  Certainly a bug: the active window (the Find dialog box) clearly indicates that F is the alt-accelerator-key for Find then the button, but there is no available way to access with the accelerator.  You can tab him and press space sort of workaround.

  someone at - it a reliable piece of SQL or the function that takes the current SYSDATE as a parameter and returns the next date available weekend (SUNDAY)
  
  So for example if it is adopted as of today 01/07/2009 (Wednesday) it returns data 07/05/2009, which is the Date of Sunday following.
  
  Even if I went to Sunday 07/05/2009, it would go back the date 07/12/2009, which is this Sunday.

  Starting essentially, I want to find the next occurrence of the text on the page. Now I have to cmd + c (copy), cmd + f (search), cmd + v (paste), cmd + g (find next), whereas it should be (at least a possibility) to do just cmd + f and cmd + g

  Hmm, under Windows, it works this way, so I'm expecting it to be the same on Mac. For the most part.

  If command-f is not, could you try cmd + e instead? Who behave as expected?

  any way to get find it old bar back? I tried to watch: config and searching online, but couldn't find anything. I was hoping that you can personalize it the way other toolbars and I could remove the flexible space or move the controls.

  Mozilla doesn't do usability testing? I doubt they make because there's no way on the new discovery is easier to use or upgrade the old one.   Why the new search bar is horrible.

  • the keys next/previous occurrence of find are tiny and hard to click. To make them so small, because there are a lot of unused space, there is no reason.
  • the next occurrence of the find has been moved far away from the text box. I almost always want to use the option of the next occurrence search first.
  • Select all, match case and the X to close the search bar are completely the opposite. with ff magnified on a monitor screen is far the textbox control and the next/previous buttons.

  just to remind you how much better the old bar was. everything on the top bar is better and easier to use.

  Here's a better code to move the spacer since its current position before the two buttons to a position after the two buttons to push the close button at the right end.

  Looking for errors like this by doing a search on Google for the name of the file.  Usually, they turn up without success.  Search for amopifat.dll had no success.

  When a search in no hits or suspicious hits result, the answer is usually that the file in question is linked to the malicious software and your anti-malware application has deleted or quarantined file, but left to the Windows registry entry that tries to start the malicious software when you start your computer.

  First of all, download, install, update and run full scans with two of these free analytical tools:

  MalwareBytes AntiMalware
  SUPERAntiSpyware

  Do not run the scans at the same time.  They can take some time, so start an and then go for a non computer chore for awhile.

  If the scans does not solve the problem (and they can't, because the actual malware file has already been processed), then download and run Autoruns.  Click on the "Connection" tab and look in the column 'Image path' for the dll named in your error message.  If it is not displayed in the connection tab, click the "all" tab and use the file > search tool.  A characteristic of the search of Autoruns tool is that you must move the selection under the element line "found" before you "Find Next."

  Once you find the line with the file in question, either "delete" or (if you want to be safer) uncheck the box.  The latter prevents the line running, but you can reactivate it later by removing the check mark.

  Since I tried Norton-specific registry, but the message still appears.

  For example, consider that you do not find a line in the display "Startup" ccleaner which included all of

  • Stop - virus.vbs
  • cscript.exe
  • WScript.exe

  Download and install Autoruns.  Let scanner up to cooking (see the lower left of the window).  Click the "all" tab.  Then file > search and for each of the 3 above.

  If you find the stop - virus.vbs, uncheck the box at the left end of the line.  If you find cscript or wscript, select the line, right click and "copy" then paste it in your next reply here.

  A quirk of the Autoruns to 'find' tool, it's that you must manually move the selection to the bottom of a line then press F3 to "find next."

• Find / highlight the limits or a bug?

  I have SQL Developer 3.1 installed on my PC and find the somewhat restrictive 'Find/nail'. Not sure if this is just a limitation, or be it a bug.
  
  for example,.
  I can query individual numbers, dates, strings and date ranges ("i.e. > 1 January 2012 ').
  
  However, I can't clauses like 'in', 'like' between the two, or the wildcard % to work.
  
  I tried in the versions of Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10 SQLDEV 3.1.
  
  If anyone has had this works please advise. Alternatively, if it is only limited feature let me know and I'll raise a feature enhancement request.

  I guess I have a little misread your question. A filter must support SQL with predicates IN, LIKE, and so on, but I thought you meant the dialog text box to find. CTRL-F to display this window for a SQL or PL/SQL code editor, or the worksheet or the output of the Script. Find/highlight dialog box only applies to networks for the query results or the object browser and does not offer an option for regular expressions.

  Search text includes an option for regular expressions, but it leaves to be desired as in the following thread:

  I've highlighted several lines of text in many places in a document.

  I want to just 'find' text put one by one (as a find next) so that I can simply display the information immediately.

  So far, I have been scrolling and looking for highlighted text, which is certainly not a good way of doing in a medium-to-large sized paper.

• Find and replace not finding!

  I can copy a line of code from one page and paste it into the search window. Then click on Find next it reads - 'finished. None found in the current document.

• Find not highlight first word of the page

  OK, that makes me crazy. Just a simple user you are looking for a word in a doc. When you use SEARCH, it highlights never the first word found on the page! If I click on find next, it will highlight the next word found on this page if there is one. If there is, I know that somewhere in the foregoing is another instance of the word I was looking for. Otherwise, she will move to the next page with that Word, but even once it is NOT highlighted.

• Another BUG in Acrobat 9.4.5 - Find does not work

  I made the mistake of updating to the latest version of Acrobat 9.4.5 and discovered that the search function does not work well.  For example, I have to enter a Word to search for in the 'search' and click back.  In versions, previous PDF would jump to the first instance of the term or phrase and then highlight the word.  Now, the PDF page, but don't highlight the word!  Then... I'm stuck reading the text to find the word, which is a lot of extra work and the time I did not. This is a crucial problem because I'm looking for documents for the terms all the time in my work.

  I found a workaround solution that is not very satisfactory, but it's better than nothing.  Instead of using ' find next in PDF ", I use" Open full Acrobat Search "which is a command on the search dropdown menu.  This command opens a separate window, which is inconvenient because it disappears behind the document if you need to browse the PDF file. However, if I do the research, it shows all instances of a component in the context of the sentence where it appears.  So, if I click on the occurrence of the word in this part two (Yes, two), it will highlight the word in the PDF file. You cannot use the following button as you could in previous versions, because this function will not put the word.  Anyway, given that there are other bugs in this version that I read on this forum, I'll probably go back to the previous version and completely turn off the automatic update feature in Acrobat.  I'd like to come back was a fast process, but I don't think it is.

  I will also tell everyone in my circle of friends to avoid automatically update Adobe Acrobat in the future. Adobe obviously does not test the software well. Wish I could load Adobe for the time and frustration they caused me!
