  Every time I open a file that is located in a shared folder on a drive with r2 Windows Server 2012 (videos and PDF with graphics, in particular), says file takes forever to load, videos often stutter, etc..   I hope some can help; I am trying to use an XP machine to machine IPERF Linux... we tested loads up to 5 (-P5) outgoing connections using XP, but now we want to move to 8... but the connection keeps flat for 3 of them. We tried the 6 and 7, again same problem, anything 5 + said "breaking" we believe that this is a problem in windows limiting the the maximum number of concurrent/simultaneous TCP connections.
