  installation of oracle in the system applications, you can run any page of the OAF by jdeveloper. If you want to develop any stand-alone page (without oracle application), you can go to the ADF.

I know that I can dig each document separately and then use hidden word and replace the tool to change the name. But this will inevitably take time.   Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  Select the files in Windows Explorer, press and hold Shift and right click on them. Choose copy from the menu in the path. Paste the list in any editor you prefer. You get the full path for each file, but a simple find/replace will clean up if necessary.

  If that's the standard in the world of practice then the people in this world don't know what they're doing, I'm afraid.

  You should never modify a PDF file directly, unless it is the only possible option. You should always go to the original file format, edit it and then generate a new PDF from it. Do it directly in the PDF application problems. Even changing a single letter can cause serious problems with the layout of the file.

  You can convert PDF to Word using Acrobat, but it will never be perfect. The two formats are very different from each other.

  The quality of the result will depend on how the file was created originally. More consistent, it's the standard PDF better will be the result. The general rule 'Garbage In, Garbage Out' applies here. If the PDF file is a mess, if the results of export it to another format will be.

  In the find and Replace dialog box, there is a tab object. You can find your line by its attributes and change. I suggest the setting up and style object and replace all your lines of this style. In this way, the next time you need to change them, you can change the style.

  Regarding the copy of a style of an InDesign document to another. You can just copy something to the style and paste it into the document you want to move to.  (This will not work if the style of the same name exists in the file you are pasting to. In this case, your stuck item would take on the attributes already defined in the new file).

  Apparently, this question was not asked before, or at least the Adobe search engine can not find 'Find replace' in the forums.   Oh without a doubt the fault is mine. Last minute search / replacement of a site, by request of the customer. (No matter WHAT last-minute editing is not asking, it's begging, in trouble, but it is also real life.)   I looked into this and I was able to reproduce the problem. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a perfect solution. Running in the debugger, I found that the failure occurs with the Find() call. All paragraphs, the text ranges, etc. are valid... it's just that the Find() call fails to find anything.

  I found that if you turn on/off the display, all of a sudden the Find() operation works with the hidden document:

  doc. IsOnScreen = true;

  doc. IsOnScreen = false;

  I don't know if this is a practical solution and of course, you may as well open visible in the first place. Would be of no help to just disable the updates with the interface?

  Just be sure to return true at the end of the script

  I'm sorry I couldn't find a complete solution. It might be possible to appeal to something that makes the hidden document searchable, but I did not understand it.

  Yes, regular expressions are supported in FrameMaker 12. Following:

  1. Select Regular Expressions in the Find/Replace dialog box.
  2. Enter (xy) (wz) in the search text field and $1 + $2 in the field of text Change.
  3. Click on change.

  I'm building a desktop, Tablet and phone layouts for a site.  What is the the faster/more easier way to change between layouts paragraph styles?  Is there a way find and replace paragraph styles?  If I copy / paste the contents of the desktop version to the version of the Tablet, and I've set up styles for each layout, how to change styles without manually changing each iteration of the style?

  Example: I paragraph title book BookHdr styles and BookHdrTablet is it possible for me to automate changing all instances of BookHdr in BookHdrTablet?

  There is no way to override the styles heavily; You can, however, change the styles of multiple objects by shift-click to select.

• Rename files using find and replace

  Is it possible to rename the files in LR CC to aid search and replace? For example, I would like to rename all selected photos by replacing the IMG_ by ABC_ string. It is such a basic need that I can't believe that LR does not support.

  LR filename + original number would almost be an acceptable substitute, but it fails if the file name is IMG_9999_HDR because Adobe assumes that the number of original file is always the last string in the name of the file and fails to find the number if is not at the end.
