• How to use spawning with a drop-down list and a table area

  I have a form that I need to build pages.  As it is now, I have a table in document and a drop-down list box.  When a selection is made in the drop-down list box, the StateAmt field is filled with the table.  This set works fine now, but I need to be able to make this code work with pages having engineered and need a bit of help.

  It's my javascript document:

  load the table with quantities for each State

  This works very well for one page, but when I add another page (model laid) nothing happens after you make a selection in the drop-down list box.  I don't know I need to edit the script due to spawning change the domain names on each page, but I don't know how.  I tried to rename the combo gState1 and using this script (which does not work)

  I fugured it myself. It works:

  I didn't totally understand the script and trying to change the wrong part.  It is still using the gState table and I needed to change the text box to get the information in the table.

• drop-down list dataProvider and an object of value

  I am filling a dropdown menu with values that are stored in an object of value.   I'm pulling the values from the table of a database vai SQLite the SQLResult object and they come as an array of objects of value. This is exaclty what I want, so I refer to those within a property of my object model and shipping and the event carrying this table.   I place the array of objects of value in a collection of table as follows:

  Try to access it via a drop-down list lists dataProvider property as follows:

  I had to search around for a few hours today on the same subject.

  Basically just set the labelField of the drop-down list the name of the field for its values

  foodCategory.FoodCategory_DropDown.labelField = "Foodcatagory";
  

• no window drop-down list appears after you insert the music cd

  Running 32-bit XP Pro - Microsoft Techs after a virus problem, my computer did not recognize one of the 2 discs (CD & DVD/CD Burner) had fixed a problem, but the residue was that no window does not appear after inserting a disc in the drive of CD Play (D).  The window was the choice on what to do to move forward, for example to burn a cd; Open with MS Media Player, etc..  Now, I have to go to the Start button, right click then select Explorer, then scroll down to the CD drive (drive D on my box) and and then proceed from there to listen to a disc.  How can I get this DOS window?  Thank you.

• Use a 2d array to populate a drop-down list box and return a different value.

  I am very new to Labview. I tried to write a VI which reads in 3 columns of data from a spredsheet excel (.csv) as an array of strings. I was able to understand it and then isolated the 2nd and 3rd column to transform data in double format. I want to do is use a list box dropdown refrence the 2nd column of data and find the 3rd so that it can be multiplied by my waveform in post processing. I want to make it easy for the user to configure the sensitivity of the gauge. I enclose my VI and an example of data that I'm reading in. Please give me a helping hand.

  I'm developing an interactive form of VISITOR Adobe, I have Designer 8.1 and Reader 9.0 in my Windows 7 laptop. When I checked the menu EDIT-> properties-> compatibility, its form Adobe XML File (XDP)

  When I opened this interactive form to VISITORS in a browser, right click and PROPERTIES-shaped, then I saw the "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x).

  I have a bunch of drop-down lists in my interactive form, done by drag dropiing the purpose of "combo", at the end I linked to a data source, works very well, say his list of COUNTRIES.

  Use open form, as soon as he saw the 'USA' pre-filled from the drop area, very well.

  Declined the user entries, he saw a couple, like the USA, Canada, UK, Spain, fine.

  But now the user want to enter / replace this entry USA with its own value, such as FRANCE, but my form does not allow her to behave like a field "readOnly"!

  If I understand your question correctly, then I think that you need to do is

  Check the box "Enable custom text entry" on the page of the SUBJECT FIELD

  palette. It is found in the area where you define list items in

  your drop-down list.

  Hello, I currently have a form with a drop-down list field that fills a text field with something according to what is selected in the drop-down list via a custom script typo.

  I want to add a button that something will enter the field of text according to what is selected in the menu dropdown. Copy and paste the script of hitting into the button do not work and returns an undefined value.

  I would also like to add that I am new to coding and it would be more useful if someone can provide a script for it or let me know if this is not possible. Thank you.

• Problem of editable drop-down list.

  • Here's the question. I have a list/menu editable drop-down list in a table. The table is hidden when the page is loaded. When the user clicks on the link to open the table, editable drop-down list is only 1 or 2 pixels wide. How can I get the editable drop down to open up the prescribed 300px?

  As this problem is not directly related to the MEASUREMENT, but assumingly rather to such aspects as defined (if any) width of the table initially hidden, please give a link to the page code in its entirety (or page) to help others to find the possible reason.

  However, it is worth mentioning "editable dropdown" ADDT´s is generated on-the-fly using AJAX features some owners as well (including rendering style), then maybe the style you setting defined here just gets ignored when the surrounding 'container' (aka table) becomes hidden - for example - using features from another library like JQuery AJAX that is certainly incompatible with that ADDT´s own implementation of AJAX.

  I have successfully created a repeatable subform that calculates total fields. But to make the repeatable subform more user-friendly and to mark the shape itself, I want to insert a drop-down list in the repeatable subform. But in order to do so and have the calculations will work well the selections in the drop-down list would have to have numerical values (which are not visible or course). For example if it's a shopping list which took point milk, I would a value assigned to milk. So I guess my question is, can I add items to a menu drop-down using only javascript and assign values to these items at the same time, or I have the list print the number of value to a hidden text field in order to to use in a calculation script. Or would I need to make a connection of data from excel? Thank you

  You can have the display text and the value associated with the time using scripts.

  DropDownList1.addItem ("milk," "2.90");

  In the light of the foregoing, the addItem method accepts 2 parameters. First a display text and the second as value.

  If the user selects milk in the drop-down menu, then the "DropDownList1.rawValue" property will give value as "2,90"...

  I read the discussion on this feature and created a sample form to test the code before implementing it in my main form, but I can't make it work.

  the preOpen event is raised on the preOpen the PDF file and not preOpen the dropDownList control.

  I think that you want to use in this case would be the event enter the dropdownlist control

  I am trying to build a form using LiveCycle Acrobat but have problems with the drop-down lists.

  Inititaly I just wanted to fill in the fields in a table based on a matching menu selection dropdown in another table.

  I used the following code and it worked fine:

  You use .rawValue in the change event. This will cause problems because the selection of the users has not received .rawValue from the drop-down list at the time when the change event is triggered.

  Move your script as it should to the output of the dropdown event.

  I have a menu drop down and a textfield in a table with one line and an Add button.

  The line is repeatable, now, when I select a value in the drop-down list, say "23" and it fills the textfield say with "Jordan".

  Then I click the addButton to add a new line, now I select '7' in the new drop-down list and its supposed to fill the new textfield with "David Villa,"

  Instead, he replaces what was on the original textfield("Jordan") with David Villa, leaving the new empty textfield.

  First thing: I suspect that you have the script to the change event, but use .rawValue for the test. With the drop-down menus, I tend to use the exit and .rawValue event.

  With respect to the textfield, you probably use a too full reference, like "Row1.usersName". If you just use "usersName, for example the name of your textfield, then Acrobat/Reader uses the particular instance of the textfield in the same line as the drop-down list.

  Then just write a new array of strings, with the elements of the new agenda, to the "[] strings" - property.

  Either you must code something that allows you to create an array of strings with the elements in the order that you want them to be. If there is a reorganization only, you could do something like:

  -Get the array of strings [] from the drop-down list using a property node box.

  -Find the position of the element you want to place first and use "delete from table", which returns the new array and the element removed.

  -Build a new table 1 d of the deleted item and table remaining. Move to the second combobox Strings [] property of a node property.
