• missing Msmapi32.OSX

  BACKGROUND:

  I have an XP machine special that I've been running VB6 applications over several years.  Recently a problem emerged causing the BONE flow slowly;  antivirus (AVG, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, TDSSKiller) came negative.  This forced me to reload the original XP OS stored on a hidden partition.  I am now reloading all software application, including my own VB6 applications.

  PROBLEM:

  "When I went to run the first application in VB6 (which uses the MAPI interface), I received the following error message to the effect of"msmapi32.osx"is either not registered, or one of its components is missing.  I searched the C drive and have been unable to find "msmapi32.osx".  Note I have VB6 have not installed on the XP machine and can't remember if I already had VB6 intalled as I do all my development on another machine, so I don't know if 'msmapi32.osx' is provided by installation of VB6.  Outlook Express is installed.

  QUESTION:

  I think I know how to register "msmapi32.osx" using "Regsrv32." the question is how can I get a copy of msmapi32.osx?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Here's a tip, if you are interested.  I found msmapi32.ocx on my VB6 a installation disc installed without problem.  It turns out that I also need mci32.ocx who was also on my Visual Basic 6 installation disc.  After the two ActiveX is installed, the application is running.

  I want to set Photoshop CS5 by default to open jpeg files in the Finder (Mac OSX 10.8.5). When I installed Photoshop CC for a temporary job, it is defined as the default, and I don't want so much.

  I followed the instructions found in another forum thread - Finder > right click > information > open with > change all > continue

  But when I hit "continue", it has simply resets to 2014 CC Photoshop in the read window information and does not affect the default setting for all or part of the whole JPEG files.

  Something go wrong between CS5 and CC, it is no longer possible to define default CS5?

  First of all, remember that your account allows you to "administer this computer '.

  Go to the CC 2014 under Applications folder and use the uninstall application to get rid of him.

Directories with fewer files seem to open and display correctly, even when they have similar content (image, in this case files).

  Maybe you're getting confused? Unless you bought the App on the App Store, you won't have it and so you won't find it. What is integrated into the operating system is the ARDAgent, the client part of the App part whole that ARD "exploits".

  You can also something could have trouble with the ARDAgent itself (maybe you've been fiddling with the OS?) and therefore the reason why you ask the question? To see the ARDAgent is installed start the Terminal application - you find the application in the Utilities folder in the Menu go - and type this command:

  system_profiler SPApplicationsDataType | grep ARDAgent

  You can copy and paste the above in the Terminal window. Be patient as this can take some time for the command to run. If successful, you should see something like this:

  /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app

  Which means that you have the client part of the ARD. Once you have checked this and you have not actually bought the application as described here:

  Problem found, but not resolved. Disable the antivirus readynas.

  After installation of windows on a new computer 10. ACCESS the readynas mapped folders was too slow to use it!
  I disabled the antivirus readynas to solve this problem of conexion that seem to solve my problem of refresh Mac os X 10.11.

  If one has the solution / advice to bring / alternatives for antivirus. Debate is still open.

  I bought the printer HP Photosmart Premium e-all-in-one C310 series yesterday night and desperately need to print today.  However, the installation disc is not supported by my Mac happening on v10.7 Lion OSX.   I read on a site that I should be able to access a software upgrade via the Apple website, but could not find the last night.  Help, please!

  Also, I loved the easy set-up using the touch screen and my wireless mode.  No cables needed!   Now, if I can get any software updated today, that will be great!
