  • Error message from LinkedIn

    Hello

Social sharing under iOS7 is now dependent on device and as such some users get the sharing icon LinkedIn (those who have the app on their device) showing when they share. If they decide that they then get the error message "not connected. Please connect to LinkedIn to share with your network. However, it does connect not even if the user is already logged.  I know that DPS is silent on LinkedIn, but some users are now seeing this as a 'bug '.

It's something to report LinkedIn. We have no control over the applications that are in addition to the share operating system user interface.

Also ran the method 1 and 2 in KB 946413 and tried to install/running the Parser MS recommended in this KB.  No luck.

Note: Should then repair Windows Installer, run the Windows Cleanup utility installer.  Reinstalled MS Office 2003 and I tried to update, highlighting the problem of Win Update.  No problem with installation/update with other applications package.

In addition, disabled 3rd part firewall and anti-virus during several tests.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Some ideas at the moment, but can you advise at least that there are specific forums for Windows XP.

Try to uninstall the Alps touchpad driver and then install the latest version available from Dell for your laptop:

    Hi Sarah Brown,.

    (1) remember you to make changes prior to this problem?

    (2) what is the complete error message you receive?

Method 1: Run the fixit available in the link below and check if that makes a difference

Difficulty of broken desktop shortcuts and common system maintenance tasks

Note: Fixit would attempt to recover bad sectors on the hard disk, in the course of this process there are chances of data loss from that particular area.

    Method 2:
if a Protection of resources Windows (WRP) file is missing or is damaged, Windows may not behave as expected. Auditor of file system (CFS) scan to fix all of the corrupted system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

  • 5 Lightroom sometimes fails to load EXIF GPS data from .jpg files

Until I Lightroom, I used geoSetter to add GPS data to my .jpg files. Most of them have loaded up in LR without problem, but for some of them, Lightroom could not import the GPS data. I used to compare GPS data in the loaded files OK and those who have not noticed that some of the problem files do not have exiftool: GPS, GPS Time Stamp, dater GPS map data. I used exiftool to change these in the file, Lightroom still not managed to load GPS data.  Anyone has an idea why Lightroom 5 sometimes fails to load EXIF GPS data from .jpg file

    GPS Position 20 deg 54' 41.68 '' N, 107 deg 0' 5.47 "E

The problem with P3207532.jpg is that it contains two sets of GPS, a values in the section of EXIF metadata in the XMP metadata section:

    $ exiftool -a -G P3207532.jpg | grep -i gps
[EXIF] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

[EXIF] GPS Time Stamp : 02:22:26
[EXIF] GPS Map Datum : WGS-84
[EXIF] GPS Date Stamp : 2015:03:20
    [XMP] GPS Date/Time : 2015:03:20 02:18:36Z
[XMP] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

But the XMP section contains an incomplete set GPS fields. Note that XMP:GPSDateTime specifies a time other than EXIF:GPSTimeStamp.

I don't know which of your programs may have created these XMP values false, incomplete, but they confused LR.  According to the specifications of the Working Group of the metadata, which accepted LR, LR, choose the EXIF GPS values and false XMP values should not confuse it. But LR is preferring the XMP values and then conclude it is not all the GPS coordinates.

You can work around this bug in LR by doing:

ExifTool - xmp: gpsdatetime = - xmp: gpsversionid = file

  • Failed to load the FLV message

    Hey guys -.

I was compress a web-series through compressor from FCP on my Mac G5 I'm trying to get the best video that I can get so I've been using the H264 codec and then changed the name, after Compression, for m4p in flv. This changes the file but when I go to Flash and try and connect it to my Flash skin via the Component Inspector-Source I get this message "failed to load flv". I use Flash 9, so there should be no problem. That this has something to do with it not being actually a flv file?

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

    Thank you

I uninstalled Firefox on my computer, then I reinstalled and tried to run, but this message appeared, "failed to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible"and Firefox does not open.

I tried press windows key + R on my computer and open %appdata%\Mozilla\ - and rename the folder labeled "Firefox", but he said that "the action cannot be complete because the folder or the file that is open in another program" I didn't open it and try to restart the pc, but still no help

A likely cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.

You can use one of them to make the Creation/use of a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    • Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile

Why don't you use Firefox 7?

  • Error message: "the address book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-install. "at the start of XP and the machine.

After uninstalling my XPSp3 o.e., I started getting the following error message: "the address book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-install. "at the start of XP and the machine.

Uninstalling included 7 entries registry to remove all the * files dbx and files *.wab addressbook, except himself. After uninstalling and receipt of the error message above, I tried to use my CD of XP OS to re - install O.E. as a component of Microsoft without success.

I upgraded to Outlook 2007 and imported to the address book of O.E. successfully before uninstalling.

Please advise me how to get rid of the error message always appearing at startup.

    Thank you

You can't really uninstall and reinstall OE without having to reinstall XP as OE is a part of it. I hope your foray into the registry does not require a reinstall of XP.

You now have the DBX files? WAB files?

If Outlook has been on your machine before this event, see the reference by PA Bear in this thread

All of you who have the same cause.  Something is screwed up with your address book.

It could be several specific problems, which include:
    -corrupted WAB file
-damaged or incompatible DLL files for the addressbook
-have OE set to use the Outlook98 / 2000 + contacts instead of the WAB
folder and there is something wrong at the end of Outlook
