    Is there something that can I do.

    Hi Ulises,

    Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand from the information you have provided to us, you can't play as AVCHD file format in Windows 7.

    It seems that the AVCHD file format is not supported by Windows media player.

    You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On the file tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

    Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

    If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

    You can check the link for assistance on the issue - below

  • Adobe Flash CS6: "unexpected file format".

    Hi all

    First of all, my apologies if posted to the wrong forum.

    We have been affected by a problem when users opened their .fla files - they are presented with the error "unexpected file format".

    To my knowledge, the flash CS6 version we have is up-to-date. We have also followed the fix "zip repair" suggested on the many messages of the forum / Web sites but have however failed to recover the file.

    We are currently looking through backups to restore previous versions of files, although the progress made since that version are lost. We use the software for education - and we have a number of students who currently depend on this software for their courses.

    One thing I noticed in an earlier backup is that right after you open the file restored, I am presented with a window of mapping of fonts for fonts that are not installed on my system. I don't know if it has nothing to do with the issue though.

    No official response from Adobe is very appreciated!

    Thank you
    SB

    This isn't an official response.

    your fla is corrupt.

    You can try to fix it (it seems you've tried) and you can sometimes restore work fla to decompile a swf to work (if you have one).

    and you should learn to save frequent backups with different file names.  It is safe to apply a system of versioning of your backups.

    If I have a project named adobe_test_project.fla.  I immediately record adobe_test_project_001.fla.  Subsequently, I increment the 001.

    I have a shortcut keyboard (ctrl-alt-s) and jsfl that automatically executes the jsfl which then saves the fla with the incremented number:

    a = uri.split('.');

    a [a.length - 2] = a [a.length - 2] + "_v000";

    bool = fl.saveDocument (doc, a.join('.'));

I've updated some sixteen days ago or so and since then I have had this problem.  Suggestions of what the problem may be, suggestions of either try to go back or do a complete reinstall?  All this is very frustrating for an old man, just trying to make good photos!  Any help would be appreciated.

    Recommend to reset preferences to default Photoshop

    Press and hold the keys Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) you launch Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

  • Lightroom exported CC JPG file format not valid

    I had two clients today say that files I sent them (exported from Lightroom) wouldn't upload to their Web site due to an invalid file type being, it was the mistake, they got when you try to download. Initially, I thought it was just something on their end because the two were not very computer savvy. However, after thinking about this I realized these my first two projects since the upgrade to Lightroom CC. I double checked all my settings export everything seems the same to me and I use the same workflow I always do. I can't test it myself as I don't have access to the sites they were using. I'm curious to know if anyone has had problems with JPG exported, or there may be a setting I missed somewhere?

    I opened the peak of the sample into 12 Mac and Windows programs and uploaded to Flickr and Zenfolio, and none complained (see list below).  I looked at the file with Exiftool and added some examples of metadata - Exiftool usually issues a warning if the file format is not strictly conform to the standards.

    So this peut be a case where the file produced by LR strictly conform to the industry standards but has a domestic provision which is not usually used, tripping a software that does not properly implement the standards.  It already happened at least once in the previous versions of LR, and Adobe changed LR to avoid the problem.   I see hints of this possibility in the dump Exiftool - JPEGs produced by LR CC have 102 unused after the TIFF header bytes, while typical JPEGs do not have these unused bytes.

    You can test this hypothesis very quickly: open the sample peak in the CC of Photoshop (or another editor if you don't have Photoshop) and save it on with Save as the same level of quality.  (Other programs don't usually write these bytes unused header.)   Ask your customers to try to download this version.

    In addition, ask your customers for the exact error message (letter for letter) and the software that powers their Web sites.   That could give better clues.

  • The f4v and flv file formats are deleted in CC2014 media encoding. Chapter points are still possible?

    It is a problem, because these two formats seem to be the only file formats that support chapter points.

    How can I add chapter points, or something similar to a video playing in Acrobat Pro?

    What I want is to add triggers for a video, which plays in an Acrobat document, so that the layers are turned on and off during video playback. Moreover, I want to add Javascript to such actions.

    My ultimate goal is to make interactive documents explaining the projective geometry. Theorems are illustrated so much better when you provide them with animations, so that it is clear that some points and lines do not move whien other points and lines are displaced.

    So, basically, I want to have texts, videos that explain and animations consisting of geometric constructions that demonstrate, through animation, invariants of the transformations.

    How is that possible?

    Is there another function in Acrobat Pro XI that makes this possible in a different way?

    Adobe has decided to abandon the FLV and F4V, but all other video formats that include the cue point metadata, so Acrobat is left high and dry does not allow the specification of the Rich Media Annotation in the ISO 32000. You cannot add chapter points in Acrobat unless they exist in the video file, then you will need to use the third-party encoding software (or reinstall an older version of Media Encoder).

  • Open the document in the plugin file format blocks Illustrator

    Hello

    I am trying to open an EPS file in a File Format of plugin GoFileFormat() Manager, the following code.

    AIDocumentListSuite * sAIDocumentList = nil;

    AIDocumentHandle document;

    message-> d.basic-> AcquireSuite (kAIDocumentListSuite, kAIDocumentListVersion, (const void *) & sAIDocumentList);

    (error = sAIDocumentList-> Open(ai::FilePath(ai::UnicodeString("D:\\MyFile.eps")), kAIUnknownColorModel, kDialogOff, false and document);

    message-> d.basic-> ReleaseSuite (kAIDocumentListSuite, kAIDocumentListVersion);

    The file is opened and displayed correctly, but as soon as the handler returns, Illustrator crashes. In fact, Illustrator will break if these lines are also available in the sample application TextFileFormat GoFileFormat() Manager. However, I tried to put these same statements to another location (for example against the click of a menu item), where they seem to work fine. But it may also be accidental. What can be the reason? Is there a problem with this code? Or open files in this way is not possible in the GoFileFormat() Manager, perhaps because he's already opening a new file type? If this is the case, how the code should be changed? I need to open this eps file, in fact more than one eps file when the user chooses to open my special file type (in fact, the eps file names are mentioned in this file). I also tried to set the sAIDocumentList as a global pointer (like many other pointers on in samples), but the result remains the same.

    Any help will be most appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joydeep Ray

    Hello

    > Or open files in this way is not possible in the GoFileFormat() Manager, perhaps because he's already opening a new file type?

    I think that is probably the reason why it crashes.

    > If this is the case, how the code should be changed?

    You could use a timer. In your GoFileFormat() Manager to store the file name, and then create a timer with a zero time-out.

    File name of store etc.

    sAITimer-> AddTimer (message-> d.self, "DocOpen", 0, & docOpenTimer);

    Return kBadParameterErr;

    In your GoTimer() Manager, open the file and remove the timer:

    If (message-> timer is docOpenTimer)

    {

    sAITimer-> SetTimerActive (message-> timer, false);

    Code of the open document

    }

  • Cannot open footage or import clips - unsupported file format

    We have an iMac workstation running here first that won't open projects or import clips.  Here is the chronology of events that led to this:

    1. first was locked up on the splash screen whenever he arrived at the "ImporterQuicktime.bundle".  I tried trashing preferences and launch with plug-ins disabled and received the same gel.  Based on the recommendations of the forum that I removed "ImporterQuicktime.bundle" and "ExporterQuickTimeHost.bundle" in the plug-ins folder inside the packaging.  The software launched fine - but none of the Quicktime files in the project worked.  So then I took copies of the 2 files above the iMac next to it, with exactly the same setup and paste into the plugins folder.  Since that time - launch of the software generated errors below.

    2 try to open any project gives long error that starts out as: the preset used by one or more sequences in this project requires third-party components that could not be located.

    3 start a new project and try to drag any Quicktime ProRes media in the project give the error: unsupported file Format.

    I've trashed the preferences, re-installed the Codecs from Quicktime Pro Apps, authorized the computer and re-authorized and updated Adobe Premiere 7.0 to 7.2.  Which no correction of the problem.

    I think to try a full reinstall of first then.  Any other ideas?

    Here are the details:

    First Pro 7.2 CC

    Mac OS 10.8.5

    iMac model end 2012, 32 GB of RAM, 2 GB video card

    Thank you.

    Don Hertz

    I think I found a work around.  It seems that the 7.2 upgrade is making it so that our XDCAM 422 Quicktime clips are not recognized correctly.  Cut the two currently in a project and a new clip imports do not work.  Attempt to import clips using this codec generates error message: not supported format or corrupted file.  This has happened on both a system iMac running OS 10.8.5 and a Macbook Pro running OS - which have been upgraded to first 7.2 10.9.1.  In both cases - uninstall and reinstallation of first solved the problem.

  • Save as file formats error

    With Photoshop CS6 Extended when I go to save the image in jpeg format it displays in the file name.iff, if Save in png, it shows name.pxe file and save the file in pdf format it shows the file name.pcx. All formats seem to show a different format. Any ideas why and how fix it. I did all the updates. On a mac as well.

    Your problem is typical of the CS6 recording overflows when CS5 plugins are loaded. Some plug-ins CS5 can be OK, but looks like you have one that is a problem.

    Close the CS6, move that the old plugin of your CS6 folders, launch Photoshop, try to save. Who help me?

  • "Unexpected file Format" Flash save corruption

    Hello.

    We have recently upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit of Windows XP here at work, and since the upgrade, I discovered a very scary problem with Flash.

    When you go to save one of my major projects, Adobe simply crashes often purely and simply, gel and displaying a standard error message.

    "Adobe Flash CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "- with an option to"close the program ".

    I hit close program, and Flash disappears. If I try and open again the same FLA file, I get the error message

    "Unexpected file format".

    Unfortunately, it seems since Flash crashes in the middle of the economy, it is corrupting my FLA file. This is extremely worrying because it corrupts my entire source file.

    I am lucky that I keep regular backups, otherwise I could have lost months of work instead of just today. In the meantime I copy and paste a new version of the file each time that I open the Flash, but it's a roll of the dice that next time, I have save if he will kill him or not.

    Here are my computer details:

    OS: Windows 7 - recently improved 32-bit of Windows XP

    64-bit Intel Xeon X 5560 @ 2.80 Ghz

    4 GB of Ram

    The version of Flash CS5 is 11.0.0.485

    The FLA in question is 10 MB and contains large map files (gifs), a lot of small JPG as well as much of the code as well as the import of external classes. I tried to reproduce the problem on smaller files and have not been able to do.

    I was wondering if it was a case of memory, but Flash seems to use about 450 mbs. About 40% of my total memory is free, according to the performance of the Task Manager.

    Any ideas what might solve this problem?

    Not an answer but a suggestion for Adobe:

    If you could choose a location for the automatic recovery (which is programmed to save the recovery file in the same directory as the original file) + delete delete auto to the correct output of the program.

    Even have it set to save in a place like 'my documents' on a local disk, would let you have a copy of your work that is X-minutes old.

  • Proof of registration in a lighter file format

    Hello

    I'm working on a pretty big project with Captivate 5.5 and I especially need events Records. I have all images from bottom of registration in the library, and as I start ot work on them, I realized that each of them had a size of 4.5 MB. It is too much, given the number of slides in my project a. I noticed during the export of some of these files, they seemed to be in .bmp format. I know I could take each one and modify it to change the .jpg file format but it would take forever. Is it possible to save a project and immediately after the slide background in a .jpg format?

    Thank you

    Captivate uses BMP because it is a lossless format.  JPG compression is frozen, which means that you lose data.  In addition, BMP or PNG are formats better to capture screencaptures of software interfaces, because the type of compression, they use works more efficiently with large areas of color (which is what the software interfaces tend to have). Compression of JPG format is designed for the photographs and situations where you gradients and color changes in direction X and Y.

    So you don't try to change the format.  How Captivate stores the data in the library is not the same format he uses when publishing to SWF format.  You can control the final publish quality via the parameters of quality on each slide.

  • Recovery of file name in the plugin file format

    Hi all!

    I have trouble finding a way to retrieve the name of the desierd file in my experimental file format plugin. I used SimpleFormat as starting point and after that I tracked the datastructure of the file I'm supposed to write, all I can find is a handle to a write handle. Impasse to the extent where I coul see.

    The thing is, I need to manipulate the file from another process outside of photoshop, and to this effect, I need to communicate the name of the file the user registered on the plugin to use at a later date.

    It seems to me that the process of handeling file is designed to be opaque?

    Edit; Oh I forgot, it is on OS X...

    PIFormat.h version 11 (Photoshop CS4) adds this item to the record.

    UInt16 * finalSpec;

  • The Photoshop pdf file formats

    Hello

    I am writing a drawing application that supports layers and I'd like to be able to write in a layered .tif file that photoshop can understand and translate into layers.

    In tiff 6.0 documentation, it refers to the "Photoshop file formats.pdf" file to better understand how photoshop reads and writes the TIFF.

    This document does not seem to be available in the SDK, and the last comment I can see about it is from 2005. Is it possible to get the latest version (or in fact any version) of this document without being part of the partner program?

    Thank you.

    Good news. After much back and forth with you don't know how many people I'm finally able to view the PDF file. No questions asked! I'll attach it here and in other threads by download. Look for it soon in HTML format on http://www.stage.adobe.com/devnet/photoshop/ after that I have using information from CS5. Also note the 'the Panel Guide' for CS5 is now available on this page as well.

  • Should I change file Format for CD burning

    I'm new with this please bare with me. What I can say all the music I have purchased through iTunes is in the AAC Audio file format. All the music that I imported into iTunes MY Cd collection has been imported with the Apple Lossless Audio File.

    My question is the sound quality of the BEST CD, do I have to convert the music I bought, with is in the ACC Audio, Apple Lossless file format, then burn to the CD? There should just go with the Audio of the right VAC on CD file. I ask this for music that I bought. All the other songs I imported CD into itunes is already Apple Lossless. I am not concerned about the larger files, just to get the best sound quality for CD.

    Hi 80vette,

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

    I see you are eager to learn more about the quality of the music, and if you can do something else to get them to a better quality.  Now it is possible to convert your AAC to Apple Lossless files, the only change you will see is a significant increase of disk space being absorbed by these songs.  Simply put, you can put the lossless format, but you will hear no audio enhancement.  In addition, encoded AAC files downloaded from the iTunes Store already compete with the quality that you hear on a CD of music retail:

    AAC encoded files compete with the quality of the audio CD and sound as good or better than MP3 files encoded in same or even a high sampling rate. For example, a 128 kbps AAC file should sound as good or better than a 160 Kbps MP3 file. Because the flow is weaker, the AAC file is also smaller than the MP3 file.

    12 iTunes for Windows: AAC

    See you soon.
