  Have you tried to open Internet Explorer as an administrator and see if you can upgrade the DRM license?

  If you have not tried, then try to open the link by following the steps below.

  a. make sure you close all the Internet Explorer Windows and media player when you try the link and the steps provided here.

  b. open Internet Explorer rights grants administrator and copy and paste the link below.

  c. you can try to right click on Internet Explorer icon and choose 'Run as administrator' and try to open the link.

  If the previous step fails, I suggest you disable the firewall and check if that helps. If you have any third-party security firewall, you can check with the user manual to do the same thing.

  I am at a loss to understand why my Presario is not updated to Windows 10 1511. I upgraded from Win 7 to win 10 with no problems at all. It was in late July to early August 15 and after November update was announced I've waited to see if it would come in automatic updates. At this point I don't know what is the best route to take. I did some reading and found that the "media tool" was a problem and that has been corrected (or has been)? Some say to install directlIs what it's going to wipe my settings and applications as the first upgrade or not and the option 'Get Windows 10'?

  I have a pc that I upgraded to win 10 and they have updated to version 1511 through auto update without problem from November and 4 other laptops. I don't understand why this laptop does not receive the update even if Windows Update tells me that it is up-to-date. Can someone explain what the best solution to my problem?

  I installed FMS and we are evalauating as a streaming server.

  If I understand the documentation, all multimedia files for dissemination should be stored in this directory:

  /.../applications/VOD/media

  However, if I want the file to be available (downloadable) over http, it should be located under webroot.

  /.../Webroot/

  Now my question is, why can't I just create a symbolic link from .../webroot/media to point .../applications/vod/Media.

  In general, we would like to do each file streamable and downloadable.

  My thought is, the sym link allow us not to have to download each file in two places.

  Am I missing something?  Are there security issues?  What is the idea behind having 2 directories?  I guess that the FMS can handle streaming and downloading a file at the same time.

  Jay is right.

  The server has been configured with two directories, because many customers is not available for download on HTTP support. Vod/media folder is for RTMP streaming only. Other clients need their media available on HTTP and RTMP. Webroot/vod folder is for these files.

  Here's how the configuration:

  If you look at the (rootinstallationfolder/conf) fms.ini file, you will see two parameters that define the location of vod media files:

  VOD_COMMON_DIR = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\webroot\vod

  VOD_DIR = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\applications\vod\media

  These parameters are used in the tag in the folder rootinstallationfolder/applications/vod application.xml configuration file. They say FMS it can stream files to one of these places.

  /Webroot is the Apache Web root. The Apache httpd.conf (rootinstallationfolder\Apache2.2\conf) file defines the location of the webroot folder. Whatever under this folder can be downloaded.

  For broadcast only, put the files in the vod/media folder. For the streaming + download, put the files in the webroot/vod folder.

  The default value is only to change the name and not the extension. You can replace it by moving your cursor with the mouse, end, home or arrow keys and by changing the file type.

  Windows notifies you of any adverse effects if you change the extension, but you can ignore the warning if you know what you're doing.
