file OLMAPI32.dll
I activated the trial version of Microsoft Office 2007 on my new Sony vaio VGN-TT21M, but whenever I try to open Outlook, I get the following message:
The file OLMAPI32.dll is incompatible with Microsoft Office Outlook. Install Outlook again.
Can anyone help with this? Has anyone encountered this problem? Word, Excel, Powerpoint, everything seems to work very well.
With Outlook closed, search OLMAPI32. DLL (in my Windows 7 system, it is located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12) and rename it or delete it. Then go into "start |" All programs | Microsoft Office | Microsoft Office tools and run the "Microsoft Office Diagnostics". This should fix the problem by replacing the file with the correct version.

I've updated to the new firefox 8. It worked fine until that webroot ran a virus scan. It has quarantined the file ssl3.dll as a medium risk threat. Is it safe for me to UN-quarantine, or is it a malicious file?
Hi Codgerette,
It's Greg of Webroot support in response to your message.
I checked your Support ticket, and it seems that the reason that the file has been quarantined because of a false positive alarm that has been resolved. I can assure you that the Webroot products are tested in other software packages for compatibility. Sometimes certain applications that receive incremental updates can initially marked because of the behavioral detection technique in SecureAnywhere. Unlike security software, Webroot SecureAnywhere relies on a database of clouds to check files, while once this file has been considered safe, all customers who have SecureAnywhere of installed Webroot will not have this updated file in quarantine and installation should go smoothly.
Thank you

I did turn adware since last week and keep the same files every night. I tried to search my computer for files without result. They are:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
drpmon.dll
Does anyone know how Delete causes these files so that they do not take reapearing on my pc and especially stop popping up all the time!

Hello David
I can just tell you that this file drpmon.dll is part of aurora spyware. The removal procedure is not so simply.
In the future I recommend to use some Anti-Spyware software like:
Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en or

I recently noticed this error message-
Critical error: cannot find the file [CardGames.dll]. The game cannot continue.
whenever I try to click on a card game. Help, please! Is there something I can download again to fix this error?
Hi jaymeister3580,
It seems that the problem is related to the installation of the game itself, I suggest you try the following steps:
Step 1: Auditor of file system (CFS) scan to fix all of the corrupted system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below. The following steps are worth a try:
How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

In fact, I corrected it an hour ago and was meaning that close the message. I cleaned with CCleaner temporary files, downloaded the SP3 Installer on its own (no windows update) and disabled the antivirus. I was able to complete the installation.

where can I get the file dlbtmcro.dll
computer said I need file dlbtmcro.dll. Where can I get?
This seems to be part of the package of driver scanner for a Dell all-in-one printer.
Reinstall your Dell printer. See A section for directions.
Normally, you should go to Dell for pilots: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriversHome/NeedProductSelection?fkey=Drivers_PS
However, in the search for your file name, a website says that it was the driver for the Dell AIO 922. If the printer you have, Dell seems to have abandoned the XP drivers for this model and has the Vista drivers. I couldn't find drivers Dell 922 on third-party sites, such as http://dell.driversdown.com/dell-drivers-downloads/Dell-Photo-All-In-One-Printer-922_8587.shtml download drivers on these sites at your own risk.
Can also ask in the forum of Dell printers: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3528.aspx

Tried several times, if I check the update log it shows canceled, have tried to disable Norton. Tried to install it manually through the Setup Wizard. He gets up then I get the message "set up cannot copy the file msado15.dll.
HelloYou did changes to the computer before the show?
Method 1
I suggest you to run the fixit from the following link:The problem with Microsoft Windows Update is not working
http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_update/Method 2
I suggest you register the Msado15.dll file required.a. Click Start and then click Run.
b. in the run dialog box, type the following commands in the Open box and then click OK.Regsvr32.exe "

> placeholder is the absolute path of the file Msado15.dll. The following examples show how you can specify an absolute path:
Regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\system\ado\Msado15.dll"
If the Msado15.dll file is saved successfully, you receive a message similar to the following message:DllRegisterServer in C:\Program Files\Common Files\system\ado\Msado15.dll successful.c. click OK.Method 3
I suggest to perform the clean boot and then try to install the updates. Clean boot will disable all of the third-party program to ensure that all third party program is not causing the problem. How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

RealPlayer does not open due to missing file MSVCP90.dll
I try to open realplayer and every time I get the same error message: Realplayer does not open due to missing file MSVCP90.dll. I tried to uninstall and reinstall a clean version and it's the same result every time! What I am doing wrong? How can I solve this problem? I have a laptop HP 1030NR which uses xp edition sp3 family. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
The problem is that RealPlayer needs pieces of Visual Studio/Visual C++ libraries and that is not finding them on your system. You do not have to install all this junk - just distribution (like MSVCP90.dll) files.
You can look in Add/Remove programs and see what Microsoft Visual C++ redistributes you have installed right now (you can have none). I installed them in 2005. You may have none or more installed.
I would like to download the latest Package Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable and install it from here:
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=5555
Reboot and see if RealPlayer is happy now.

I tried to change the file ExplorerFrame.dll to use another theme, and I end up doing something I shouldn't. So now I'm unable to see anything, another that its use by the Task Manager click ctrl alt delete.
Help.
Hello
You will not be able to repair your damaged without having to reinstall system, but you can try this: Manager tasks on the Applications tab, click "new task". Click Browse and navigate to C:\Windows\System32. Search the cmd.exe file and right click, choose 'Run as administrator'. Click on continue in the UAC prompt. From the command line, run "sfc/scannow" for the system to validate all system files, it should replace missing or damaged files. When you are done, reboot the system by running "shutdown - r" from the command line.
