Failed to initialize Embedded Player - original Q in the Windows Forum (transferred to IE forum and this marked as answer)

Cannot initialize Embedded Player - in the Windows Forum so I asked in THE Forum and this marked as answer

For some reason, when I go on this site on one of my PC with Windows XP, http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/mini.cgi?station_name=jillfm&site=pro&tm=9578 , it appears a box indicating cannot initialize the built-in player. Please press STOP and PLAY to try again. But who never works on a pc.

How can I fix it?

I don't have any other ideas to try, sorry. As it is a problem with IE or Flash Player, you can ask for help in their respective forums.

You look at the forum by using the web interface?  If so, you can see where each post is said "in response to:"?

In your answer, once it is displayed:

    • The "in reply to:" field is set to the name of the person who wrote the post in which you click on the link to the answer .
    • The "in reply to:" field is set to the name of the original author if you click on the link to reply to the original message .

  • How can I start my XP desktop PC using the original CD of the Windows XP operating system, but I don't remember my password?

The last time I asked a question like that, someone made it is perfectly clear that they would not help me to crack a password..., three times. If you have any suggestions that may help me in fact, I'd be in your debt. Otherwise, save your time and ignore all this.

I am trying to perform a repair to the XP operating system. When I try to boot from the CD drive using the original Windows XP disc, I can not connect. It's a dead-end.

When I try to boot from the hard drive, the system reaches a certain point, and then it re-boots. If I just sit and watch, it keeps re-initialization. Strange thing is that recently, I changed the password. I simply do not remember what it is. And, seriously, I have experienced repeated amnesia episodes. The obvious thing to do is to keep my own hand written records..., I only using computers since 1982, before IBM introduced its first PC.

The BIOS provides a way to clean up all the stored passwords? This is where I'm going next.

I apologize for being a little rough. Part of that comes with age.

    Jeff

Hello, Jeffrey. I just read one of your other threads. Brian Tillman brings a great point that you missed. The BIOS password (if it still exists) has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other passwords, including those for things like a Windows XP profile.

Unless you have created passwords, while they do not exist. So, if you need to boot from the Windows CD using the Recovery Console, and you are prompted for a password, then chances are that just by pressing the Enter key (indicating an 'empty' or empty password) is all you need to do.

So, if I were you, I would not at all concerned about your BIOS.

In addition, I think you mentioned that you couldn't even see the administrator account. Assuming you have Windows XP Home Edition, this is how it is supposed to be. If you want to see it, you will need boot mode safe. Then you will see. :-)

If you DID create a password and have no idea of what it is, there are tools to reset your password. But I think that people don't post links to these programs in these forums Microsoft (not very well why). But they are easy to find if you use a search engine.

You say that you have recently changed a password, but you did not indicate what it was for. It is important to understand that the built-in Administrator account is NOT the same as another account that you are using happens to have administrator privileges. And assuming that you never set a password for the built-in Administrator account, so if you are using the Recovery Console, everything you need to do is press the Enter key.

  • Blu Ray player can not read the DVD. It can read CDs and Blu Ray discs, but not DVD.

Recently, I lost my hard drive.  Dell sent me a new disk with the drivers that came with the computer.

I just noticed that my Blu Ray player is no longer playing DVDs.  I don't know if the hard drive crash has nothing to do with it, or if it's a coincidence.

Windows says I have the latest driver.

The computer is a Dell XPS 8300.   Is the Blu Ray player: bd - re bh30n hl-dt-st.

The player has not served almost at all.   I read that there are the eyes for the Blu Ray vs DVD, then maybe the DVD part has failed.

I'm always suspect that miss me a piece of software or a changed value.

    Any ideas?

For all of you, the poor souls who shared my problem on the internet, I got beyond that.   Even though all said I had the latest driver, I found someone who said that they had downloaded a newer driver form the LG site and it fixed the problem.   Well, BH30N wasn't a model # on the LG site, but I found here: http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1703-file_BH30N-A103.zip.html Norton said it was OK, I clicked on the EXE file, he said that he had me upgrade from A101 to A103 and suggested that I reload.   Once I did, my Blu Ray player will read the DVD fine.

  • Mirage Pivot fails when you are using software that replaces the Windows Login (GINA) as Imprivata

When you try to perform a migration recently at a client site the pivot process has not completed as planned because of Imprivata. Imprivata is a SINGLE sign that seems to replace the Windows GINA and provides a custom login screen.

During an attempt of the Pivot process (Mirage 4.3) the start of Windows Update screen does not appear and the standard Windows login is displayed. When you manually login customer Mirage shows the USMT process is underway. This allows users to log in and is generally not the process but it does not complete the USMT process and join the domain.

This is due to the customer Imprivata, although we suspect that would happen with any product which replaces GINA of Windows.

    Workaround solution:

We are uninstalling the client of the base image Imprivata and try to apply this to be an application layer or display the migration script.

Has anyone else had this problem with a SINGLE sign or a custom GINA solution?

    Peter

We have removed Imprivata and the process worked ok. We are now reinstall using the post migration script that works

  • Problem: failed to initialize credentials store

    Hello

I am facing a problem very weird ... I ' v has completed a complete ADF Application with Jdev11g build 5188, WLS 10.3 remote deployment works like a charm.

For a few weeks now, I was not able to test my application or integrated Weblogic or distant Weblogic. Let me tell you the situation:
    (1) for the launch of JDev, I receive an error message in the console which tells me that it is impossible to recover the credentials for the database connection.
    (2) for the verification of a database connection, even with 'Remember my password' checked, I have to re - enter the password (to the first launch of jdev-am that clear?)
    (3) the connection works well (with the test button)
    (4) when you exit this screen propertie, I get a window that says: "Failed to initialize credentials store"-> OK; Then a new window error: "an error like, see details below.
    (5) for the integrated weblogic test I have a nullPointerException
-> see below for more details and the trace of the stack

    Even more to the point:
-In the AM configuration, I use a JDBC Data Source: java: comp/env/jdbc/EasygesProdDS
-For step 2, 3 and 4, it is not in the database (i.e. it can be local or distant)

I said it's a weird question because it used to work perfectly, a couple weeks back. I've been busy with deployments all this time. Something must have happenned, but what? What may be the cause?
Also, I'm really looking forward to understand that we are ready for production.

  • Adobe first test will not - install failed to initialize error

When you try to install the downloaded file to the trial, the following message appears: "we met with the following problems:

Setup could not initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. "Running Support Advisor sees no problem.

    I am running Windows 7.

    Help!

    Thank you!

If the installation program fails to initialize, then you want to check the PDApp.log file.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret this log file to troubleshoot issues with install newspapers | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

  • I can't windows media udate player. I get the 0x8007007e error code when executing the validation program.

I bought this computer new with XP about 5 years ago with no update problems in the past.

What are the causes of error 0x8007007E ?

When you use the Windows Update site, you can find that the service is unable to update your computer and returns a "General error":

    0x800a138f

However, the REAL error code we need is in the Windows Update log.

The windows update log is in the following locations:

    C:\Windows\Windows Update.log (Win XP only)

Just copy and paste the above in Windows Explorer and the
file will open automatically in Notepad on your computer utility.

Most recent journal entries will be at the bottom. Search for entries of update failed and you will see an error next to him.

Use the following tips to try to fix the 0x80072EE2 error... After each test point to determine if the problem is resolved.

The most likely entry that you will see is:

Error IUENGINE Determining computer configuration (error 0x8007007E: the specified module could not be found.)

This article explains how to fix the 0x8007007E error code...

What is the problem of 0x8007007E?

I don't want to get too technical, but here are the main reasons for this error code is generated:

    (a) there are a number of security and bug issues in Microsoft XML (MSXML) version 3.0 - SP3 Analyzer.

    (b) the 0x8007007E error can also be caused by missing or corrupted dynamic link library (.) DLL files) - CABINET. DLL and URLMON. DLL.

Here's how to try to solve the problem of 0x8007007E:

(Step 1) - Windows XP only...

There are a lot of applications provided with MSXML 3.0. Uninstalling one of these applications on a Windows XP system could potentially remove the MSXML 3.0 assembly files (msxml3.dll and msxml3r.dll).
We shouldn't have to register only a single file...

    To do this:

Click on Start menu and then click the icon for the race.
In the small box that opens, type the three letters: cmd, and then click the OK button.
In the command prompt window that has just opened (a black background and white text), type the following commands, pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard subsequently:

    regsvr32 msxml3.dll

Now, type in the word: output and the window will close.
Now restart and try and Microsoft Windows Update again...

If it fails with the error 0x8007007E once again try step 2

(Step 2) - Windows XP only...

Now lets you update your system with the latest Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) version 3.0 SP4

Download here (use the msxml3usa.msi for the English version.)

    Notes...

    (a) you have to reinstall MSXML 3.0 Service Pack 4 If you upgraded to Windows XP to a computer running one of the operating systems following:

    -Windows 98

    -Windows ME

    -Windows NT 4.0

    (b) Windows 2003 Server
comes with version 3.0 - SP4 and if you do not need to install it.

    (c) occasionally, Setup may need to restart the computer, but fails to inform the user. So restart your machine just in case. Then try Windows Update again.

    (d) to install a localized version (for example English) MSXML 3.0 SP4 on a system different from the previously installed/local (for example the French) version of MSXML 3.0 SP4, follow these steps:

Cancel the existing record of the installation package by running the following command in a command prompt window:

    msiexec /x {45534579-B75B-4A42-953B-2EF8E1DEB4F3} /qn

Now, install the new language version of MSXML 3.0 SP4.

If it fails with the error 0x8007007E once again try step 3

(Step 3) - Windows XP only...

    Search for missing/corrupted system files...

Windows XP comes with a wonderful tool called System File Checker (SFC) it scans and verifies the versions of all protected system files after you restart your computer... However, it can sometimes miss a problem, so we can run the tool now to replace the CABINET. DLL and URLMON. DLL, if there is a problem with them:

    To do this:

Click on Start menu and then click the icon for the race. In the small box that opens, type the three letters: cmd, and then click the OK button. In the command prompt window that has just opened (a black background and white text), type the following command:

    SFC/scannow

    then click OK

You must be logged on as a member of the Administrators group to run SFC.

You will need your Windows XP CD during this procedure if SFC needs to get an original file. Remember that Windows XP can have multiple instances of a. DLL to the folder and don't forget what version to which program.

    Notes...

I was asked if it is possible to have a show of "progress meter" during the execution of SFC... It's the registry hack you need. Please do not go play with your registry if you don't know what you do!

    The system key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

    Value name: SFCShowProgress

    Data type: REG_DWORD (DWORD value)

    Value data: (0 = disabled, 1 = on)
