Failed to start after removing malicious software

After removal of security 360 (Chinese malware) through Malwarebytes, was invited to restart the computer. However the computer (Vista) could not start start and crashes to the homepage with the circle goes round & round nonstop. Only be able to start in safe mode. Help!

If your infection is recent and the system restore is turned on and you can go back enough, restore the computer to an earlier date using Safe Mode.

To do this, restart the computer and start typing the key F8, select Safe mode with command option. If you are prompted to select an operating system, use the arrow keys to select the right pair and press ENTER. Log in as administrator or with an account that has administrator credentials. At the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe and press ENTER. Follow the prompts to restore your computer to an earlier date.

Cannot remove malicious software toolbars

My husband has foolishly agreed all downloads and now there malicious software toolbars. I tried everything I could find to remove them, but can't get rid of them. They don't show up under control panel - uninstall Firefox - Addons or Firefox - Extensions. I searched my hard drive for files that support pages told me to pick up, but none of them are there.

I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with Firefox 37.0.2. I tried:

Failed to start after installing the new memory module Equium A60

I have an Equium A60 laptop with the following specs:
P4 3.06 GHz
256 MB Ram (including 64 MB ATI graphics card)
30 GB HD
Windows XP Home Edition

The problem is the following; I bought a bar of memory in order to update my system. I bought a Kingston SO-dimm pc2100 512 MB. After installation of the memory of the laptop wouldn't start, after about 5 seconds after having turned it on, it turns off completely.

If I remove the memory it starts up fine. I had tested memory and its ok so there seems to be a problem with the laptop itself. I'm confused, so if anyone has an idea of what might cause boot failure, I would be happy to know.

As far as I know the main reason for the failure of start is the use of non compatible modules.

According to the specifications of the laptop, you must use PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51). If you want to buy the module Kingston (products of very good quality) check it please the Kingston MEMORY SEARCH

ThinkCentre fails to start after an attempt of memory upgraded. HELP, PLEASE!

I am in an uncomfortable situation and hope that you will be able to help me.

I got an extra 2Gb (2x1GB hynix 1Rx8 PC2-6400-666-12) which I offered one of my dubious friends technologically to put its ThinkCentre (TC) level. The TC had 2x1Gb hynix PC2-xxxx-555-xx (I can find a model right, if necessary). Initially, he knew not why he needed this upgrade bui I convinced him that his TC will work better and more quickly thereafter. Stupid me...

When first, I added the additional modules and on the TC then it started beeping that I interpreted as a memory test failure. Then I removed the original modules and only nine - gave the same result. So, don't know why, I rekindled the TC without changing anything. This time it stopped beeping but not started either.

I gave up, returned the original modules, assembled the TC and guess what... HE STILL DOES NOT START!

Under heavy eves of my friend, I started to remove one element after another, tried different combinations, etc. Always the same. At the end, after 2 hours of productive work, I tried to start with just the motherboard and CPU: no memory no nothing. Still no sound...

So, I wonder what happened and, most importantly, what can I do to revive it. My ex-friend he needs very early next week, so all your comments, suggestions, ideas are welcome. Thank you very much in advance!

Thinkcentre your friend there? We need a little more information, then this. In addition, when you upgraded ram have you tried to connect, so that you have removed all static electricity?

Finally, have you tried to use the CLR CMOS jumper on the motherboard to try to clear the cmos and then restart the desktop computer after that?

A likely reason may be a few changes in the config.xml file. If you have a previous backup of the config.xml file, then try to replace the config.xml file, and then restart the server.
Another reason for this exception maybe it were completely a few changes to the configuration through the administration Console that were not activated and the server administrator has been restarted. According to this scenario, weblogic will create a dir /pendig and have a config.xml file is created with the changes unchecked.

a solution of workaround that you can try to restore the management server:

Under domain dir.
\pending directory - take backup and delete the directory.

Under Dir Admin Server:
data\store - take backup and delete the directory.

New HP HARD drive > load recovery disks > fails to start after the installation process on the press continue

I have Pavilion d7-4165dx laptop. I saw US, that made a purchase of the United States (BestBuy).

-HARD drive failed after renewal of antivirus software trial period.

-All diagnoses would not recognize the HARD drive.

-Support HP said still in warranty, but I am out of country. HP said more was likely HARD drive cable.

-Buy cables and a hand off USA door.

-Installed, always the same answer.

-Ordered the new HP's HARD drive. Out of stock. Finally inquiring was commissioned to a part 3rd US rep. He recommended to buy directly from output, but higher speed. Did this and then HP replacement HARD drive arrives. Both outside the U.S. door hand.

-Install the fastest (slightly smaller) Seagate 500G 7200. Has started the recovery with discs of recovery (5 in total who received from BestBuy, but not the OEM to the research), but before the new HARD drive is smaller than the original WD 640 G 5400. Put WD #1 Bay and Seagate in #2.

-Start the process of disk recovery. Any resumption of the process of the plant and on the last drive-through, it says do not touch while the PC starts on and outside, etc. Said so press on continue continue.

-When the press continue, simply goes to the black screen with "No boot device...". »

Pavilion p40 fails to start after installing a gtx 760

Hello

I recently bought a new graphics card, the power and the case to my p40 pavilion in.

Move the computer to the new case went very well, I installed a new PSU to power the 760 gtx.

Also: nothing blew up, which is nice.

But after the installation of the card and all wrap, start the computer fails. The message appears but freezes, the access to the contents of the bios while the card is installed with internal graph is impossible.

My question is: Y at - it no way to update the BIOS that can solve this problem?

HP Pavilion P7-1459 fails to start after installing a new video card

I bought a GeForce GT 640 video card to put in my new HP Pavilion P7-1459, after checking the specs. The card requires a PCI-Express x 16 for Version 3.0 slot. Check, the HP Pavilion P7-1459 has one of those and all the other cards speca are well below systems.

After uninstalling the ATI driver and withdrawal of the card Radeon 7450, I put the 640 TG in the PCI-Express slot and turn on the machine. Fails it hard machine and the system does not start.

I have already tested the card in another machine and it work very well, is not the card.

Any ideas?

Please check the minimum recommended configuration for the 640 GT power. Your computer has a 300 Watt power supply, and it seems that most cards of TG 640 recommend a 350 Watt power supply.
