  If you are depending on the modules that come with security programs, stick with Firefox versions and then wait a week or ten days after Mozilla releases a new version of Firefox to install the new version of Firefox. This should give the people who created your security program some time to fix what they need to fix with their Firefox modules.

  Some of these security program providers are better than others with regard to the speed at which they update their Firefox Add-ons. Used to be among the worst in terms of the speed of their updates of Norton, with Firefox 3.6 and 4.0 it took them 8 weeks and then 6 weeks to have their Firefox Add-ons ready for their Firefox using clients. With the two latest versions of Firefox, Norton had a patch ready with their ready Add-ons Firefox update day, that Mozilla has released the two Firefox 5 and then Firefox 6versions 6-21 and 8-16.

  These companies have no valid reason for not having their stuff ready to their customers when Mozilla releases a new version of Firefox.   I recently updated my Indian version of 5.1 for the commercial version (pure edition) is running 5.1 for over 3 weeks now. System works smoothly. But when I go to the data connection my Google network play services takes a lot of my battery and reachs high my stats from the battery. The WiFi it works fine is only when the network data when I'm out Google services take up a lot of battery.
  I want to know your comments of others Indians on 5.1?

  Is this the final construction for Indian version or is it a different future official OTA for the users of the Indians?

  I had the same problem. But its been there since 5.0. This is a known on the forums of google bug and is supposed to be addressed by google, not motorola. I agree that the system is really smooth and much more improved! No memory leaks or accidents of the application of any kind.

  Only sometimes I have drops of 10% battery when the phone is idle. Tried a reset, cleared the cache and also calibration, but all in vain.

  I just got a new laptop and installed all the products NOR including TestStand I had in my old laptop. Using the same deployment file I had on the old laptop, I run the deployment utility and get the following errors.  What I am doing wrong? :

  I found more information about your error code.

  When you generate a deployment, you have the option to cache information about the installation additional programs that include you in your deployment, if you do not have to insert the disc every time.  This error code means that the deployment utility is looking for cached information to add to your additional installers, but it is not.  Clear all your records of cache (C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\ProductCache or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\MDF\ProductCache) and build again.  The deployment utility must ask any disk must be added to the installer, and it will create a new cache.

  Try to add the following to your LabVIEW.ini file token:

  I thought that Labview has been able to differentiate between the functions of the different instrument drivers, but apparently it does not.

  LabVIEW is creating in the final construction of a few directories of the instrument with the VI inside.

  Inside of my sweet, I am loading a few screws in memory (with reference) before launching the main façade, this is why I put this VI as always included in the source files for the build.

  If I'm deleting the VI with all instruments used inside drivers, Labview makes no more directories, but I can't start my sweet too...

  We had this problem before with Labview (8.2, 8.2.1, 8.5). Are there clues?

  If the debugColor is something that u don't want to appear on your final application, you should delete it. This is not a real like trace function debugging feature that gets ignored on the final construction. The debugColor property is one uses graphics software and draws a real line around your containers. So if you don't, remove the line. Hope that sheds some light. Good luck!

  The answer to your last question is no, it does not work like that. The final construction must be configured and optimized for the target platform.

  What you need to do is put a little thought into the design of your project so that you can split your shared code that is platform-dependent code. Shared code would go in a separate and is library project used by your main application.

  Some time ago I wrote a vi file that performs the following operations:

  As a first step, it initializes a camera and chooses a region of interest (ROI). Data on the return on investment will be eliminated.

  The Source is in 2011.  I see an opportunity and a potential work around certain things to try.

  This happened earlier. CVI 7.1.1 and earlier versions than 8.0.1 (i.e. + 8.1.1) work.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  It turns out there are two different problems that arise in the CVI 8.0 distribution builds when you CVI 2009 or newer installed:

  1. Support for ActiveX container will not be included if you install the runtime in the application directory, or if you're not going under the grouping of LabWindows/CVI Run-Time Engine. In these cases, the ActiveX container merge module should be used and ICB 8.0 won't be able to find it.
  
  
  2. The merge module Instrument Driver Run-Time (instrsup.msm) and the Mesa merge module (NIMesaDLL.msm) cannot be moved to the application directory (which is the option on the Advanced tab that I mentioned in the previous post). This will result in the construction of distribution fails with the error you reported.

  To solve the first problem, I recommend the copy of C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\ActiveX_Container.msm and rename the copy with a space instead of a line of underscore ("ActiveX Container.msm").

  The second question has no easy workaround. If acceptable for your use case, I would say either making the performance overall installation (by unchecking the option in the Advanced tab) or removing the CVI build runtime of your distribution. In the latter case, your application would be based on an already mounted overall CVI runtime engine.

  If any of those who will work for you, I can get you copies of pre-2009 instrsup.msm and NIMesaDLL.msm that you would have to manually exchange and out with versions in your common Files\Merge Modules directory whenever you have need to build this distribution in CVI 8.0.

  I am sorry for these questions. Let me know if you need these older modules.

• RT construction specifications: category of component definition does not

  I use LabVIEW 2013 SP1 f2, with real-time 13.0.1

  When I open the properties page of a build specification Application in real-time (to run on a cRIO-9075) and select the category of component definition, I find that the following occur:

  -LabVIEW unresponsive and think for a while. It takes about 20-30 seconds to finally display the component definition page.

  -When I click on create a component definition file (.cdf), nothing happens. As I write this, I see 'required software components', and then they are grayed out: "The software component Description" and "Software version" - but there is nothing to choose or change?

  -If I click on another category, it takes in the order of 20 seconds to finally see the establishment of this category.

  -To close the build specification (press OK), it also takes a long time (more than 60 seconds).

  -Things are fine with the construction specifications if I ever fall into the category of component definition.

  Everyone knows this?
