FGV in packed lib cause leakage

Since an update of a project of LV2009 in LV2011 it became a problem.

This is the message we have received:

With the conversion we also converted the LLB used to a LVLIBP.

The problem led us to this LVLIBP and a dynamic call to a FGV in a VI belonged to the LVLIBP.

The error is a bit misleading and strange and always occure around iterations 1.040.000 +

We have stripped the project down for a demonstration project.

  • Windows Vista Service Pack 2 causes the message "Windows install will not be accessible".

I am running Windows Vista with all the updates installed but Service Pack 2. I uninstalled Service Pack 2 because it was causing problems with the windows installation service. I was unable to install microsoft office update because the windows installer could not be accessed, and Adobe Acrobat Reader could not be repaired or updated for the same reason.

With installed Service Pack 2, I traveled all troubleshooting for the windows service install. I have a click with the right button on my computer, manage, service and open the properties of windows install. I have activated the service, but still couldn't install the updates Microsoft office or Adobe Acrobat Reader update/repair. I also tried to configure windows install automatic rather than manual when the computer starts.

I had the problem "Windows install is not be available" for nearly a year. After trying to do a repair Vista boot without result, I uninstalled all updates. The problem disappeared. I decided to install the updates one by one. After you have installed Service Pack 2, the problem with windows install returned. The Service Pack installs completely and then open my computer properties indicates that Vista runs with Service Pack 2 installed.

Uninstall Service Pack 2 and blocking automatic updates will not install it was my only solution to the issue of "Windows install is not be accessible". I fear that it may cause a security flaw in my computer, however.

If someone has encountered this problem, and if so, is there a solution to install Service Pack 2 for my windows service install still works correctly?

  • Install W2K on Tecra 8100

    Hi all

I am trying to install W2K on a Tecra 8100, but I think I'm doing something wrong, because it keeps failing.

If I just insert the CD it starts to start a load several files at a time when the Setup starts Windows 2000 (present at the bottom of the screen) and the installation crashes with a blue screen and the c0000221 error material unknown error \systemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll
I read that, during installation, you will need to press F5 (in the screen where you can load a SCSI or raid driver) and then choose Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC, but after doing this I get the same error.
I have no additional material attached, it's original configuration.

Any thoughts on how to solve this problem and get W2K on my laptop?

    Hello

I think that this question has nothing to do with the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) or similar.

I read about the error systemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll message, and there is no particular reason for this error.
Sometimes some service packs missing cause this problem and sometimes hardware malfunction (RAM or HARD drive) could be responsible for a BSOD.

You are able to install Win XP?

My problem is the same that I copied and paste it here.  Only mine is a computer toshiba laptop.  After getting the message service pack 2 is installed correctly, tap on restart, my laptop did exactly the same as the one listed above.  I also tried the system restore and safe mode, etc.  Why microsoft has released this service pack without testing.  This is not good for the people through it all.  Also, I now have to do a clean install, but as the previous person, my laptop came without windows or recovery disks.  How can I get Microsoft to send me a new drive for free since it is their responsibility.

    Hello johnsagney,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Forum!

As Service pack 2 caused this problem on the computer, you can try to remove the Service Pack 2 Mode without failure.

Start your computer in Mode safe and follow the steps below:

To uninstall a service pack of Windows Vista, follow these methods in the order in which they are presented. First of all, try Method 1.

Method 1: Uninstall the service pack of Windows Vista by using the programs and features in Control Panel

To uninstall a service pack for Windows Vista, the easiest method is to use the programs and features in Control Panel. To uninstall the service pack of Windows Vista by using the programs and features in Control Panel, follow these steps:

Click Start, type Appwiz.cpl in the start search box, and then click Appwiz.cpl in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    Click View installed updates.

Click the service pack that you want to uninstall, and then click on uninstall.

If this does not work, you can try this method:

    1. open an elevated command prompt window. To do this, click Start, type command in the box start the search, right-click CommandPrompt and then click Run as administrator.

    2. run the following command, depending on the version of the Windows Vista service that you want to uninstall:

For Windows Vista Service Pack 1:

    C:\temp\Windows6.0-kb936330-x86.exe x:C:\temp

Note This command assumes that the file Windows6. 0 - KB936330.exe folder is in the C:\Temp folder

For Windows Vista Service Pack 2:

    C:\temp\Windows6.0-KB948465-nnn.exe x:C:\temp

    In this command, NNN is x 86, x 64, or IA-64.

Note: This command assumes that the file Windows6. 0-KB948465 - X 86 .exe file is in the C:\Temp folder.

    3. He must create a sandbox environment before you can continue to step 4. This allows you to manage safely an untrusted program. To create a sandbox, sandbox type md.

    4. to remove the Windows Vista service pack, type or copy and paste the following command, depending on the version of the Windows Vista service that you want to uninstall:

For Windows Vista Service Pack 1

    start /w pkgmgr.exe /m:c:\temp\Windows6.0-KB936330-X86.cab /up s:sandbox

For Windows Vista Service Pack 2

    start /w pkgmgr.exe /m:c:\temp\Windows6.0-KB948465-NNN.cab /up s:sandbox.

    In this command, NNN is x 86, x 64, or IA-64.

    5. once Pkgmgr.exe completed, you are prompted to restart the computer to complete the uninstall.

If these steps successfully uninstall the service pack of Windows Vista, and this resolves the issue, you are finished. If these steps do not uninstall the service pack of Windows Vista, or if these steps uninstall the service pack but do not resolve your issue, you need to restore the system to a previous state.

Here is an article that will give you more information about the Remove Service Pack 2:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/948537

If that fails, then you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer, since Vista was preinstalled on your computer.

Support of the software manufacturer OEM or replacement system

In most cases, you should contact the manufacturer OEM (OEM) or the manufacturer of the system directly to replace Microsoft software that was distributed by your computer. However, an exception is made for operating system service pack media *, for which you can contact us directly.

Contact information for the manufacturer of the computer, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

  • Vista black screen after the loading bar

I have the problem that I am assuming that almost all users of Windows Vista have probably experiences - the black screen with the white cursor lonely after the loading bar 'Microsoft Corporation'. Here are the steps that I tried to solve the problem, but have not yet worked:

    • With the help of "last known good configuration" brings back me to the screen and the white slider
    • Go into safe mode which brings back me to the screen and the cursor
    • Activate the video mode low resolution which brings back me to the black screen and a cursor
    • Using Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC to appear during the black screen Task Manager
    • CTRL + Alt + Delete does not work on the black screen
    • I do not have access to the installation CD, as it was preinstalled on the computer

Yes, as usual, what happened after a windows update - I really should stop waiting for something good to these updates.

Thank you in advance, I know how useful these forums can be.

Yes, a new installation of Windows 7 was the way for me. Lucky he composed a back all my documents, however. Thanks for the help all. Unfortunately I have no where near more closely to solve the problem, then when I started.

On my laptop, this problem does not occur.

Try to uninstall the CODEC packs video that you have installed and check if it would still give you this error. The video CODEC packs could cause a conflict when loading video files or the thumbnails of the video files.

I read disk defrags and changes to the operating system and system files can make your shots are growing very fast.  Is this true?  What are the things that drive your ssnapshots quickly?  I checked for large files and lots of small files, but do not see on VMS that have fast growing snapshots.

    Thanks in advance.

There is only 1 thing that causes snapshots to grow, which is data changes.

But yes, things like defrags (which may change in each block) and updates to the BONE (espescially of great things like service packs) can cause enormous deltas.

  • The team of NIC failover problem

    Hi all

We have a problem with the failover of vSwitches.

Basically the problem is when I unplug the cable of the two physical natachasery associated with my vSwitch there is a loss of contents of a sachet.  The content of a packet loss creates no real problems but the biggest problem is when you plug the network cable from back in.  That's where we lose 10 packs, what causes host ESXi due relinquish in VCenter since I did the test on the uplink system and causing all virtual machines that are running under it restart on another Member of the same Cluster ESXi host.

After a lot of reading these forums and Ken vSwitch debate blog http://kensvirtualreality.wordpress.com/2009/04/05/the-great-vswitch-debate%E2%80%93part-3/

Using the default route based on the original virtual port code should work just fine without the need of any special Cisco switch configuration.

We run ESXi 4.1 HP DL380 / DL360 servers.  This is the configuration for VMware and switch cisco so any help is greatly appreciated.

VMware VSwitch and PortGroup configs are attached as images.

Cisco config which only the two switchports connected to the specific ESXi is attached as a text file.

What us has monitored him looking at the physical cisco switch when attempting to connect the network to switch the switchport cisco cable flashes orange so that network on ESXi reports linking as down and as soon as the switchport goes green ESXi comes back online.

Any ideas or recommendations how to solve this are greatly appreciated.

There is an important parameter, you must configure. It is the spanning tree portfast

  • Cannot open the Authorware Help Pages

I'm not sure if the installation of IE7 (including service pack 2) caused this problem, or our latest I.T. installation Department I have to upgrade notes, but I get the following error whenever I try to open the Authorware Help Pages, or any other component in 7.01 to CURRENT browser-based. Here is the error:

'The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW don't couldnot located in the dynamic library PSAPI. DLL."

I "googled" PSAPI. DLL and found other people having this problem with other programs such as "band bandwidth Helper. Did anyone else out there having the problem I'm having?

    Thank you
    Craig

    Dear Mr Tomlinson,

As you suggested, I immediately installed the 7.02 update. It does not solve my problem. I uninstalled IE7, that solved my problem.

Maybe it's a warning to all users to the current 7. Stay away from IE7!

    Kind regards

  • Search vi.lib/Utilities of building in a packed library

If I build a VI in a packed library, which contains some elements of the vi.lib/Utilities folder, the version produced the 'Search' dialog box

For example a VI containing the 'check if file or folder Exists.vi' produces this symptom (see attached screenshot).

I tried to compile my project of mass and mass also compile the vi.lib/Utilities folder and it doesn't fix it.

If I uncheck "Remove unused polymorphic instances of VI ' & 'Delete unused library of the project members' additional exclusions generate a page, it does not it, but my build is 1/3 larger in size of the file if I wait all dependencies to be searched & found.

Is there a reason that someone knows why it does this and is at - it a better solution than bloating the file compiled?

    Hello Duncan,.

I tested it with LabVIEW 2011 and everything seems to work.

What version of LabVIEW are you using?
