features lost when reinstalling windows 7 ultimate?

During my first installation of windows 7, he had this thing like organizing on the desktop. It has different subjects and the subjects had shortcuts to my programs. It would be like "microsoft office" and when I clicked on tiny shortcuts seems that has forged ties to Word, PowerPoint, etc. I recently had to pass on my hard drive to a new because it was a failure and I just reinstalled windows 7 and I can't get it back. I don't know what it's called, but it's kind of similar to ObjectDock if you know what it is. I was wondering if anyone knows what his name and how can I get it back? Note: it is not a gimmick.

I ended up calling dell today because I realized other things are missing, and they helped me to find out what it was called. It is called dell dock. It is therefore useful if you haven't already you should watch it upward and install it! but thanks for trying to help me!

  • After you have reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate error isn't real OS?

I had to completely erase my laptop HD and reinstall WIndows 7 Ultimate from my OEM copy. But he said that it is not authentic. What is even more strange is that he made two months after I installed it, which is zero logic. And it is certainly an authentic copy, I still have the receipt from the store that I bought it to prove! So someone please tell me how we can solve this problem.

exactly told the rep of activation you?

I begin to suspect that you had previously installed on another computer. Note that an OEM license is valid only on the first computer, it has been installed on and cannot be transferred to another computer.
An OEM license can be installed on the same card mother as many times as you want but are not valid on another computer.

  • My laptop was stolen and I want to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop repalcement

    Hello

When I bought my Dell E6400 downgrade 3 years ago, it came with Vista Pro and XP Pro. But soon after that Windows 7 is out, I bought the ultimate version to upgrade my experience.

Last week, my laptop was stolen and I'm about to buy a laptop replacement, but almost none noticed come with Ultimate.

You can disable or update my old Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop to get barr? (I understand, it is impossible to find the laptop, which is a shame considering Mac have this feature).

So, how I'll be able to reinstall my old Windows 7 & on my new laptop? Do you issue me with a new license key?

    Thanks in advance

    Andrew

You cannot reinstall your Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade because you have lost the software, it can be upgraded. You should look at your insurance coverage, assuming he was insured and claim the cost of the upgrade to Windows 7 as part of your loss.

Your ideas on disabling are a chimera. This will never happen.

    Hello

    There is NO vista 7

There is vista or windows 7 operating system

    they are different operating systems

    your question is confusing

    the header:

    "to reinstall windows 7."

    the body of the message;

    "Reinstall Vista ultimate.

These are forums for more information of vista vista:

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/

Contact sony and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

or borrow a microsoft dvd vista

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • Lost my disc Windows 7 Ultimate and have to re - activate. Can Microsoft support it look for me?

I lost my CD of Windows 7 Ultimate and my motherboard got fried by a wave when lightning strikes near my house.    After a new motherboard, processor and installed memory, she asks me to turn it back on and I don't have the key.  As I have previously activated this product, Microsoft cannot pick up and tell me what it is?  I wouldn't buy a license just because I lost the drive, should I?  Isn't that part of the reason why we register and activate in the first place?  I can't afford to buy it again!

    Any suggestions?

  • Need to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate but only have Windows 7 Home Premium

I upgraded to 7 ultimate on a moth ago, but then my hard drive went out, my new hard drive had home premium, when I contacted microsoft to get my ultimate reassembled, they sent me to Omnitechsupport, which went to charge me $ 140,00 to reinstall, and then they keep telling me that they cannot do without a flash drive , or they need of my confirmation e-mail, even if I gave them my Microsoft customer number which clearly shows I paid for the program, I also gave them my old upgrade key, these people are nothing but extort you for more money at every turn and I still haven't got my ultimate reinstalled!

If all you did was change the hard drive, all you need to do was use your Windows 7 Ultimate drive and reinstall Windows 7 on the new drive and reactivate by phone:

I have a Dell Studio 540 (office) and it runs Windows Vista. It doesn't start and has been giving me these weird error as no device detected start and stuff like that. I contacted Dell and they sent me a disk so I can reinstall Windows Vista (and Yes, the drive is geniune). When I turned it on I pressed F12 and pressed to boot from the CD/DVD drive. It is now installing, but he's been stuck on the 'files 0% expansion' for an hour now. Is this normal? If this is not the case, what should I do about it? : The disk I/o is not dirty or anything because I just pulled out of the sealed CD cover

  • Reinstalling windows 7 ultimate retail after changing the SSD, the motherboard and the processor. I'm having a problem with the reactivation?

I'll upgrade my desktop PC, by changing the motherboard, processor and SSD drive with the OS on it to boot. I have a problem with the reactivation of windows, and should I turn it off, somehow first, or the previous version will be considered as-enabled automatically? It is a retail, windows 7 64 ultimate version. Please advise, thanks in advance.

    Just reactivate by phone:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/950929/en-us

Remember, if it is a retail upgrade license:

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

You can skip to enter the product key and try the activation of the phone to work around this problem.

  • Reinstall windows 7 ultimate SP1... serial key / Liscense problem

    Hello

I have windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 and original liscense and serial for her key. I used a software (7TOKEN backup serial key MANAGER). But when I installed the new windows 7 Ultimate SP1 it will not work. I don't know how to activate my windows by using the same key. my laptop is same and OS version is even too

Thanks a lot in this regard.

    Looking forward to your email

    Concerning

    GOMES

    Your installation is not genuine.

You have a valid OEM_SLP key only for the installation of Windows 7 maker - your machine was manufactured before the release of Win7.

The key comes from an Alienware computer - your computer is a Toshiba.

You will need to reformat and rInstaller helps real media and key - you obviously used a recovery Alienware for this installation disc.

Is that the key you are trying to register end with TCVBD?

If Yes, then all of this is false.
