Find solutions windows 7 only

Hello!

Whenever I search documentation for my installation of windows 7 on support.microsoft.com I get the results not related to my product. I don't even notice "this article applies to a different version of Windows than the one you are using. Content of this article is not relevant to you. "This suggests me to view the"Windows 7 Solution Center"that I found rather lack of helpfulness.
Is it possible to get support for my installation of Windows 7 since the support.microsoft.com site? Can I filter the searches or result in some way?
Thank you!

These windows display ads? They could be 'pop-under' designed to show when you are finished with your main window. Orbitz has these, for example. Irritating. I'm not sure of the best solution, i.e., advertising blocker blocker vs.

If they are not ads, can you think anyway that they are related to the sites you visit?

In addition, to close a tab (or window, if there is only one tab), you can press Ctrl + w. could speed up the process of their release until you find a real solution.

  • Windows cannot find C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe

    Hello

Can someone help me, I am trying to open files and folders, and all I get is Windows can't find C;\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe and stop me so gains access. I was told that I could find the file on another computer stick in my memory stick and reapply, only problem I have is I don't know where its located. I'm on windows XP.

    Thank you very much

Thanks for the suggestion, Lisa!  I tried the link but it says page is more noticed.

You happen to know any other solution for that darn missing file?  I can't open all the apps in my control panel! ACK!

Someone found a solution to this problem yet?  Thanks a lot for any attempt to answer!

    :)

EDIT: I GOT IT!  Browsing the internet, I came across this answer:

Find a copy of rundll32.exe in the folder c:\windows\system32\dllcache or c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386.
If you find it, go ahead and copy rundll32.exe in the c\windows\system32 of the system folder.

Otherwise you need a windows disk to extend this fichier.* *.

I have dd a search on my computer for the file "rundll32.exe" and he came in two different folders on my hard drive.  But it MUST be in c:\windows\system32 (file there lack of).  I found the file in the folder dllcache as shown above, then simply copied and pasted in the system32 folder.  And WALLAH!  Problem solved and control panel and all the rest works just fine now!  So simple!  I hope it works for you, the people who are still struggling with this problem!

    Hello

Rundll32 errors can be caused by malware.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
    cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

  • I have an ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 motherboard. The problem is that I can't find any windows 8 compatible LAN drivers for it.

    Problems of Windows 8 pilots.

I just installed Windows 8 preview of developer on a virtual machine, I have an ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 motherboard. The problem is that I can't find any windows 8 compatible LAN drivers for it. All solutions?

Given that Windows 8 has not been released yet not all drivers will work with him. Some drivers are very precise on the version of operating system, you may need to wait until they release the pilots of Windows 8 (if they make it to your model).

If the drivers do not install, try their installation in compatibility mode.

    Troubleshoot Compatibility

This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:
    (1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.
    (2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.
    (3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs are perhaps not able to run in Windows 8.

    Hello

    1. why you try to reactivate "C:\WINDOW"S\systern321rundll32.exe "?

2 do you get Windows cannot find C:\Windows\Rundll32.exe error?

3 did you changes to the computer before the show?

Response with more information to help you further.

Rundll32.exe program belongs to Windows and is used to run program code in DLL files as if they were in the program.

Also, this file is also commonly used by spyware to launch its own malicious code.

    See the following:

Method 1: See the following article:

Cannot find the Rundll32.exe file when you open the control panel:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/812340

Method 2: I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

, Note 1: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note 2: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Find my Windows product key 8 and Dell service in general.

Hi folx, I'm new to the forum.

I have a desktop Dell dimension 3100 on win XP and in January, I bought an inspiron 660 desktop computer, but the service I am experience leaves many to be honest. They have no knowledge of my purchase, although I bought them online! My service tags are not recognized and I am now almost two months since I bought it; I can't access the support page using my service tag. Absolutely hopeless. What is the point to give e-mail addresses and tags of service etc., if they have no intention on a support, it seems to me that the only thing working at Dell, is the phone line, they don't seem to know how to upgrade its support page. I have sent countless emails and they answer simply say that they have failed to make any progress. Not the Dell company I know. I said to organize the uprising of the inspiron since they cannot support. Where can I find my windows product key? I can't find it anywhere on my computer, is there any way I can find it in the software? I tried to call Dell and they don't have a clue! I wish I had bought another PC now, anywhere but Dell. I bought it because I could not their fault on their support for my old dimension and (stupidly) thought things were the same. More wrong! I have since my old dimension work, so I need the manufacturer cannot support me with a new PC. I want a refund. rant on!

Here's how to find the product key:

Download Belarc Advisor, a free PC audit program with full support for Windows 8, which also functions as a key research tool. Unfortunately, locate manually Windows 8 product key in the registry is not possible, so you will need to use a program like this.

    www.Belarc.com/.../advisorinstaller.exe

Free Key Finder programs to offer more tools like Belarc Advisor but please first try since I have upheld finds it correctly the product keys for Windows 8.

Note: Any search for product keys which announces support for Windows 8 will work for each edition: Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro, and most likely the two editions of Windows 8.1.

Installation of the Belarc Advisor, no matter what the instructions during the installation of the suite.

Run Belarc Advisor (the initial analysis may take some time) and note the product key Windows 8 posted in the section software licenses.

The product key of Windows 8 is a series of 25 letters and numbers, and should look like this: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx.

Note the Windows 8 key exactly as indicated for use when reinstalling Windows 8.

Important: Make sure that each letter and number is written exactly as shown. If even a figure is not properly transcribed, the key will not work to reinstall Windows 8.
