  d. in the "Open" box type "msiexec/regserver" and then press ENTER.

  Cancel the registration and re - register the Windows Installer and check if it helps.

  1. Click Start, run, type "MSIEXEC /Unregister." without the quotes and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing happens, or you can briefly see an hourglass.

  Fatal error ' error 1603. A fatal error occurred during installation "(MSI error 1603) displays in HP Software Installation in Windows

  First step: clear temp directory

  1. Type %temp% term or search programs and files of field
  2. Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).
  3. Proceed to step 2 below

  Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

  1 download the drivers and full software features

  2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

  7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

  9 open the Util folder

  10 open the CCC folder

  11 start the uninstall_L4

  12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

  14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

• Two Pavilion computers: HP Support Assistant Server error

  Two Windows 10 machines fully patched and works perfectly.  It is three months, the other four months old and up to date to win 10 version 1511.  HP Support Assistant worked very right up until two or three days ago.

  On both machines, if I check the version of product updates, HPSA scans for a minute or two and then warns the following-'server connectivity issues were found.  Please try again later. "If I have HPSA will search for messages and updates, nothing happens except that the analysis runs and runs indefinitely.  If you stop the scan, closed HPSA but then re - will not open unless the computer is restarted.

  HP may have a server problem, judging by some of the other jobs on HPSA and scanning.  However, this type of problem has developed before (years), and that could be a problem of jamming one of the newest latest updates Windows or Windows Defender antivirus definitions.

  I haven't the time to uninstall the updates to solve problems.  I leave alone HPSA and see if that sorts it.  If this isn't the case, HPSA can always be uninstalled.  You can get updates from the driver through Device Manager.

  Very busy at work.  I'll check in a few days to see if someone has something new to report.

  Just ran Support Assistant on two pavilions.  Connected to the server to check updates and device updates and messages.  Worked well.  In my case, the question seems to have been resolved - to that for now.

• HP C7280 Win7 installation fatal error 1603

  Hello

  I have read almost all the message related to a fatal error and applied the proposed one solution but none of them helped and same error still exist.

  Please see the details of the error message. I've attached a screenshot of the error message that I couldn't copy and paste to Notepad.

  (1) operating system: Win7 32 Bit - parameters of language & country: Turkey & TR I have also changed in English & EN then applied the steps of the proposed solution. But nothings changed.

  (2) I tried to install two USB Wifi & connected. But again the same error still exist.

  (3) after the fatal error, system installation restore leaves nothing in the programs. However, I used the "HP all-in - One Series Web Release Uninstaller" completely residues of installation of cleaning, then re - start and try to re - install, but still the same error appeared.

  In short, I did my best and all possible/proposed solutions in the forums, google search etc and I m hoping that experts from HP in this forum can my fix this annoying problem.

  After experiencing this annoying problem finally I solved the problem.  The problem is related to Windowsfirewall.

  During installation even I have disabled the windows firewall that she always felt this fatal error. Therefore, instead of disabling the firewall, I simply added the setup.exe in the installation package using 'allow a program through windows firewall option. Then started the installation and the wolaaa. Installation went silently without any error

  I hope that this solution works for everyone suffers fatal error messages.

  Because the Version of Intellipoint/intellitype 8.0 was released. But 7.1 worked for me that I got from the site "Filehippo", while the version that I got from Microsoft did not... go figure.

  I know what you mean by not support great tech in India blamed it on your computer and want to make you a complete reformat. I've built enough to know, the mouse/keyboard driver installation has nothing to do with the way in which your operating system is the platform running. His buggy installation package against MS.

  But yes, just download and save the drivers of Filehippo as your desktop and then install the and you should be good to go, I am now.

  I suggest also that once you have installed and they work to your liking, copy the files on a disk or USB stick for later... just in case the loss. (you know sooner or later its limit to happen).

  Unless you still have the installer, download the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the page on the link below - download links are to the bottom of the page - and Save the installer to your download folder.

  Then, if you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip.  Please note that If you have a 64-bit installation, download and install the Installer x 64 64-bit .msi on the link below.

  Then, right click on the HPSA installer you download earlier, select Extract 7 - Zip, select the files, and then click Ok.  The newly extracted folder, right-click on UninstallHPTCA and select "Run as Administrator" - you may well see no progress of this attempt uninstalling, then leave the laptop at idle for a good 10 minutes before restarting it.

  When Windows has completely recharged, run Microsoft 'Fixit' on the link below again before trying to install the new version of HPSA...

  Dv6915nr Pavilion, Vista 32 tried loading HP Support Assistant, had "Error 1316. "A network error has occurred when trying read from the file C:\Windows\Installer\HP Library.msi to support Active" (after the restoration, the file does not exist)

  This machine also refusing a BIOS update, emphasizing the Admin rights, even if I was logged in as administrator and run the program with "Run as Administrator".  I can't access the BIOS screens during startup. Is this machine a case hopeless?
