failure of plugin Safari

I play games on Facebook and yesterday received message indicating "plug-in failed." I followed the instructions to make sure that all the appropriate boxes have been checked in Safari preferences and they were. I made sure that Adobe Flash has been updated with the latest version and it is. Using Safari, it keeps giving the same message.

Safari Version: 9.1.3

iMac OS X El Capitan Version: 10.11.6

I used a different browser today, Chrome and had no problem. Is there anyone here has any idea on what I can do to fix this problem?

    Downloaded the new flash, and now it does not work on safari. Never had a problem with it before.     If you want to update the operating system, you start to download via the AppStore.  That said, someone tried this yesterday and it has not solved the problem for them.

    We tested the upgrade script and blocking on a Mac OS 10.6.8 machine and are unable to reproduce the symptoms, but we believe that they exist.  We don't know what the common denominator is yet, however.

    I wonder if a complete uninstall and reinstall of Flash Player can solve it:

    I can access is no longer the blaze tv due to the failure of plugin. I have a mac book pro 10.6.8.

    Check Safari, Preferences, security, Allow Plug-ins and make sure that the plug-ins are checked and plugin settings are checked...

  • Adobe Reader can work with Safari 10.0?

    These days, sites that require Adobe Reader to view content do not open in Safari.  At least some of them, because who knows what technology is used to build each website that I visit?

    What has changed here?  Safari?  Adobe?

    I still do not see Adobe Reader as an extension that can be installed for Safari.

    Try to install Adobe Reader. Usually, that installs a plugin Safari. You will need to go to preferences to set up.

    Failing HARD drive. Fortunately just copied HDD external HDD before the failure. New Safari installation on the new HARD drive. How to make bookmarks and favorites of the old disk backup on external drive for the new Safari installation on the new HARD drive?

    How do you have copied the data externally? You want to backup the folder User/Library/Safari, but how to get that depends on how you copied. If it's a Time Machine backup, go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select library/Safari. Enter Time Machine and restore this file.

    If the outside is bootable, boot off of it, do what above, and then copy the folder to the library user to internal drives.

    It is a strange.

    I got several plugins for After Effects crash and die in a row now. It started with one and it starts to look like a failure of plugins to work in the latest After Effects - even after their updating and reinstalling AE completely.

    What happens is the following; a plugin starts to give an error at startup (or same æ crashing completely). Can I remove the panels (or even from the folder scripts completely). The program works very well for another day or so with other plugins installed and anchored in the panels.

    The next day, another plugin no longer throw up another mistake of his own.

    No update or changes since, except using AE for hours.

    The cycle repeats; I remove this plugin, continue to use AE (feature slowly lose this way) and then the next day fails a few other plugins...

    There may be a third culprit somewhere, it might even be Java associate? Since there were a few updates in recent weeks?

    But this is the behavior I've seen so far. It's like a slow systemic breakdown and I don't know how to stop it. Purchased same plugins became useless for me.

    Anyone else knows a similar behavior? Or someone who has experience?

    The problem is the plugin related.

    It turns out that the fb-toolbar plugin had a bug which caused its preferences file massively inflate (600 MB +). Of course, it was not supposed to happen. I spoke with the developer of this plugin and everything's hunkydory now. Thank you!

  • Cannot display pages in Safari on my Mac.

    When I'm on a Web site and need to display a page, it will appear dark grey. I don't know what program is having a problem, or how to reset so that I can see the content. I'm fairly certain that all my programs are up to date, this problem started several months ago. Before that, I had no problem viewing in Safari, my favorite browser. Lately, in this case, I need to open FireFox to view. Any suggestions on what went wrong past and how to fix it? I really don't like having to change browsers, as it slows me down a bit.

    Can I have more information on your mac? The info above, it looks like you have 4 GB of ram. What is your CP?

    It look like your computer is slow is because 98% of your PC is used for Hearthstone witch led to a driver failure, and your RAM has a lot to deal with. I would recommend strength leave Hearthstone when they surf the web, etc... Hope this helps, good luck to you.

  • Blamed the capitan!

    Hi, I was blaming updates for my problems but just found the info from here Etrecheck and I hope that's not what it looks like?

    Does anyone of you guys guide me as to the time the fact that the report suggests that my hard drive is faulty is correct? and that would be the main cause of the problems I had with?

    In addition, a little off topic, can someone tell me if I should be able to hear a fan inside the iMac, as I can't say I've ever heard one, just wondering if overheating could have caused the problem and also, if it is the hd, is this something which is quite easy to ride and where would be the best to get.

    Problem: Beachballing

    Description:

    I think the problem started just before the update of el capitan but made a few updates, the day before this date problems began.  El capitan, which he stopped for a few days, I installed then he returned to slow down / beach balling.

    I can't scroll pages for more than a few seconds then the beachball is displayed for 5-10 seconds, type anything is impossible because there are ten words before it then displays them. iTunes runs for about 30 seconds then stops mid song for ten seconds, then did the same thing once again, all very, very frustrating, any help gratefully received.

  • software password methods (and keychain)

    I try to refine my use of passwords on my different computers and I wonder if someone wouldn't mind offering their expertise in a repair tutorial.

    the problem is that I have safari on a laptop and a desktop computer, and these are connected via icloud. I also have an iphone. no doubt all these are connected to the same (?) I guess that KEYCHAIN that stores passwords for things like Web sites and credit cards and autocompleting of personal information.

    then I also have the 1Pass for mac software.

    I tend to store passwords in the 1Pass software but also click to confirm the storage of the passwords in the keychain. However, I do not understand how it works, or if they are related or completely independent or what.

    for example, if I pay for something online Keychain nicely stores my credit card data.

    If I connect to a site Web plugin safari 1Pass stores well my login information

    However, I keep a backup of my passwords in the software of taking notes that I seem to need it often (for example when the password in 1Pass does not work for some reason any). also, here are the passwords but not exceptionally safe passwords generated by an algorithm.     1 1Pass doesn't seem to enter password in ANY Web site I have access, so sometimes I have to ACCESS the database and FIND the Web site and then manually enter the information.

    2 1Pass does not seem to automatically enter the date in a website on the IPHONE when in safari (I guess that there is no plugin IOS?) so in this case, when I land on a page that I need to do something with - I need to BACK out of safari, enter 1Pass, FIND THE WEB site, then navigate to the Web site through the 1Pass app and then try to connect to the site. It is a major pain.

    3 /if/ a password does not work in 1Pass and /if/ does not save the password manually in the note-taking software, what would I? I guess I reset the password via the Web site and enter the new password in 1Pass.

    4 how the KEYCHAIN interface with all this? It even works or somehow, it works in the background? done only passwords autocomplete KEYCHAIN and connections in safari or he asks a guest to do this? If I do not get a command prompt to add a Keychain password can I add it myself?

    5. what happens in the workflow above when I use someone else's phone because my battery died or if I have to use someone else's computer?     4 Keychain can provide auto-complete for usernames and passwords in safari, it could also before entering a username and password.     I just noticed that in 22 FF on a computer 64-bit of Windows 7 do not display iframes that refer to google spreadsheet. I turned to hardware accel in FF nothing helps. The functions of the site correctly on Chrome, Opera and IE. Some users have reported that it works on Win XP 32 bit.

    This used to all work flawlessly and I don't know when or how this has not... maybe a month ago? It is tested on several PCs BTW. I tried the mode without failure (without plugins) too.
