  I am trying to replace the text ' ^ 2 ' with '²' on photoshop by a search and replace, because there are many cases that on my image, but I can't seem to access any feature in photoshop which can do a search and replace for anything other than simple text.   Google found this discussion Forums Adobe with different versions of the script.  I don't know exactly what made the script, but maybe it would work.  You probably want to make a backup of your documents before you run it:

  Thanks for getting back to me on that.  Search for replacement & is great, but it's a disappointment that only the body of pages can use this function when it has so much important text in page descriptions and titles!  I would love to see this feature added to a future version of Adobe Muse... Any chance you could forward that request to the right person to review?

• The powerful ' find and replace ' features are missing pages

  It would be good if the development team of Pages read the questions and the problems posted on the apple Support communities.

  Find and replace invisible characters (tabs, returns, etc.) have disappeared in the Pages for older versions.

  Other researchers suggest that the functions are in the NON Apple software. Duh. TextEdit not more and not pages. Disappointing, can not describe the feeling.

  The new Apple:

  There is that one thing I use 5 Pages for: drawing, which can be fun in its limits. As a designer, I like he is aligned with the alignment that makes things very fast for me. Unfortunately, other sucks.

  Pages ' 09 is pretty horrible at drawing but great for the layout and productivity. The contrast between the two is remarkable, when I switch between them. If only I could have 5 Pages, in Pages ' 09 drawing tools, I could happily mix 5 Pages completely and be totally unaware of anything that does not work or works so badly she may as well not exist.

  2016 is coming with the editor of affinity, I hope it turns out as well as the designer of the affinity and Photo of affinity, but doubt that it will be the combination of WP, PAO and spreadsheet that makes Pages ' 09 so awesome to work with.

  • I am running Windows 7 for packs SP 1 or SP 2 does NOT solve my problem since neither one works with Windows 7.  Is there a way to search for this MUI (Multiple User Interface) missing file? The every thing must have himself installed in the first place. I took my mom (she died in June) and my brother on this PC as users so even if they do not use this PC supports multiple users. Maybe if I deleted as a reboot and additional users it will solve my problems. My updates install OK but I can't run at all system restore. It creates a restoration point OK but when I try to sr back to a restore point before I get the error 0x80073AFC topic of the missing MUI file. Then, when I spear SR it is said that he could not and no files have been changed because of the error 0x8000FFFF error, unspecified catastrophic failure and could not retrieve the file several times when system restore is attempted.

    I'm running Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion with browser Firefox 3.6.8 browser Opera 10.60, IE8 and Google Chrome 5.0.375.125 browser browser.

    OK I tried everything and nothing works! Only added beginners are updated browser Opera 10.63; IE9 (Beta); Firefox 3.6.12 and Google Chrome 7.0.517.41 and Java 22. Of course like everyone else in the world, I had to uninstall/enable and disable/download again and reinstall new Adobe Flash 10 and 11 of the shock wave and they keep crashing too! Hello 4 keep screwing browsers and now I get connection network problems. I run Comcast doctor and did everything it said to do, but nothing works. Oh and I added 7-Zip and WinZip also.   Download and Save the update system (or CheckSUR) tool. You will need to download the specific Version of CheckSUR corresponding to the architecture of the system to Windows 7. If you do not know the architecture of the system, and then click the link that says "Click here to show or hide the instructions step by step with images" under method 2: download the update directly system preparation tool from Microsoft Download Center .

• Find and replace function in file names?

  Is it possible to do a find and replace in the names of files, rather than the office or similar?  I have a large list of names of files that all have a problem with them I want to replace, but I don't want to pass by and do each manually!  A better way to do it?

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  Select the files in Windows Explorer, press and hold Shift and right click on them. Choose copy from the menu in the path. Paste the list in any editor you prefer. You get the full path for each file, but a simple find/replace will clean up if necessary.

• In Vista, it is possible to find and replace a specific name that I used many files on the hard drive?

  My apologies if someone already asked this (I couldn't find the answer however). I used the name of a person to dozens of (mostly Word) documents that are kept in many different files on my hard drive. I know that I can dig each document separately and then use hidden word and replace the tool to change the name. But this will inevitably take time. Is it possible to do a through - computer find and replace so that I don't have to do this exercise once? Any help gratefully received. Thank you.

  I searched for a way to show the amount of changes here?  My script to find and replace is working however, I would like to see if there are changes 0 or 100 so that we know how much if any of the corrections have been made.  Basically, I want to show him the same type of information as the (Native find replace in Indesign).   I found it... «changes var = ' must be set to the line in function changeGrep()...» I've got an example of script grep for you that replaces the word "December" 'Months' and alerts as to how many changes have been made.

  Oh without a doubt the fault is mine. Last minute search / replacement of a site, by request of the customer. (No matter WHAT last-minute editing is not asking, it's begging, in trouble, but it is also real life.) Still, I can't blame anywhere but with yours truly, but it would be nice if Dreamweaver offers the opportunity to help to protect me from myself, somehow.

  Here are a few things that I tried, and as you can see, Dreamweaver cannot find the H3 tag:

  

  

  If I close it manually one of the H3 tags, and then find and replace can find. I think I can use regular expressions to do this, but I need to understand this too, if that's the only way.

  What do you think? Any idea on how to get rid of 200 H3 tags not closed? Perhaps another application?

  Answered my own question, here is the solution:

  For some reason, Dreamweaver cannot find and replace invalid code, or at least it is not easy to do. My problem was that I had a H3 tag not closed and would not replace it. I had to first close the H3 tag, and then I could replace it.

  I did a find and replace the one sought a ">" followed by a lot of white space, like this:

  

  As my license to close the H3 tag, then I could easily find and replace all now closed H3 tags, like this:

  

• Find and replace works only not for files in folders

  CC of Dreamweaver (version 13.2) find and replace does not work for 'folder '.... ', "Selected files to the Site" and "current Local Site together".  Works great for open files. Older versions worked fine.  What I am doing wrong?

  I'm trying to find a script that either will open a selection of files .ai or browse all open in illustrator files and perform a search and replace. Right now I have a script that runs find and replace, but I must run on each document instead of all my files.

• Find and replace paragraph styles?

  Hi all

  I'm building a desktop, Tablet and phone layouts for a site.  What is the the faster/more easier way to change between layouts paragraph styles?  Is there a way find and replace paragraph styles?  If I copy / paste the contents of the desktop version to the version of the Tablet, and I've set up styles for each layout, how to change styles without manually changing each iteration of the style?

  Example: I paragraph title book BookHdr styles and BookHdrTablet is it possible for me to automate changing all instances of BookHdr in BookHdrTablet?

  There is no way to override the styles heavily; You can, however, change the styles of multiple objects by shift-click to select.

  It is indeed possible, providing some text is inside a tag any.  It could be in a list, title, paragraph, div, etc...  Use of the Research: specific tag option.  See screenshot (excuse the sloppy image).

  I'm not surprised, that you are short of memory.  Try to limit your F & R records or select files rather than the entire Site.
