  If you named the file with extension *.vbs (Visual Basic Script), you did executable. Type cmd in the bar (start orb) research and the command prompt type test.vbs or any that you called. • Windows is preventing me to download and install games on computer.

  Hidden object games are blocked by Windows saying that they are corrupted files or missing something. Whenever I get a somewhat different message. The games that I downloaded and installed previously are too blocked.   Ensure that the partial memory image is turned on and make sure the path is % SystemRoot%\Minidump.

  4. check that the viewers is ENABLED:

  Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

  If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

  I play online games. When I've had problems, it's because of the video card and some browser settings. Some games will not play on the ATI Radeon HD graphics cards and some will not play on NVIDIA cards.  This is a known issue with some Steam games.

  I found that my Radeon ATI\AMD video card was causing the problem. I changed to a NVIDIA card and have not had a problem with a Steam game since. If you have a mid-range graphics card, you should be able to play any game from steam. Mine is a model of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 it.

  Recently, I replaced the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE with a 8400 GS PCI Express so that I can play Call of Duty 4, Fallout 3, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, etc. After installation of the new equipment, several problems came. I have a 32-bit of Windows Vista Home Premium.

  1. the "Windows experience index" could not evaluate the 8400 GS.
  2. Windows could not find the driver for the 8400 GS software automatically, then I found myself from www.nvidia.com.
  3. Although games played much more quickly after any where between 5 and 30 minutes of games, the computer goes REALLY slow. Yet once I close the games via the Task Manager, the computer continues to accuse. Icons highlight more slowly, for example. It remains for 5 to 10 minutes before returning to its original state.

  It could have been a problem plant material so I reinstalled the driver/3 times already.
  I have cleaned the registry of the computer, defragmented it and the two drives C and D.
  Problem persists.

  Help, please? Otherwise I'm going to get a new video card that is not too good.

  Looks like you're having overheating problems. Everything works fine until the internal temperature reaches a certain point, then the system slows down to protect the processor failure. When you leave the high demands of the games that you play, the card can cool down a bit and things pick back up. Take a look at your map and see if there's a fan built in. If this is not the case, try to join one. If so, try to take the case out of your pc to see what happens. If it works fine, then you must install some additional cooling in your case to dissipate heat coming builing. The other scenario is that you could have a defective 8400 GS. You could try to Exchange if it is still under warranty.

• Computing and games freezes

  I have a problem with my new installation of windows 7 where I guess he thinks I would RAID. I get this error: Reset device, \Device\RaidPort0, has been published.   Your image Resource Monitor shows the problem that I had in mind. Your system is holding to the memory of the night before and it releases is not memory free . You can force the release by restarting your computer, but often it is not very practical. Another way to force the release of standby memory is available using the RAM (freeware from Microsoft) card:

  Download and install and create a shortcut on your desktop for RAMMap and / or PIN to the taskbar. When you sense the system becomes unresponsive, use Ctrl + Shift + Esc to access the Task Manager. Click the performance tab and the resource monitor button. Click the memory tab and check if free is close to zero, or is equal to zero. If it is, open RAMMap, click on empty on the menu bar and the empty queue. This action restores instantly free memory.
