  I'm trying to p2v linux 6.4. It fails with the following message is displayed:

  Error: Cannot get the IP address of the virtual destination machine running the converter assistance server.

  I have seen discussions on this message, but they all refer to dynamic IP address, taken from DHCP, as in my case, I use static IP address.

  In the meantime the p2v (which then breaks down...) I open console support machine and saw a message:

  I assume you are using converter 5.5. There is a new feature that allows the selection of the network card. However, it works well in the case of Linux P2V. If you have changed the type of adapter, use 'e1000' or 'auto' and try again.

  Remove the routing of the 6248

  Delete the IP address that you assigned to 4 VLAN on the 6248

  On the S5624P create VLAN 4 and assign an IP address

  On the S5624P implementation of the programme of assistance to point to the address DHCP IP

  This problem is solved. Click on modifier modify-> Virtual Network Editor, select connected by a bridge. Then check the Panel under the list, focusing on bridged-> gateway

  There are 3 options in the drop-down list (auto, vpn, physical network), automatic is the default, just to select the physical card. Then throw on your virtual machine,

  IP is back, the problem is solved.

  I have an inspiron1100 running xp home sp2.  Until about 2 weeks ago, everything went very well.  all of a sudden I can't acquire an ip address for the wireless or ethernet connections or the other.  Have updated drivers, drivers restored.  Shows Device Manager both working properly. If you open information system (located under Applications > utilities), you will see a column on the left and if you select printers the right pane displays the print queue information.   I am configuring 6901 phone with call 8.6 Manager.

  The problem is that these phones do not take the ip address and through the datasheet, I found that these phones do not support of VLAN.

  In our configuration, we use the 2960 switches and there are several VLANs and VLAN voice and data is separated so I removed the vlan data port swithc and just kept the vlan voice and still should not be any ip address.

  When I do come to the port of data switch vlan it take the ip address of the vlan database but I want to get the ip address of the vlan voice.

  If someone is facing this problem before please share.

  Symptom:
  69XX phone receives an IP address on one local VIRTUAL network other than the VLAN voice.
  Conditions:
  This will happen if there are two different DHCP servers for the VLAN voice and data, and the data from the server DHCP VLAN are not aware of VLAN.
  Workaround solution:
  Delete the configuration of VLAN voice on the switchport to server DHCP VLAN data.
  Additional information:
  Same problem exists on other phone models. For an example, see CSCsa85042 .

  Hi Bruce,.

  Out of what I can find on this network card is not available for the Mac without an operating system. I recommend get/burning a live CD/DVD of Ubuntu/Linux and run an Ifconfig in there.
