Favorite endangered contacts.

Whenever I try to add a contact to my list of favorites on my Dext, I can see the synchronization with Motoblur phone, and almost immediately the contact disappears from my list of favorites. I currently have 2 people on my list of favorites. How they became Favorites, I don't know, but I know that I can not add to them.

I've seen this question come up in this forum before but the person who raised it came back and said that he had straightened himself somehow there is no answer as such. I would be grateful for any help. My phone is up to date and I am on Orange in the United Kingdom if that's any help.

Looks like you're on the old software. There was an update.

Menu > settings > about phone > system updates

Make sure you have time and have full battery.

Let me know if you still see this problem after the software update.

You want to copy your bookmarks from Firefox on favorite Edge? I found a few articles about how Edge can import from other browsers:

I can't test these steps myself. They work for you?

For contacts, Firefox isn't local storage, the data must be on the site where you get your email (for example, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) and should be available in all browsers.

  • Favorite contacts on WatchOS3 do not synchronize with the iPhone?

I have a Apple Watch series 1 running an iPhone 6 more and Watchos3 with ios10. When changing my favorites in contacts on my phone it does not evolve on the Apple Watch. I looked in the app shows on the iPhone and that you won't find anywhere hand to change either.

    Hello

It can help restore your sync data:

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go: Watch My (tab) > general > reset > tap reset sync data.
    • The process runs in the background (invisible to you), allow a minute or two later.

To clarify, series 1 does not refer to your existing, first generation watch. He referred to a new Apple Watch model that has the same characteristics as the original Apple Watch, with the exception of a new dual core processor.

There is no setting for their re help.

Close the phone application, press the "home" button twice and close completely out of the app.

Then perform a reset, without loss of data.  Press and hold home/sleep set button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the boot device upward.

    Then, check back phone application.

  • Favorite contacts (how to delete call County)

Someone make me on how to do to clear these circles of blue call County under 'Favorites' in Contacts? I saw the movie. Thanks in advance.

Too bad... I'm just stupid. These circles proved speed dial numbers.

  • Why my favorites list has been removed from the iPhone?

iPhone 6 s + granted several months "Favorites" list of contacts (~ 10-12) placed. Good work, then on the recent trip abroad, I kept cellular function off for several weeks. In return, did "update to the carrier settings" as requested by message (Verizon). The list of 'Favorites' of contacts disappeared. Not sure if it was the case before the 'carrier settings update' or not, I'm not a heavy user of cell phone. The ads remain in the General contacts list. I have not yet authorized the latest IOS update. Before I go through the replacement of the list, I want to know how to prevent its loss again.

I can't say I've never seen that happen before. However, strange things happen. I usually write off foreigners or cosmic rays. An update of the carrier should not have deleted your Favorites.

As I do not think that it will be possible to know why it happened in the first place, it probably won't tell you how to do it will never happen. But, as I said, it is certainly not a common problem. If it were me, I would not spend a lot of mental energy to worry about this.

    Good luck.

  • Questions about Flipout contacts

The manual on the FlipOut is limited. When you select a contact, which is the star on the far right for? If you touch it, it turn red?

Once again, on the contact page, top right there are 3 circles. Usually the central circle is lit with the text on the left side by saying something like "A - z: contacts.» A guide says you can 'flick' who left or right. Will not do anything here. I wonder the cause once I went to contacts and the first circle was turned on and I believe that the text says history and only showed me 2 contacts. The only way that I could go back to have this turned on central circle was to power down the MB511.

It is the star of "favoriting" a contact. Once you star a contact, he / she will appear in your Favorites list.

With regard to the points - they resemble points at the bottom of a hoem screen when you change screens. They let you know what display contact you on.

    • The default (in the middle) one is a list of all your contacts.
    • The left one shows the recent history with your contacts, such as texts, emails and facebook messages.
    • The right one shows all of the latest status of your contacts from facebook (possibly also tweets, but I don't use twitter).

Not sure what the problem with the flick is for you. You don't need to go very fast. Even just a slip of the finger slowly on the screen should change its point of view.

  • How to cancel favorite strung call default behavior?

I prefer to use ContactWidget by Mr. Ahn for contacts widgets on my home screens. I put one to "remember this setting" to the text a particular phone number. So do also set the default calling behavior, which does not want to do. I did some research online and each recommended solution does not work on our phone model. Some have suggested "clear defaults" in manage applications. This option is grayed out for all the applications that you would think that you should try. Others mention that there is a setting for each particular contact... not on our phone. The ContactWidget App behavior seems to follow the setting that is configured for a contact on the Favorites screen. If you click on a favorite that has more than one phone number, when you touch the phone icon, he invites you to select the number you want to call. At the bottom is an option, "Remember this setting." How a cancel, 'remember this setting?

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Russ

I fixed it by removing the contact from my exchange account and add them. I've accomplished by dragging to the desktop on my PC and drag to my contacts in Outlook so you don't lose any info. Now the favorite and contact on the home screen widget asking what number to call. I put only the default for two contacts, so it wasn't a big deal of difficulty with this method. However if more it would have put a pain.

It is fixed, but there must be a better way!

  • Last software update - 10.0.1

Updated software sent over the network to my phone today is too much, and now my phone became unresponsive to click on options, i.e., Favorites, Recents, Contacts, keypad, voicemail.  Sounds have changed, Facebook Messenger messages have changed, how I get to my password has been changed; What else could go wrong with this update and then I go back to the previous?

"Sounds have changed...". ».  Yes, it happened in the iOS 10.

In any case, the elements you mention that sound like defects may well be through storage of your iPhone being too full.

Check the settings > general > storage & use iCloud > Storage manage and be certain that you have absolutely no less (and hopefully a lot more) 10% of total storage of your iPhone free.

  • Can I block calls with CALLER I.D. No.?

I had a blocked number which mentions the name of name of people. This person has changed their account to a private number. Now, when that person calls, they can get through because the call comes under: No. CALLER I.D. I was not able to block using the normal method. Is there a way to block this type of call?

Yes, you can switch not disturb on calls that are not in your Contacts list.

    See below:

Configure not disturb. Go to settings > do not disturb.

You can quiet schedule, allow the calls from your Favorites or contact groups and allow repeated calls to ring through these emergency situations. You can also set so not to disturb silence iPhone only when it is locked, or even when it is unlocked.

If the above does not work, you must work with your cellular provider if they offer other options.

  • When apple will make a watch with a sim function?

I hope that apple sees this post!

I desperately need a watch that I can call from emergency if my phone got stolen or was not there at the time.

I like the comfort of being able to give to someone that I trust my iCloud snack password I have never disappeared in the hope that they might have a chance to find me if my watch is always with me.

IM certainly not a child to get one of these SIM followed watches for children isn't really an option for me, so I really need in my Apple Watch.

Im just a cute girl who dominates all security measures, so it is very important to me, I love my apple products, but I'm starting to think I should look elsewhere as androids if Apple does not put the sim card option in the watch soon

I have already the first Apple Watch with all my favorite emergency contacts and the police on speed dial, but it is often useless because I don't always have my phone with me 24/7

  • When I use Firefox, I can't stay connected to Comcast or by e-mail.

I prefer to use Firefox as my browser. For the last two weeks, I was not able to stay connected to Comcast and e-mail. I connect when I start the computer. If I leave the computer for a period of time, the screen saver comes on. When I come back, I have to reconnect. I am able to stay connected with IE, but I prefer to stay with Firefox as my favorites and contacts are stored here. I had Comcast technicians working on this problem without success. I deleted Firefox and reinstalled. I erased my historical cache and connected with Keep me signed to checked. Nothing seems to work.
