Fast signal repeats

Fast signal repeated every 25 years and does not stop. How to turn off the sound? I rebooted several times, does not use a TV tuner and receive no error message.

What when this 'fast Signal' repeats? a popup on the screen? a notification?

  • Signal repeated on Officejet 6310 all-in-One paper jam

My all-in-one OfficeJet 6310 repeatedly says "Paper jam" when there is no paper jam, and I have to keep pressing OK until the printer prints.  Sometimes the back panel pops out and I have to re - insert.  Sometimes the paper (I use HP paper) feeds wrong on one side and jams.  Usually before the printer indicates "Paper jam" there is a dull inside, as if the printer is going through a series of internal cycles. Then a blank sheet of paper feeds through.  This printer, renovated, was sent to me by HP as a replacement in 2007.  It works fine on the copy, scan and fax.  Printing is the big problem.  All the answers?  I can't see all pieces of paper or something in the printer.  I use a HP Pavilion Notebook PC DV4307cl with Windows XP.

  • Computer "is" more low-signal router instead of range extender

I've seen a few similar posts; but nothing seems exactly like my problem; or I missed it.

I have a router WRT54G and WRE54G range extender; seem to be working well and talk to each other.  (Took a while, but I got it; and it has been fine since.)   I connected to the signal stronger WRE fast when Internet and slow Internet when WRT connected to the lower signal (which is further) - just like one would expect.

The problem: my computer (only place Office) will be unrelated to the stronger signal "Range Extender".  I'll work some time or leave and come back - and the link will be back signal Extender, fast router signal slow, lower.  I can click on my profile; Connect and sometimes come back on the most powerful signal.  (If not, try again and again until it crashes into the most powerful signal.)  [Even with "site survey" - I select Connect to the stronger signal, but it seems to connect randomly either.]

    - & - Another post, I think I could do something with the MAC addresses - for example, block my USB MAC of the router wireless receiver, so he 'only' to connect to the Extender.  (Better yet, I can say my network connection to connect only to the MAC of the extender?)

    Operating system is - 2000

Here's something I put in place earlier - for the most part just repeats above:

    Equipment:

LinkSys wireless router; WRT54G; 6 worm.  Firmware 1.00.7 (now 1.02.7)

LinkSys Range Extenders;  WRE54G; Firmware Ver 3 3.01.01 (now 3.04.01.)

USB LinkSys network adapter: WUSB54G Ver 4

-WHY it keep coming back to the lowest signal from router?  (The big question).

-Why, when I do a site survey, select the strongest signal and select Connect, enter the WEP code, he still occasionally connect back right at the lowest signal from router, even if I've highlighted the stronger signal Repeater when I hit the Connect button?

-If I create profiles with the most powerful signal, it is always the same (that is, sometimes it connects the signal the most powerful signal "Extender" and sometimes the Repeater weaker signal, except that I do not need to enter the WEP code if I connect to the profile instead of the signal of view survey.)

-According to information online, I found that the router must be on 'Firmware version 2.02.2' to be compatible WRE;   But - if I check for the latest version of the firmware for WRT54G version 6, it is 1.02.7 - does that mean the Extender is incompatible with my router?

-Are there a way to "force" the wireless network connection to bind to a specific MAC address - so I can restrict to a stronger signal of the Extender?

Scrooge, thanks for the suggestions.    Earlier, I tried the following solution, based on a similar condition a few - this on another post:

Solution: Configure the router MAC filtering does not to allow connections to the MAC address of the wireless USB network card.

Since I tried this a few days ago I was followed and it worked.  So, before he would keep switching to the smaller Repeater link.  In saying the Repeater from the heat to let the link not only the Extender to post a link and it is now to stay connected to the Extender and the speed remains constant.

  • Acquisition keep repeated samples Source of relaxation

    Hello

I found this article http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5009, and the vi attached to it will do what I need.  I want to acquire continuous samples at a sampling rate specific based on an external trigger on PFI0.  Pretty simple things.  However, the trigger on PFI0 signal repeat at regular intervals (every 0.1 seconds or more).  I want the vi to acquire all the time but to be triggered on the first instance of the trigger on PFI0, then to ignore the rest of Extensible triggers.  It may acquire up to 10 seconds after this initial trigger, and after the time has expired, that I will call the DAQmx clear task vi.

The vi of this article will do this, or should be changed in any way to accept only the first instance of relaxation?

    Thank you.

    Steve

You're in luck.  In response to the 1st relaxation and ignoring the following are normal behavior by default.  On several occasions of the additional work of trigger (and CQI data compatible hw) to set up.

So yes, the trigger in the article you linked should work as you want.  Note, however, that the example is designed to use an external signal like a sample clock.  If you just want to use the synchronization engine internal to the Commission for a specified sampling rate, you can specify "OnboardClock" as the Source of the clock on the façade.

    Thanks for the pointer.

I found the rest of reference to the website of Bell Mobility (Canada), that solved my problem:

How can I choose the number of rings before the center of messages or no answer transfer picks up?

To set the number of rings before messages or center of the Express Message Centre picks up, follow these steps:

From your mobile phone, press on * 94, followed by the number of standard rings you would like that your callers hear before display se pick up; This can be between 2 and 9. (For example * 942 to 2 rings)

    1. Press SEND or TALK
    2. If the change is successful, you will hear a confirmation tone. If the change was not successful, you will hear a fast busy signal; Repeat steps.
  • WiFi to my Time Capsule still degrades 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz

My capsule of time always degrades to the band of 2.4 GHz instead to be linked to the 5 GHz band when I'm browsing the internet, doing someone knows if it's an antenna, problem of router or a drop of water lost connection Bean, thanks.

Your Time Capsule is not downgraded to 2.4 GHz at all, it's always the production both a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network at any time. That's why's called it a double router broadband simultaneously .  Wireless devices will be automatically connect at 5 GHz or 2.4 Gz based on their own abilities and their distance from the time Capsule.

5 GHz signals are 'faster' signals, but they are also 'weaker' signals, so you no longer have a lot of success with 5 GHz when wireless devices are in the same room or have line-of-sight to the time Capsule. Once a device moves a piece or more away from the time Capsule, the device 'sees' the stronger 2.4 GHz signal here and commute to 2.4 Ghz for the connection stronger.

Unfortunately, once a device powered 2.4 GHz, usually not going to happen 5 GHz unless you temporarily disable WiFi on the device and then turn it on again. If the device "sees" a 5 GHz signal strong enough, then it will connect to this network.

If you want devices to connect at 5 GHz, using an option to assign a different name for the 5 GHz network, you can "point" or "force" devices to connect to this signal.  The downside to this, is that you also need manually "perpendicular to the" 2.4 GHz devices if they are located a few rooms away... Time Capsule because they may not be able to pick up even the 5 GHz signal to this place. "  Even if they can, the 2.4 GHz signal will be much stronger and probably faster than the 5 GHz network.

After the back if you need some tips on how to assign a different name for the 5 GHz network.

  • Trigger multiple channels of PFI

    Hello world!

I want to create a trigger depends on two signals incoming (from external function generators) of PFI. Both are square waves, but the frequency is different. My wish is to trigger the slower from the top down as three top to bottom the faster and then generate an analog output. The picture is hopefully more descriptive than my words.

I use a NI DAQmx 6713 card. It doesn't matter if the solution is a LabVIEW VI or a C++ writes the text file. All the recommendations of good tutorials or similar is welcome. I managed to trig the arbitrary waveform after signal A or B, but I can't have the status of "County/wait three impulses."

    Best regards

    K. Berg

    Hi K Berg,

It is possible with the 6713 - you will need to use a meter of output to generate the trigger for your AO signal.  Use your signal slow to raise the output of the counter.  Use the fast signal for the time base of the counter with an initial value 3 delay ticks.  The meter goes off on the edge of your slow signal and once that was triggered will generate a pulse after 3 ticks of the fast signal.

  • Pause a redeclenchables meter

Hi everyone, I'm trying to accomplish something that seems simple to me, but I'm having a hard time to implement.

What I have is two impulses. The first impulse triggers off a signal external TTL at 10 Hz with a 3ms delay, so it also fires at a frequency of 10 Hz. The second impulse triggers off the coast of the first impulse with a delay of 100 microseconds, but I need this impulse to fire at 1 Hz instead of 10. This seems to be a classic example of triggering, but I have a problem with LabVIEW. (Note: the 2nd pulse triggers the first pulse instead of the external trigger for the stability of synchronization.)

What I need is very similar to the example shown here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/204538A044431C9B86257377004EB952, as in, I would like to break my fast signal using a small moment of a slow. Except that in my case, my fast meter (10 Hz) is triggered and the slower meter (1 Hz) can be arbitrary, rather than the reverse as in the example.

I tried to do by using the three counters. One of them is a redeclenchables impulse that controls the 1st impulse (ctr0). Another is the same thing, but used for the 2nd pulse (ctr1). And the third uses just the implicit/ongoing synchronization tool to create a 1 Hz signal (ctr2). I then tried to put in the 'break' property node in ctr1 use the output from ctr2 as source to pause, but it has erased my 2nd pulse.

I'll upload a VI as soon as possible (maybe it is a negligible error), but this sounds like a correct approach?

    Thank you very much!

The code snippet below is a starting point to generate your 2 impulses with only 2 counters.  No need for a 3rd counter or type of relaxing break.

Hypothesis: I treat only the rising/tip of impulses as critical timing functionality, making sure that the edges the timetable you have described.

Both are just redeclenchables single pulse, one triggers the external signal of 10 Hz with a delay of 3 ms.  The pulse is short enough so that the meter will be easily ready to retrigger 100 milliseconds later.

The second counter triggers the release of the first with a delay of 100 usec.  This time the pulse is set to be long enough that the pulse will not end, for about a second.  It ends just in time for redeclenchee by the 10th later trigger edge.  If these impulses will be at 1 Hz, with edges of attack delayed by usec 100 to another counter msec and 3.1 of the external pulse source.

  • Separation of the two edge!

    Hi all

Maybe a newbie question, but I haven't found an exact answer so far.

    I have two signals.

A slow which I want to use as a trigger of power and a quick where I want to count the edges.

I want to measure the number of edges of the fast signal occurring between two rising edges of the slow trigger signal.

I read the help of separation of two edges and examples and always found three signals.

    So my question.

Is it possibel to use two separation of edge with only two signals and connect the a slow (trigger)

    both DOOR and to THE?

Or maybe someone can tell me how do to best accomplish this measuring task.

    Many thanks for any help,

    Ralf

Since a picture is worth thousand words, here, try something like this:

    Here's the idea:

1 counter is set up for the period measurement with units on the ticks.  Normally this would record the number of edges of a base clock of internal time between consecutive edges of the pulse train whose period is measured.  Here we are substituting the normal behavior a little bit.

    2. Notes the DAQmx Channel property node.  Let's say the task of counting your pulse train faster * rather * count of a database internal time clock.

    3. in the time mode, the counter will be reset to 0 in each cycle of the signal period.  So you will get a buffer zone to tell you how many more fast pulse occurred between the values * each * consecutive pair of slower pulse.

    4. we will ignore element 0 of the array because its value will be quite random, representing the start time of the task until the edge 1st period.  It is very often not explicit.

  • How can I get channel z (zero) data encoder with a NEITHER-9411 in scan mode?

    Hello

I use a cRIO to read a quadrature encoder, and I need z-Canel (zero channel) data using a NOR-9411 in scan mode.

    Chassis: NEITHER cRIO-9074

    Module C-series: 9411

    Encoder: EIB H25 series (model # XH25D-SS-1440-ABZC-28V/V-SM18)

Now, I installed it using in scan mode and the properties > Configuration parameters of specialty as follows:

    Lifestyle specialty: Quadrature

    Input filter: disabled

    Time base of speed: 4096us

    Index Mode: Disabled

This replaces Position0 position 1, Velocity0 and Velocity1 module instead of et0, DI1 channels, etc.  It works well to get a reading of the speed, but not the Z.

I need to know Z as in the rest of my program calculations depend on.  (For this encoder Z is a digital signal that goes low when the encoder reaches 360 °.  It is also a very fast signal.  7200 RPM, it has a width of approximately 3.3us pulse.

How can I get the data Z in Scan Mode?

    Agile Hello,

The mode setting of index is the only way to access the Z channel in Scan Mode.  If selected the position will reset when the z channel is detected and the phase of the two other channels corresponds to your selection.

It seems that you have the real z signal elsewhere in your code.  You may use the position data to generate the Z channel for this purpose?

Let me know if you have any other questions,

    Sebastian

  • buold a mask for a waveform

    Hi all

I have to build a mask for a signal and check if the actual signal remains in my mask range...

    How can I build it?

    for example: as I entered a 2V square wave + 2V, f is 1 KHz

    My range of +/-0, 2V

Obviously I wish that labview could ride my waveforms and check if the real, one stay in the other two.

The limits are bound by some time, but in practice, you must set the limits according to whatever your unique purchase. You can of course apply each acquiring signals repeated up to the limit.

The limits and the waveform is aligned defining t0 of each are the same.

  • WAG160Nv2 & Netgear DGN2000

    Hi all.

I really hope someone can help because I had this problem for a long time and I can't seem to get it sorted.

Here's the situation, I have a Linksys WAG160Nv2 (primary router DSL) and a Netgear DGN2000 (former DSL with router), the dsl on the Netgear port is broken and I now want to use it as a Repeater. I need to do this because I want to have the internet connection for my PS3, but also want to connect my pc to the internet across the House. Unfortunately, there are no half measures to put only the linksys so that both can access it, so I want to use the netgear as the signal Repeater. I tried to use the "Repeater with wireless client association" on the netgear, I put the channel SSID, security, on both the same and still no luck.

It is even possible to have the Netgear repeat the signal from Linksys?

Any response will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Dave.

N ° it is not possible unless you connect with an ethernet cable.

WRT 1900 ACS router, switch SE 4008 WRT, of 6500 RE HG AC1200 extender

If possible I would like the 6500 RE HG as a WAP user, is it possible?  I know there's a 300N WAP browser, but I want to take advantage of the RE 6500 port speeds and speeds of speeds\simultaneous updated wireless band.  My thought is to have the WRT 1900 ACS in a place that will pass to the SE 4008 in another place that feed the RE 6500 Hg in another place like a WAP browser.  I would prefer hard line the RE HG 6500.

    Any help is appreciated!

Hi, DblDeuce. Linksys RE6500HG will only act as a signal Repeater wireless to your existing Wi - Fi router or Access Point, and it is not a feature must be configured as an access point. However, you can try to look at the LAN-to-LAN or LAN-to-WAN waterfall with the Linksys router on your network configuration of your choice. Check out this link as a guide.

You can also use a power adapter line for your network configuration. Check out this link.

  • Repeated values in the measure (FPGA, cRio) signals

    Hello

I'm seeing repeated in my measurements values and trying to determine the cause

I read a single analog channel from a module NI 9201. In order to eliminate the noise, I averaged several samples by using the ms and RMS measures VI (shown in "FPGA Code.png")

An example of repeated values appear in the "comparison of Signals.png' for both the original signal and mean

The sampling frequency of the NI 9201 module for a single channel is 500 kech. / s, which I also checked by measuring the sampling frequency (the code for this is also reflected in "FPGA Code.png")

On the target of cRIO RT I record these values in a loop timed 500us using 1 MHz of the cRio clock

For the ms and RMS measures VI, I tried several options, for example:
-500 US measurement time, sample rate 500 kech. / s
-450 US measurement time, sample rate 450 kech. / s
-400 US measurement time, sample rate 400 kech. / s
-US 300 measurement time, sample rate 300 kech. / s

Each of them give measurements with repeat values to varying degrees, for both original and average signals

    Any suggestions?
