Fatal Error/MSI Scan Dot4_plugin crash previous issue

I running Windows 7 64 bit

I am trying to install the driver and software for my HP Photosmart Premium Touchsmart all in one model C309n

There, my HP software has disappeared.  Then I started having questions incompatible ink so I decided to try to reinstall it.  For the past 4 months, I tried to switch to an accident of Dot4_patch.exe which will not allow me to download the full software OR driver.  After reading the forums, I decided to completely uninstall using the CCC folder and try to reinstall, concluding that on the Web page is that you can download the software updates is a Dot4_patch update.  So I thought that I was downloading the software, I could try to download the patch at the same time, because the patch downloading unless she has something to update...

He started to work and I started to raise my hopes, only to be dashed in pieces with a fatal error MSI scan problem and now I won't and will probably invest in a new photo printer and probably not buy HP.  I have, can I decide to slam HP to everyone I know and review every website I can find because I don't think a system restore must be a solution to a problem.  For the amount of money I spent on this printer, I think it would work... for a really really long time.

Please help restore my faith in HP.  Really, I would not buy another photo printer that absolutely, I can't pay.  Thank you in advance.

Signed,

frustrated

I was able to resolve myself.

In the Panel, I chose printers > add printer. I selected the option without wireless/Bluetooth.

I took care to wait for all of the printers that it detected were loaded. I found myself choosing the second listing of the printer that I want - with the IP showing.

He urged them an 'install from' option to select a destination to install from. I sailed on my installation disc and the Autorun feature on the disc.

He said 'installation' for a while. Then he gave me a print test option. I sent a print with a total success and can now access the printer from my computer.

  • F4180 - fatal error during installation - MSI.dot4wrp40 on Windows 7

What is the latest tips or help on the installation of an all-in-one HP F4180 device software.

2 days ago, I bought an HP computer brand new that works under Windows 7 64-bit. It is essentially provided although I uninstalled Norton and installed Microsoft Security essentials. I am now trying to move on from my old XP computer devices and I stuck F4180 all-in-one printer, scanner, copier...

I didy plug my F4180 on the new computer. He downloaded the drivers and I can print. However when I just then try to install the full software on your Windows 7 Web site that would allow me to use the scanner, then I get a 'fatal error' and reference MSI.dot4wrp40. When I look further into the details, I see that the installation has no "windows that install Service could not be accessed. MSIInstall failure of 1603.

Since then I unplugged the device, run the uninstall_L2 and the uninstall_L3 from the ccc directory. Looking for a hpzsetup.exe.txt to rename (not found), looked for the two files (another article on the forums) and those not found. I applied the patch from HP for the upgrade of Vista and run it with no visible effect, I found a file called twainfix.exe and run that, once more with no visible effect. I am full of ideas.

Just to close this thread. I contacted HP Support andthey suggests stuff that I had already tried. However, I noticed that my system was not updated Office Service Pack 1. Windows Update failed to apply the service pack. I downloaded Office 2007 SP2 and installed myself. This installation has failed, but when I started the software, it says that it's SP2. I ran Windows Update again, and she observes a load more fixes for Office 2007. I got him to do the updates and failures. However, I "tried again" and suddenly they were gone, as if it was assigned and when I ran Windows Update again, there was nothing to apply. Everything has been installed.

    ColleenSchake,

Cancel the registration and re - register the Windows Installer and check if it helps.

    1. Click Start, run, type "MSIEXEC /Unregister." without the quotes and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing happens, or you can briefly see an hourglass.
    2. Click Start, run, type "MSIEXEC/REGSERVER" without the quotes and then click OK. After you run this command, the operation is complete.
    3. Try to install the program and check if the problem persists.

Arthur Xie has a good suggestion of the error: fatal error during installation-1603 screw it to TechNet Windows 7 Pro forums.

  • All-in-One D110A Series: series D110a, fatal error installation problems

Before our son using this printer at the school, he worked well at home for years.

I am tired of the to put back, thinking it was already installed on my laptop, and all I needed to do is etup the wireless.

Something went wrong when setting up wireless, someone walked the table and pulled off the printer power cord.

Anyway, after that I could never set up the wireless, even after coming back to the default settings. I tried to uninstall all traces of the printer on the laptop and more. Now, I don't remember using a disk to set up a few years previously, only connect the cable USB and passing away.

When you try this I get some of the elements of lines installed, but three lines who say Photosmart series would come to say no driver found. I tried to download the driver software manually, NG.

Today, I just tried to use the hppiw.exe, the installation wizard, everything seems ok then I get a fatal error during Installation.

Clicked by the guests, he even said at one point, a solution has been found, he did a report error report collection before that. Now, shows the following:

Fatal error during Installation (no joke)

Error 1935. an error occurred during the installation Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT, processor architecture = '86', publicKeyToken = "1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b", version = "8.0.50727.91", type = "win32". See Help and Support for more information. Then he said: go to the HP Support for troubleshooting on Fatal error and MSI. Scan.

Fact some digging, checked I have a high end version of MS Installer (V.5.0.7601.18896).

    Any help will be appreciated.

If you don't see anything except a new line will appear to type, you've successfully entered the correct line. Now:

  • HP Support Assistant fatal error 1603

I have a 2 week old Envy 15-j151sa. This morning I noticed that an icon for HP Support Assistant had appeared on my desk, it did not exist before. I thought that maybe he had updated itself so I clicked on the icon, but as soon as he tried to open it it crashed. The message says "Error 1316 HP Support Assistant. The specified account already exists. Then followed another message "1603 Fatal error during installation". Windows Installer Help, msi.chm or MSDN for more information "then finally,-3.

I tried to uninstall HPSA and re-setup, by using SP68201, but I just get everything above. That means "the specified account already exists." What account is this?

    Thanks for any help.

Ok. I had sorted it. I used a Microsoft Fixit, uninstall and install Fixit. That allowed me to remove the offending are based of HPSA. Then, I was able to install the last sp68201.

  • VBAI 2010 Fatal Error (NaN to the number)

I get a fatal error (banner image see attached) that I've never seen before in VBAI 2010: NaN A value at a stage of Calculator gets interpreted as a large negative number (-2.14E + 9) in a region of interest later stage creation, which in turn causes the subsequent automatic contour trigger the fatal event.

The cause, in this case, is a missing measure (an occurrence common for this and other similar calculator steps in this routine), the coordinate x of an endpoint of edge in the previous step, where I subtracted a 2, that is, I'm trying to set a limit KING 2 pixels away from the previous edge found.  In general, when I have a missing measure in this situation, the KING subsquent ends at the origin of the image (0,0), but VBAI not fall down.

I fully undestand why VBAI crashes with an edge KING listed so far has "Left Field", but I am at a loss to explain why a NaN output get caclulator is interpreted as - 2.14E + 9.  Glancing through the routine in Setup mode and changes the step create region of interest, a message indicates that a "missing measurement is replaced by a constant" or something to that effect and the constant turns out to be - 2.14E + 9, so I guess that this process happens in the background when it is in mode of inspection.  What I don't understand is why my routine never threw this error before when the measure was absent, but since this morning, it throws the error every time!

I have a temporary work-around (verification of the NaN in the step of the calculator and strength to zero if necessary), but I have a lot of similar sequences to fix and want to make sure that I understand why this fatal error is suddenly appeared.

    Any ideas appreciated,

    Eric

It's fixed in VBAI 2011 and newer. He will plant is no longer with the VDM dll updated and VBAI, if a previous measure used by the step of ROI is NaN, KING step will treat it as a missing measure and return on investment stage will fail. NaN is cast to many is because NaN is valid for values to double, and the KING coordinates are integers, so when convert us internally the NaN in full, it is interpreted as a large number. Not sure why it would just start happening today though.

    Hope this helps,

    Brad

  • PhotoSmart C6280 - fatal error during Installation

I have Win 7 (64-bit) system and can not install the software for my C6280 all-in-One Printer.  I get a message "Fatal error during Installation" and then the software tries to uninstall.  During this process, a reboot is required and then the software tries to install again and it fails.  I'm in a circle without end of the installation-uninstall-install-uninstall...

How to do this?  I want to uninstall completely all the software associated with this printer and then start over from the beginning.

The issue that brought this situation was that I was getting the following message is displayed when starting:

"There was a problem starting C:\users\Myron\AppData\Local\IsolatedStorage\HP\zelqof.dll.

The specified module could not be found. »

I guess the missing module would settle if I re - install all software associated with the printer as it is ONLY connected printer (USB) to the PC.

    Hello BigDog5280,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with a loop uninstall/reinstall the software and drivers.

If you have Norton 360 installed, please disable it and restart the computer.  When the computer is back on, try to reinstall with Norton 360 always off.

Here is a link to a document that is on a Fatal Error ' error 1603. A fatal error occurred during installation "(MSI erreur 1603) poster in HP Software Installation in Windows "

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, please click here: click here.
