• High-pass filter question

  Hi all

  I have a question about the high pass filtering in LabVIEW simply based on observation, have never been taught directly on the filters.

  A signal of high pass filtering, with a Butterworth IIR filter (2nd order) for example, around the time Fortran, = 0 there is a transition from a high-intensity "false" at a rate expected, as the officer although this is achieved thanks to a program as I have nothing else to hand at the moment.  In order to minimize the importance, for the rest of the filtered signal, you can increase the sampling time, change the filter settings or even add time of additional levy in order to truncate it.

  Is there an established method to get around this?  The reason why I ask is because I'm trying to distinguish accurately Laminar and turbulent parts of a signal of speed but on time = 0, in a completely laminar signal, our method returns false positives for the presence of turbulent structures.  I assume that this will always be the case, but it is better to ask first and concluded later!

  All filters have a transient initial.  You must wait until it has settled on or try to compensate for the spike in some way.  Transitional measure also depends on the input (including any noise) signal, it is generally not possible to compensate exactly.

• In bulk Eloqua API complex filter Question

  I have a bit of a problem with the API of BULK ELOQUA.

  This question is more precisely to do with filters.
  I have the below to filter a combination of updating & Date created fields.

  This seems to return the correct results, but a lot of incorrect results-

  Here's an example output with the deleted email.

  As you can see that it does not meet the criteria I'm using. (July 9, 2015).

  When I use the filter separately it seems to work perfectly. FOR EXAMPLE

  The above returns only results with a DateModifed of July 9, 2015.

  Is my built wrong filter?

  Hi Damien,.

  Currently we support only, because of our research infrastructure, filters in the form:

  (A or B) and (C or D or E) and...

  We do not support (A and B) or (C and D) that is expected to extend this functionality to export activity as it should in this case.

• Zig Zag filter questions

  I use Illustrator CS4 on a Macbook Pro with Lion mountain... the question.

  The first time I used the zig zag filter today I had exactly the effect I wanted:

  I don't change anything either, but the number of crests by segement.

  Then I tried to open a new document (thus also restart Illustrator) and creating a completely new line and applying the zig zag filter and got the same strange result yet.  I compared my appearance Panel settings and everything is the same except for the appearance of the tile.  I know it must be something simple that I forget but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is!

  Your path has a fill. You went to an odd number of points at the beginning and end at the top of the zig zag, an evwn of points number to start at the top and bottom end. Illustrator is just auto fill a path open.

• Upgrade Vista to Windows 7 keyboard filter question

  I really need help with this...

  I have upgraded vista to the full retail version of Windows 7.

  Compatibility check says updating keyboard filter. I could not find much info about it and assumed it would not be too affect many except extra work I probly never use.

  Unfortunately, my keyboard doesn't work well at all.

  IM using HP-G30-260US laptop computer.

  I now disconnected the keyboard Ribbon and plugged a usb keyboard, a pain to use, but at least its working. I would really like to know a fix for this problem to get my job real keyboard and installation of windows 7 is already running on this computer, the upgrade, not a clean place. I tried to install a different Quick Launch buttons driver and uninstalled completely after windows 7 but without success.

• Filter question of hosted service - seems to not work

  I have a configured filter and most of the time it seems to work correctly.  The goal was to create a filter TLD of sorts, but some still get through.  Read on.

  In our environment, we care only about 6 TLDS (COM, NET, ORG, GOV, US and CA).  Due to this luxury hotel, it is ideal for simply deleting all other areas.  I created a filter where the "from" field "does not contain" these 6 words (in a dictionary) and it works... for the most part.  Some still go and sit in our junk mail box.  Of course, an email like "[email protected]" that makes grace because the letters 'com' is in the word 'complete' and who is eligible to pass the filter.  However, an email with a 'to' of '[email protected]' is sitting in our junk mail box.  Why it has not been deleted?  (See below... I removed the field)

• GoldenGate filter questions

  I'm testing Goldengate (12.1.2) with Oracle 11 g on Oracle Enterprise Linux (11.2.0.4).

  One of the tests is to check that it is possible to filter the lines. I have 5 scenarios:

  (1) INSERT data and replicate only the rows that match the WHERE condition

  (2) data UPDATE where the WHERE condition met

  3) update the data on the source that leads to insert new lines on the target

  4) update the data on the source that leads to the removal of the target lines

  (5) DELETE lines

  All the scenarios work except version 4 where an UPDATE on the source leads to a suppression of the target:

• SVG filter question Gaussian blur

  

  This deviation from filter is set to 10, and given that the blur radius is too large, it just cut. I guess you have to increase the forms include, but are not actually increase the size of the form. Don't know how to do it well. How can I fix?

  Thanks for the reasoning. I was curious to know why.

  The SVG feGaussianBlur filter is infamous for having had this problem when the canvas is not set large enough. The downside is that Illustrator does not exactly work plans in the same way as the SVG canvas. Thus, in order to stop the edges are cut off, you will need to add code to the SVG filter. I read that doing so may have a performance impact, but it will allow you to bypass the edge clipping.

  I used the filter of default AI_GaussianBlur_7 on the circle on the left. The right is the same filter, but with an additional code applied to set the area of the circle design.

  You can play with the values to find something that works for you, but at least this will put you in the right direction.

• Nik filter questions

  An accident of "BSofD" when editing in 2015 CC Photoshop, I have a problem with the functioning of the Nik filters, specifically Color FX Pro 4.  All filters work but I can't save favorite filters and no registered filters appear in the Nik of PS CC 2015 selection tool.  Leaving the PS, I get the following error message:

  "XML parsing error: not well formed (invalid token) at line 1.

  Action taken:

  1. uninstall the Nik filters using their uninstall program.

  2. download the latest version of Nik filters web site.

  3 re-install all filters.

  The problem still exists.  System: Windows 7 Professional.  Note that this problem exists also with Photoshop CS5 that I still have on my system, then maybe it's a matter of Nik and not Photoshop.  I sent Nik the problem but have not yet had to answer.

  • Try this, while pressing Shift open PS and click Yes at the prompt.
    • None of your plugins will not load.
  • Now, try and make all the King of the work with the PS and see if at any time, it crashes or not.
  • If this is not so, it is for sure a question with NIK and you will need to contact them directly.
  • However, if you want to try, reinstall PS and see if that helps.

• File Type filter question

  I have a file with the .jpg 10 files. I opened the folder and then click Filter. For some reason, file Type does not appear even though I have the Type of file selected in the filter categories select. If I move the files in the folder and place them on the desktop, then file Type appears. What Miss me? Thank you.

  Filter displays only the file types when there is more file of a type; Office has more than one type of file. Add another file that is not a jpg file in your folder of JPGs and then see which filter screens for this folder.

• Patch Wizard - Filter question Support

  I installed the filter Support on my 11.5.10 CU2 system and he ran as a test to make sure that my system would fill extended support.
  The overall state of employment recommended watch = 0 and Code = 0 new level, so at the first appearance, it seems good.

• Neutral density filter question

  LR 6.1.1 on iMac using 5 k. The bluetooth trackpad input device.

  Is there a key combination that can be pressed when you place a ND adjustment to keep as horizontal placement? It is difficult to place just because it begins to spin immediately. Then, I spend so much time trying to turn for horizontal or vertical if the case may be. Sensitive trackpad I guess - but I tried to adjust to slow and no help.

  Like when we hold down the Option key on Mac for highlights or sharpening mask.

• Photoshop at it with a filter rose on my photos at their opening upward.

  So I already posted about it here: open an Image in Photoshop puts a pink color on top of the Image.

  Unfortunately, the issue managed to return.

  I know that with this image, you can not really noticed the pinkness except the kind on the white parts of the leaves, but on others it is much more sensitive. At least you can see that the colors have changed seriously. I also noticed that when I save images that they change colors. For example, I did a few SNES who used a gray color with only a slight tinge of green to it. When I saved the image, however, this mostly gray color turned to a very noticeable green color. Maybe my monitor calibration is off or something that is originally also this filter question rose? I'm not quite sure what to do.

  It sounds like a faulty monitor for me - profile is not only the image that is pink, also all neutral nuances.

  Try to set the monitor to sRGB profile - if this solves the problem, ideally you should calibrate your monitor with a standard material.

  (if you have a wide screen, use Adobe RGB instead of sRGB)

  You seem to be the Windows 10, so here is the procedure:

  Press the Windows key + R, type colorcpl in the box and press ENTER.

  Add the sRGB profile, and then set as default profile. See screenshot (from Windows 7) below.

  Make sure you check out use my settings for this device.

  

• Satellite M100 - DVD-Multi drive not recognized as an engraver of CD/DVD (!)

  After the installation of Win XP SP3 in the last update of windows, Toshiba tools, but also other CD/DVD burning software don't recognize this title, the drive from DVD - ram only as a CD-rom drive.
  Thus, software such as recordIt does not work.

  I have already deleted the drive in the list of material and have reinstalled.
  The driver being used is 'Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ - 841S'
  That's right, so far. But it's not burn CD/DVDs.

  I think that it s a lower upper filter question and I think that you could solve this sequel to this instruction step by step.

  First remove the player of ODD (CD/DVD) from the list in Device Manager.
