• Mail: Sent to the mailbox for a single account keeps endangered - solution?

  Changed an old POP account on an IMAP account. All the server parameters are supplier; prefs are set to keep receipts and sent emails on the server forever.

  When I added the IMAP mail (after removal of the POP version) account, the Inbox has well migrated from the server. The box sent, maintains however, disappear. It was never populated from the server (I assume) because it was never added to the list of the other sent mailbox. I can make it appear by sending an e-mail from this account, but it disappears again within seconds or ost a minute or two.

  Any suggestions on fow to solve this problem, or at least fix this?

  Just noticed that the Recycle Bin for this account has the same behavior which disappears.

  

• Original photos keep endangered...

  I collect digital images. I use the same procedure each time. Save the image in a collection on my drive folder, drag the image to the photo files (previously with iPhoto which never presented me with no problem). Once the files are displayed in the Photo.photoslibrary (which UNFORTUNATELY, you can not see what files it except Photos is open) I then delete the files in the folder of the collection assuming that they are now in the library. Most of the time it works always, but occationally when you try to open an image, I get:

My library files are huge, so I have to buy a good amount of space to keep them in the cloud AND I got Pages AND files numbers disappear icloud (not recently, but I always wear fear).

  Looks like you have unchecked the preference of pictures to copy items imported into the library of Photos - if you have it is why you have this problem - unchecking that is strongly discouraged, but if you do, you must always ensure that the original photos are always available at the original location - they can not be removed and the path to them can never changes

  Even if my favicon 32 x 32. PNG is loaded on each page of the site and added to download files it often does not display, no idea why?

  The two sites using a third party widget which inserts a definition "icon" in conflict with an associated image 520 x 520 in the first and 518 x 518 in the second, rather than the 128 x 128 specified by the code. I hope that if you remove this widget from third the favicon will begin to work.

  I install my extensions. They are always installed because I see some of them below the toolbar. But when I go to tools-> Modules-> Extensions it says I have one installed.   Do you use any utility, protection of personal information or security software that cleans the browser settings? Examples of programs that sometimes change or replace files in the Firefox profile folders: CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare.

  You can also back up files to a place safe once you have finished to approve extensions for easier restoration next time.

  This appears to have happened after that I loaded Firefox was last updated. The buttons will be there for a while, but then when I go to some sites, they seem to disappear, and the only way I can minimize the window is to stop smoking completely Firefox, which, of course, is extremely annoying and time consuming.

  For the last 2 weeks, probably since the last update, Firefox saves my tabs only some of the time. I don't know if this is what makes the difference, but it is possible that if I put my computer to sleep for the night, the tabs are morning and if I turned off my computer and it reboot the morning, Firefox starts a new session and will not restore the tabs.

  I need to rely on the tabs saved because these are my reminders for work I have to do. I can't go through the history to find site b/c of the each of the tabs, some remain open for days and I don't know what days and do not have that kind of time. VERY frustrating.

  When I close FF for the night, I click on the red X in the upper right. I use a Samsung Windows 8 machine. I do not speak 'tech' so if anyone can explain step by step what to do that will not cause me to lose any other data that holds my FF, I'd appreciate it.

  Use "Firefox > output" (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing by clicking on the X close in the title bar of Firefox.

• Areas search and keep endangered

  I added some toolbars for Firefox and positioned address areas and research on one of them (from the option "Customize" in the toolbar).

  Most of the time it works very well, but from time to time, they disappear. Sometimes, it's when I open a new tab, but especially there when Firefox starts by themselves. They can be re-installed OK in the "Customize" menu, but it's a nuisance. It also happens on every computer I have that Firefox is installed, so it must be common to Firefox, not the operating system

  I use the latest version of FF, but it began to arrive there are several versions. I also tried to disable modules, but that makes no difference.

  Any ideas why they disappear and I can do something to stop it?

• Cookies keep endangered

  For a while now, I found that my cookies disappeared from Firefox, I think that I did this experiment in versions 7.

  What happens for example as today, I launched Firefox and went to check my Yahoo mail and can see that the login-seal is missing, that tells me that cookies are gone again. If I check the other pages where I have cookies in use, I see also that they are not just there's no effect on Yahoo.

  I found thanks to a post on the web can solve the problem of the closure of Firefox, then raise my profile via % APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ and from my office in the profile folder from "cookies" - (SQLITE file), and then rename the "cookies.sqlite" (BAK rebuild queue), to be 'cookies '. Restart Firefox and everything is resolved.

  When this happens again I move the file 'cookies' from my office in the trash and start over with 'cookies - sqlite file' in the folder profiles.

  Research in the trash, I can see 19 files cookies since September 10, 2011, I think it could have happened before that date, but I deleted these files.

  This problem occurs often, well not everyday, sometimes once a week, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. I thought that it would be resolved but retains the case so thought would raise.

  There is no problem when I run Firefox that is any indication of a problem which could indicate why it continues to be. I have regularly updated of my computer, use win xp sp3, which is updated all plug-ins and extensions are up to date, as far as I know.

  If anyone can tell that this problem does not seem to be going one way.

  Note to all of you who have this problem, I would like to make a backup of your profile or cookies files incase rename that bad, I just do, I renamed the file cookies.sqlite.bak by mistake, yes a little confusing. Fortunately, I had a return of the record profiles of 2 weeks there so not so bad.

  Try to create a new profile and use it for some time see if solves the problem. If so, you might want to move bookmarks, history, and other data on the new profile. Skip moving on cookies.sqlite.

• The files in My Network Places keep endangered

  Our 5 and 1 server systems are hard wire networked. 6 all units are under XP something. I'm running Pro. Several months ago I have had to open my network places, and then went to the other room to get a number of drawing I got on the server. When I returned, the MNP window was still open, but all the icons disappeared. Nothing but white was left in their place. I tried opening and closing the window a couple of times which didn't help, then I rebooted a couple times and that didn't help either. About an hour later, I opened MNP again and the connection that I had needed was the only link that came. After a bit, I closed the window of the MNP and reopened. This time 3 icons came. At the end of the day, everything was back to normal. Maybe twice since not all icons will present, but everything would be back to normal very soon. This morning, I had windows of the NPM to open, had one of the connections open and worked in one of the folders when simply disappeared. No one else here seems to be affected by this problem. Suggestions, ideas or comments that all care to provide everything that can happen and of course suggestions for corrective actions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.
