    Hello

I use Lightroom 2015.6 on W 10 64-bit with JPEG and RAW of Nikon, Lumix Panasonic. I do not import the mp4. When you start Lightroom I get recently "dynamic linkMedia Server met in error. (..-..-Src-DirectoryRegistry.cpp - 2 & 3). »

LR continues to operate after you have clicked on the "OK" button on the message. Export / import in a new catalog also helps him nothing, any saved copies of catalogues also initiate the message. That start with an empty catalog does not generate the message, but after you import images only 2, the message comes back. Reinstall after uninstall with the special tool provided by Adobe does not work. Also rename the 'Préférences' folder shows no advantage.

In Google, there are dozens of desperate questions, but never a successful response.  Before asking here, I've already tinkered for hours and hours. Also, I had two cats with Adobe - no cuccess

Is the message of a risk and how do I get rid of him?

    Best regards, Thomas

Make sure you have read & write permissions defined for the top-level folder and all subfolders here:

    Hi Adobemun,

Seems that your preview cache is corrupt.

You must go to the location where your catalog is stored and get rid of Previews.lrdata (not .lrcat file) then, launch Lightroom and it would recreate the previews itself.

  • disk cleanup does not start 'Microsoft has encountered an error.

I am running Win XP Pro SP3.  I tried to do a disk cleanup.  I tried to go through system tools and also start, run the cleanmgr.  Neither one would go.  I get the standard Microsoft window that says an error has occurred and I would like to send a report.  I tried running malware analysis and restart also. Any ideas?

I'm sorry, that I couldn't find useful on this topic.  For the most part, the suggestion is either give up and download/install Ccleaner or to extract a new copy of cleanmgr.exe.  The latter usually does not have contributed.

CCleaner is a good utility, but if you go this route, do not use record cleaning option.

The current version of cleanmgr.exe, which should be located in C:\Windows\system32, is 6.00.2900.5512 that there should be a copy of the same version of the file in C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386.  On my XP Pro system, I have an earlier version 6.0.2900.2180, C:\Windows\$NTServicePackUninstal$ and I have 'the original' in compressed form in C:\i386 (this is the version 6.0.2600.0).

I saw a suggestion of semi-utile troubleshooting in the latest post (LasseA123) here: http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista/789412-disccleanup-will-not-run-2.html note, however, that the problem discussed in this thread was in Vista, and that the two keys under this says LasseA123 caused his problem are not present in XP.  If you follow the suggestion here and actually isolate the problem to one or two subkeys, include this information in the post that I am proposing in the next paragraph.

My only suggestion is to start a new thread, either here, most likely in the Forum of Technet XP3: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/itproxpsp/threads with the subject 'Event 1000 Cleanmgr ID' and focus on the disciplines that you pasted here.  If you try to replace the current copy of the cleanmgr.exe with one or more of the files in the location I mentioned above but still have the problem, include this information in your message as well.

  • Has encountered an error when start gpedit.msc

Group Policy Editor error message appears when I run local:

Has encountered an error while parsing.

    Resouce
' $(string.) IP_Stateless_Autoconfiguration_Limits_State)' referenced in the displayName attribute is not found.

    File C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\tcpip.admx, line 202, column 315

    How to solve this problem?

Group Policy Editor uses ADMX files and looks like at least one of you're corrupt.

The files are usually located here (assuming that Windows is installed in the Windows folder on your C drive):

    C:\windows\policydefinitions

The files are just XML files and how she has been corrupted I have no idea, but they can be replaced.

If you see stuff like this:

Maybe just replace one file is all you need so there is a copy of the file tcpip.admx on my OneDrive:

    https://onedrive.live.com/?ID=A8C24A4BD70DC25C! 107 & cid = A8C24A4BD70DC25C

You may need to take ownership of the current file to replace it, and here's a way to do it:

    http://www.Winhelponline.com/blog/take-ownership-of-file-or-folder/

Before you replace the suspicious file you can rename/copy it somewhere safe 'just in case '.

Note that running sfc/scannow will NOT replace a damaged ADMX file.

    How will I know?

I damaged my file tcpip.admx on purpose to re-create this problem and run sfc/scannow and the corrupted file was not replaced.

If the problem is more common with multiple corruption, there is a way to download install ALL GPE files of

    This link:

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=6243

This download includes all languages and the many files that you don't have on your installation.

Replace your suspicious files in this way is possible, but a little more complicated to get only the stuff that you are really interested, and if I were sufficiently pleased, I might be able to explain it.

  • Problem with sync error: synchronization has encountered an error during synchronization: unknown error. Sync automatically retrying this action.

Hi, I started recently a problem with the sync on my desk. My partner Android and Mac laptop no problems when you attempt to synchronize, but office always gives the same error. I tried to disconnect from the desktop computer, erase all files, restart and then adding the Office to synchronize once more, but the error persists.

All bookmarks on the desktop disappeared, but are still in my sync data and have no problem being viewed on other connected devices. It also tells me that the issue is not the sync server and that there is something unique to the desktop machine.

I hope that this will not require a reinstall, but if all else fails, it's an option. I'll try to attach a log file once I put the question.

I think the error message is in the title of the thread:

Sync has encountered an error during synchronization: unknown error. Sync automatically retrying this action.

Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

    Thank you much xx

    Hi Hopson81,

Try to install the patch by starting the computer in selective startup mode (also known as a clean boot state).

Start your computer in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

For instructions, see How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 .

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

  • Microsoft Digital Image Suite anniversary edition Editor has encountered an error.

Original title: XP SP3/Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition question

I use MS Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition (DISAE) on a Windows XP SP3 computer.  I get this error when I try to open DISAE:

"Microsoft Digital Image Suite anniversary edition Publisher has encountered an error and needs to close."  The error report was not available.  Reinstallation of Microsoft Digital Image Suite anniversary edition Publisher can reactivate the error report feature. »

I tried to change settings in the start menu > right click on my computer > properties > advanced > Error Reporting > disable, enable (checked everything) does not.
I tried to reinstall DISAE nothing works.  I tried to uninstall, reinstall, AND REINSTALL AGAIN without success.
Has anyone ever got this message of particular error and, if so, what have you done about it; so that the DISAE open reliably EVERY TIME?  Thank you.

Hi Ganesh, thanks for trying.  I tried a different approach.  I used a program uninstaller - Revo Uninstaller - completely uninstall MS DISAE, including all registry entries associated with it could find.  Then I reinstalled DISAE.  This seems to have fixed the problem, so maybe it was a registry entry that program uninstaller left behind.

I still don't know why the EULA appears in Japanese characters... but if the program works, I guess it doesn't matter.
Thank you very much for trying to help me solve the problem, and I'm sorry it took so long to reply to your reply.

I am extremely grateful for any help, this problem is about to drive me
    crazy!

    I solved my problem...

To temporarily disable closing kick, after that the warning popup will appear, I went the prompt commands and typed in 'shutdown-a' so I could help out.

Then I went in under the Application Event Viewer and saw that some services weird I don't need anyway did not start because they had missing information/dll registry info.  It was originally the svchost.exe service to fail (and default recovery for this is to reboot)

I stopped the weird service (in this case, it was Hello) because I didn't need anyway, and went into the properties of this service and past earlier in "Manual" "automatic".

    Good luck
