• Receiver fake spam on Thunderbird myself.

  Turned on my computer at work and I get an avalanche of spam from my own email every minute Thunderbird checks for new emails. Each message is titled "MyFax message 'unknown' from - 3 page (s)" with at: [email protected]. It doesn't make sense as to why I get these emails if To: address is not my address and From: address is my address. I don't know what else I have avast home edition and wtf.

  I created for a filter to delete messages with when: is [email protected]. I also don't see anything extraordinary in the Task Manager.

  It is likely that someone is just abusing your email address and send to any e-mail in your name. If there is no such thing as the Envoy to address then the mail is not delivered and you get a message Mailor Daemon. This will probably be the first of what happens, you will know.

  What to do:
  Do not respond to one of these emails - delete them.
  Add your own personal signature to your emails and send an email to all your friends saying that someone was abusing your email address. Tell them that real e-mails on your part will always be the special signature, as shown in this e-mail. Apologize for any inconvenience and then always use the signature in your emails.

  Finally, they give up and stop using it especially if they do not get people responding.
  Make sure that you do not show your email address in forums etc. Tell friends and family to never send or e-mails to other people that contain your e-mail address - ask them to remove email address if transmission. People tend to 'humorous' of other friends email transmission without removing all e-mail addresses before you send, and you do not know where are these emails.

  My printer prints a few spam abot information at irregular intervals. I can't understand how to block that.

  It's not no fax activity - I found the place to inspect that. So I suspect that the printer email address is used, but how do I see activity from that? And how do I block a sender of some?

  The trick is to control the 'senders list' - give permission instead of having to hold a zillion line list of people you want to send your printer e-spam.

  Assuming that you also have this printer a firewall (router) and you have access wireless to your protected network (WPA2), then you can eliminate most of the infiltration of such problems.

• Since the upgrade to Sierra, Mail will not recognize or filter spam

  I'm having the problem where almost nothing goes in my junk e-mail folder. I rechecked my mail spam filtering preferences and I have it configured to enable filtering and move the Junk to junk e-mail folder. Those are the only two boxes checked. That the mail comes, I have systematically report as junk, but no matter how many times I do that junk mail is still not reported as spam in the future, nor is it place in my spam box. I really don't know what to do at this point.

  RE-INDEX YOUR SPOTLIGHT CACHE FILES

  In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.

  * Click on the projector.

  Make this mail and Messages is enabled on the results tab of research.

  * Click on the Privacy tab.

  * Drag your player to the list. Wait a few minutes.

  * Remove the item you added.

  * Projector will be re - index the content of the element that you initially dragged to the list.

  Begin the recovery disk by pressing command + R during restart.

  Open disk utility and run first aid for your Macintosh HD (internal) and volumes given by you.

  You mark the emails as being not junk?

  If the emails are not grey/navy/red, then your email provider may have marked them as spam, which would explain why the not junk option is not there. Try to go to the e-mail provider's website to see if you can adjust the junk e-mail settings there.

  Are the emails sent in bulk, or are they sent periodically to the various emails at different times?

  If you have a different e-mail Client, I would say you switch to that and see if the problem persists.

  A start would be to never respond at all to any spam message. This shows them that they have a connection online while no response means that it's not alive.

  Do not install or run an anti virus app.

  How do you know that your email has been "hacked"? It is a common practice for spammers to forge an envoy from the e-mail address. It may be that your email address has been misused. There's nothing to do if this is the case for you. The spammer will soon pass and usurp another email address.

  It's a good idea to immediately change your password by email if someone would actually managed to access your e-mail account.

  I usually use the Google Chrome browser and never get any spam in my AOL mailbox. However, anytime I am in Safari for some reason, I start getting * spam arriving in my AOL mailbox, but also other detritus such as phishing e-mails.  I have everything in place in Safari, but the problem persists.  Anyone have the same problem or have any ideas as to why this happens with Safari?  Thank you in advance.

  me once again.  I don't know why the word p o r o n has been deleted!  I was not posting something nasty - just describing the type of spam that I get whenever I walked in Safari.  BTW, I use a MacBook Pro that has the el capitan on this software.
