  Could test you with Advanced SystemCare surf off Protection? You can set the page modules. Either:

  In the left column, click Extensions. If it requires a restart to take effect, Firefox should display a link for it.

• Search engine results be re-directed to a fake web site on Windows XP

  When I use any search engine to find information on the Internet, I get results back as usual. However when I click on any of the results I am re-directed to a completely different site.   Until a week ago, I got no problem with opening links in e-mail messages in Windows Mail.  I suddenly had problems with the opening of all the links in e-mail messages - when I click on the link, an error message reads "Windows cannot find [url], make sure that you have typed the name correctly and try again"... a window then opens with a white screen.  But it is not a problem at the opening of the page if I paste the link to the window.

  I also noticed that the problem resolves after a few attempts to open multiple links.   But after the reboot, the problem arises again.

  I am currently using Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Mail; did an update today with Service Pack 2, ran full scan of the system with Norton (no virus) and did uninstall the Yahoo and Google toolbars (recommended by David O - engineer Microsoft Support responses - to another user in this forum with similar issues).  And I still have the same issues.

  THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED - DUE TO INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUES BETWEEN SP2 AND NORTON.  UNINSTALL SERVICE PACK 2.

  You can check to see if reset you your assoications by default, so you can now view the files.

  pen Control Panel (all items view) and click the default programs.

  Click on the game to link your default programs.
  In the left column, select the program (highlighted) a list that you want to change the associations is default for file.
  To set all Assciations by default in the Program-
  NOTE: This will allow to associate the selected program by default used by Windows Vista to open all types of files and protocols it can open.
  Click set this program as default.
  Click Save to apply.
  Click OK.

  Not sure that this is a factor in your case, since did you a Reset.

  Firefox has a "Send link" feature but it is not in the menu or the toolbar when you install Firefox. You can add it using the personalization feature.   You can also find it in the classic menu bar. If you do not usually display that bar (file, editing, display,...), you can display it temporarily by pressing the Alt key or by pressing the F10 key. Then, check the menu file for email link.

  2. were you able to download photos before without any problem?

  3. where are the photos?

  4. you receive messages or error codes when you try to access all photos?

  Method 1:

  Disable or rather uninstall your antivirus and other security software installed and try to import. If this helps you to navigate to the desired folder and get the photos uploaded, this would indicate that the setting of firewall/antivirus blocking you to exert the action. You may need to configure some settings in the software to allow the same.

  Note: The computer without antivirus software or firewall is a potential threat to the computer; Be sure to activate security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the problem.

  Method 2:

  You can try to disable add ons and check if it helps:

  Step 1:

  Run Internet explorer with no Add - ons. Steps to open Internet with no mode of modules:

  a. click on start

  (b) in the search box, type in Internet explore

  c. Select Internet (no add-on mode)

  If you were able to access the Web site without any problems, then the module may cause the error.

  Step 2: Measures to determine which add-on may be the cause of the error

  a. open Internet explorer.

  b. click on tools, click on Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or disable add-ons

  c. in the list view, click Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer to display all add-ons.

  d. click on the Add-ons that you want to activate, and then select Enable.

  e. Repeat steps above for each module that you want to activate.
