Find variables

I have a sequence that contains an 'IF' statement based on a variable FileGlobal. Is there a way to know where the variable is set / used? Perhaps a watch of some type?

Thank you

JVH

Hi jvh,.

Try to Edit-find/replace (STRG-F) and search for when your variable everything serves the SequenceFile.

I'm sure that you will find the place where it is set.

Hope this helps

    Well, you can hang you want global variable of Qt . You can try something like this:

    hand. QML

    Page {
       Container {
          ListView {
             listItemComponents: [
                ListItemComponent {
                   type: "item"
                   CustomComponent {
                   }
                }
             ]
          }
       }
       onCreationCompleted: {
          Qt.app = _app;
       }
    }

    CustomComponent.qml

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    Container {
        Button {
            text: "Custom Container"
            onClicked: {
                Qt.app.showMessage("This is a test")
            }
        }
    }

    no problem with your import declaration.

    thing is: Error (45.25): cannot find variable operationBinding
    Error (46,14): cannot find variable operationBinding.

    variable 'operationBinding' can not identified by the compiler. Why the compiler is not identified. you did not define who

    so I define the operation binding and intializse that.

            BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
            OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("Here your operation"); //..this is line compiler is expecting. to avoid that.

  • CNV cannot find variable on network

    I start my exploration of the network (NVC) with examples of variables.  Excellent examples.

    Using the project of polling stations, I have the program running on a PC writer.  On another PC, I have the player running program.  I modified slightly so that the path of the network would be selectable by using the sample browser project.

    The drive cannot find the variable network writer.  The browser popup (where the player is running) is the PC that hosts the writer program.  So it's good, in the sense that it checks the two computers are on the same network and subnet.

    But in the browser, the tree is not all associated network variables.  This seems to be a simple problem, but I can't find.

    Also, if I run the application Reader on the same computer that hosts the application to the writer, this popup browser detects the attached network variable.  So, I know that on the same PC, writer and reader work.  Just not on my network (which is kinda the whole point!)

    Here you will find two documents that I have found useful when configuring the network variable scenario:

  • Can't find variable: webworks (sensors)

    It's weird... It does not hurt anything--it just bothers me

    My application running on a Z10 with active Web Inspector, I get an error repeated (many times) connected at startup - then WebWorksReady comes in and they stop

    Looking at debugging they refer to webworks.event.trigger ('devicecompass'...

    The compass works very well and it's initialization is wrapped in a function called after loading webworks

    I wonder if the sensors feature load something before that WW is ready?

    Comes to Dev Alpha C with 10.1.0.1485 as well, but not so many errors (slower device? Beta OS?)

    This is a minor bug that my colleague, Anzor, recently found too.

    We intend to submit a question, but we invite you to make on the public issue tracker and we will worsen internally.

    As far as I can see, you do not get the error messages thrown unless you do a CTRL + r in the WebInspector. We believe that it is because the listeners are not detached, or do not remove only not soon enough, when you perform this update.

  • Captivate 8 javascript error cannot find the variable cp

    I created a responsive project with Captivate 8 trial (windows).  The presentation will be to load and play locally, but when you go from a server, the presentation hangs on the preloader. He won't play in any browser. Safari on Mac Error Log shows the following errors:

    A patch would be appreciated to Adobe.  We are trying to launch a project of e-learning of Captivate on July 31, 2014.

    After reading blog after blog, I discovered the Captivate team changed the variable "cc" to "CP" in the API.  With the previous version of Captivate installed 7 caused the error for the variable javascript missing "cp".  Uninstall the previous version of Captivate and publish the presentation, once again resolved the conflict.

  • How to access a shared on a remote device with a variable IP different during execution?

    I need expert advice. I need to do something that sort of violates the assumptions behind the model of variable communication shared LV I have to be able to read a shared variable since a cRio device when the IP address of the device is not fixed.  In other words, the IP address of the device is known only at run time. Is it still possible?

    The only way I can think that LV would be able to find variable motor device/shared on the remote device is by changing the alias the runtime file and then try to access the variable shared again hoping this will cause also the sv engine note the new IP address and use it.

    Hi Rob,

    Yes it is possible. There are several ways to do so, but here are two. If you have LabVIEW 2009, use the new features for programming of the shared variables in the data communication palette. These just have an address that you can determine at run time. The address is of the form ni.var .psp://machinename_or_ip/libraryname/variablename. Here is an example of selecting a name at run time using these features:

    If you are using a version prior to 2009, you can use DataSocket roughly the same way except that the address forms a little different - psp:\\machinename_or_IP\libraryname\variablename. These are also present in the same range of data communication.

    Either of these methods, you will get better performance if you open the connection once, write several times and close the connection when you are finished. You should avoid opening and closing of the reference variable whenever you want to access the variable.

    Good luck

  • Blackberry10 pushwoosh - is not variable: blackberry

    I'm also looking for a solution to this.

    I implemented the plugin pushwoosh on Android and iOS, but the blackberry10 seems to be quite a struggle.

    I followed this link instruction and I had constantly:

    ReferenceError: Can't find variable: blackberry

    I realized then that I had to install some plugins... I've added:

    • com BlackBerry.app
    • identity
    • invoke
    • JPPS
    • push
    • System
    • UI. ContextMenu
    • UI. Dialog
    • utils

    Here the variable blackberry was present at that time and also the method push but not openBISPushListener. Then, I get:

    TypeError: 'undefined' is not a function (evaluating 'blackberry.push.openBISPushListener(ops, onData, onRegister, onSimChange)')

    When I console.log (blackberry); I have only PushPayload and PushService pressure.

    INFO:

    • Cordova 3.1.0
    • tested on blackberry Z10 device
    • 10.0.10.261 OS version

    Any help is welcome.

    Thank you!

    The API you are referring is a BlackBerry OS (i.e. 5.0 to 7.1) application. From what I understand, PushWoosh is also intended for BBOs.

    The APIs themselves have changed for BB10 and openBISPushListener is no longer used. You can find documentation BB10 here:
    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/BlackBerry.push.pushservice.html#.create

    To implement the push on BB10, you use the WebWorks APIs directly at this time.

  • QML: To access variables defined outside of a list item to in a list component

    Consider the following QML:

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    {Page}
    content: {container
      {Label
      ID: topLabel
          text: «One»
          textStyle.size: 100.0
          textStyle.color: Color.Blue
      }

        Button {}
          text: 'change two.
          onClicked: {}
          topLabel.text = "Two"
        }
        }

        {To ListView
          objectName: "testList".

          listItemComponents:]
          {ListItemComponent}
            type:
            Button {}
              text: "change to three.
              onClicked: {}
                topLabel.text = "Three"
              }
            }
          }
        ]

    maxHeight: 300.0
    }
    }
    }

    The pages defines three controls: a label, a button, and a listview. In turn, each listview item also contains a button.

    By clicking on the button below the label successfully changes the text of the label through this code:

    onClicked: {}
    topLabel.text = "Two"
    }

    However, the execution of a similar code from the button in the listview control fails with this error:

    Test.QML:28: ReferenceError: can't find variable: topLabel

    Apparently, the variables defined outside the listview are not directly visible since in listview items.

    Y at - it available to access syntax?

    Thank you

    Jamie

    OK, we have identified a work around that should solve your problem, as suspected, she was reported linked so a redefinition is necessary.

    At the high level of the Page of the page, add the following line so that the label is accessible.

    {Page}
    ID: topPage

    onCreationCompleted: {Qt.topLabel = topLabel ;}

    Then, in the button definition, you can reference the Qt.topLabel in the list.

    listItemComponents:]
    {ListItemComponent}
    type: 'point '.
    Button {}
    text: "change to three.
    onClicked: {}
    Qt.topLabel.text = "Three";
    }
    }
    }
    ]

    Hope that solves your problem. Of course, it worked on my system.

    I try to find the master text block, contains characters special corrent page number, when I run this code:

    for(i=0;i<masters.length;i++){

    To deal with items found on master pages, use something like this:

    app.findGrepPreferences = null;
    app.findChangeGrepOptions.includeMasterPages = true;
    app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = '~N';
    found = app.documents[0].findGrep();
    for (i = 0; i < found.length; i++) {
      if (found[i].parentTextFrames[0].parent instanceof MasterSpread) {
        // Do something
      }
    }

    Do not understand that. Can you explain?

  • Is it possible to create a variable that tells you what slides, the user has visited?

    Hello.

    I'm working on a project where I want a slide to display a button continue and hide the 2 areas of text, but ONLY when the user has already visited 2 other slides. I can only find variables indicating the slide the user previously visited.

    Is it possible to set a variable that does this?

    I want to create the following advanced measures:

    If the user has visited slides 62 AND 87, image_536 to show and hide text_caption_243 and text_caption_242

    I don't want action be executed if only 1 2 slide have been opened - it must occur when the two were opened.

    Hope that makes sense.

    I use 7 Captivate.

    Thank you.

    You will need two variables, it can be Boolean values. I will label them v_one and v_two with a default value of 0

    Because I don't know how the slides are formatted, do you use a Next button or are all visited media executives? You will need to have an event on the two blades to trigger an action:

    Assign the v_one with 1 slide 62

    And a similar action on the other slides to alternate v_two (do not use the toggle command, if the user accesses a slide twice, it could be toggled to 0).

    You do not specify where these text containers need to be (please, label your objects and slides)? But you'll need advanced conditional action triggered by another event somewhere:

    IF v_one is equal to 1 AND

    v_two is equal to 1

    See the Text1

    See the Text2
