMySQL and the same hosting company, so I know that they allow remote connections. (I developed using the remote host, because I have never found a tutorial for how to move all local XAMPP to my host - but well, it's been working well so far.)

  I set up the database using CPanel databases, added the user and the password, no problem. Entered PHP MySQL and adding a table, connected to the back and back, the table is there, as defined.

  In DW, I checked the server tests, tested the connection, and it connected successfully.

  Then I open a page for editing and added a database connection (just as I had done on the two previous sites that work very well). I named the connection, entered the password to the user, and tried to SELECT a database. No luck. HTTP 404 error. Manually, I added the database (the only one) and clicking test. Again not luck. FPPH 404 error.

  I double checked the testing server, double checked the DB information, and nothing seems to work.

  No idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks a lot if you can help.

  You can check with your host service.  Note you work by CPanel and so did I have some time back.  Had a similar problem, all worked locally but not on the online site.

  The connection strings MqSQL need to have the cPanel login ID by preceding the name of the database and the username

  (eg., I worked a tutorial (check_mag); DW has developed connection container file:

  $hostname_check_mag = "localhost";

  $database_check_mag = "php_test";

  $username_check_mag = "phptestuser".

  $password_check_mag = "Sue";

  $check_mag = mysql_pconnnect ($hostname_check_mag, $database_check_name, $username_check_mag, $password_check_mag) or trigger_error (mysql_error (), E_USER_ERROR);

  I was informed by the host support that $database_check_mag = "cpanelid_php_test" (for example: "zyxwvu_php_test") [where zyxwvu is formatted in the same way my cpanel id AND the variable $username.

  I don't use this host longer so don't know if they have changed things since then.  Worth a try!

• How to set up 11 GR 2 forms of database connection?

  Once we're done with the initial installation of forms and reports 11 GR 2, how can I get it to connect to the database?

  I assumed that I could configure tnsnames.ora so I have to run the netca.  Only, I get an error "did not find the main class: Oracle.net.ca.NetCa" when I try launching netca.

  It is a server windows 2008 r2 64-bit, with nothing on it, except the forms and reports 11.1.2.2.0 configured for the deployment.

  I wanted to get a connection to the db for I can run the script create_webutil_db.sql and also so my forms and reports could at one point to connect to the db.

  I guess I could just run the script on a different machine tnsnames.ora or copy from another machine, but I'm just surprised netca fails.

  Am I missing something?

  NetCA works do not is apparently a known issue.  You can contact Support and refer to bug 13812101 , or simply set it up yourself.

  You must configure the tnsnames.ora found in the Instance_Home\config directory.  Thus, for example, on Windows the directory can be something like this:

  C:\Oracle\Middleware\asinst_1\config

  I have a treo pro. The Navigation button would not light up when I receive a call or a voice mail? Also, my phone keeps connect on board... When I click to see what programs are activated there aren't everything. Help!

  The central button will light only when you have a new voicemail, no missed calls or anything else besides. Also, light is a light that shines with a grey-white, so it is sometimes difficult to see in a clear box, if you move the device to obscurity and you receive a phone call and it goes to voicemail, check to see if it lights always upward. Also note that the middle button turns on only if this type of notification of voicemail can be managed by your operator.

  Who is your carrier is ATT? The device will go in and out of the range of cellular and will sometimes require the device to reconnect to the towers including the data plan. But the frequency with which it connects?

  It doesn't seem like every hour on the hour or every thirty minutes, or is completely random?

  Just getting worse is you can try to reset the unit hard and see where that puts the unit and see if all fuctions as usual

  I just got a TreoPro of my niece, his open and I have at & t, I need the start software OR something to make this stupid phone connect to my stupid computer. Operator error is not possible...   LOL

  Anyway, I have searched high and low, but for some reason some can't.  This Treo Pro OS is Windows Mobile 6 Professional (I think) and I want to sync (or what you call) with my Windows 7 computer in which I have MS Outlook 2007.

  I'm very used to using the Palm Desktop software for my other 2 phones Centro and my Palm T | X (which I really like). And if I can't get Windows on my phone to talk to my Windows computer so I can just download the Palm Desktop software (which I think I found but I still have my old CD) and go from there.
