Finger fingerprint problems

CVP

Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit

Seems to work very well for connecting to windows, but will not work for Web sites more.

I tried to update the driver, reboot hard and so on.

Help.

I understand that the fingerprint reader does not have to connect to Web sites.

What happens exactly when you try to connect with your fingerprint registered?  Do you get any error messages?  Do you hear the tone that it was an imprint of pass/fail read?

Have you tried reinstalling the software SimplePass found here?  It must be separated from the driver.  You can try to save your registration of fingerprints by the steps found here.

    Hello

    I noticed a new update for software fingerprinting for protected R600.
    Remove the old application of fingerprints, restart the laptop, clean the registry and the system using a 3rd party too (CCLeaner is free and not bad).
    Then reboot again.

    Download the fingerprint on the page of the European driver Toshiba Software and install again.

    Check it out!

  • Finger printing problem.

    SOS, I registered recently finger print security for my computer. It worked fine until today. I open the fingerprint and remove all the prints. I restart the computer and it is said, please login to the registration of fingerprints. However I couldn't connect either because there is no where to click outside the small window which had a finger print diagram and nothing else.

    If it happens at the ignition you should press ESC, then enter your password to Log-In Windows, you can press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and then enter your password.

    Hope this helps

    I think that you need the HP Client and Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools Security Manager.

    Your drivers/software is here:

  • HP TX2 finger calibration problems

    I am having trouble with the calibration of touch of the finger on my TX2 so I ran the calibration routine.

    He plays, without recognizing the keys in a particular corner.

    I can press somewhere near this corner, a few cm of distance, but it doesn't recognize any pressure on the cross.

    It's always the same corner, one that is down right when the computer is in normal phone mode.  (Or the upper left if I bend down in tablet with battery mode to the other direction.)

    This has happened for a long time, ever since I first tried calibration it.  I notice that I have already asked about it in this forum in January and while I had a lot of views, not a single person responded.

    Is it just a touch digitizer doubtful or can be solved with the software?  I bought my computer in October last year, so I hope that I might be able to get this treated as a warranty claim...

    If this problem is with only one corner of the screen, I suspect that it is a hardware problem. Please get intouch with the Technical Support @ 1-800-HPINVENT team. If they diagnose too like a hardware problem, you can get the notebook repaired under warranty...

  • R52 software Fingerprint problem

    Hello

    The other day I updated my laptop using the system update, but now my fingerprint software does not work properly.

    When I go to theThinkVantage of fingerprints for software and click on register or modify fingerprints, I get the error:

    An internal error has occurred (rpnpipe: rpnpipe: No. - svr (00000000fusserver))

    When I click OK, the box closes and nothing happens.

    Also when I start my computer, the fingerprint login screen appears but does not let connect me using only past of fingerprint authentication.

    Is it possible to recover my old version of software or to solve this problem?

    Kind regards

    Well, I fell right on the same problem today with my laptop T43p. fact some research about the 'Levono support Page' and it turns out as the "SYSTEM UPDATE" ThinkVantage has a problem in its matrix, which is pointing on fingerprints 5.8 Release (funny thing is: I don't think that the software is ready for release). Levono so yah. I tried to say IBM does not sell it to Levono.

    Solution:

    1. Delete "ThinkVantage Fingerprint 5.8.xxxx" software from your computer using Control Panel - Add/Remove programs. (May need to restart your Windows XP, don't know whether or not you should)
    2. Get and download the latest version of the ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software (mine was 5.6.2.xxx) published the Levono Support Web site for your computer model portable & type.
    3. Install the .exe that you just downloaded.
    4. Restart your windows.
    5. Fact...

    I hope that things are going well for you!

  • HP ENVY 15 - j028tx: HP ENVY 15 (windows 10) fingerprint problem

    I have upgraded to windows 10 and the fingerprint driver no longer works. I decided to install the new driver on the site of hp drivers and after the installation of the new driver, it shows a symbol yeow in Device Manager and still does not work. my laptop came with a hp pass simple series 6 (version 6.02) and after the upgrade to windows 10 I lost the program. is there a way I can fix the yellow symbol on the fingerprint driver in biometric devices under Device Manager?
    the driver is Synaptics PS (WBF) (PID = 0050) sensor.

    Please help me because I really need my footprint to work

    Thanks in advance

    @Envy-15

    You might be able to use this validity sensor driver:

    validity sensor V 4.5.289.0 sp72114 W7Pro/64 bit WT/64 bit

    In general, 6 HP SimplePass series can run on Windows 10.  It has been and continues to be, a robust and strong code.

    If you really lost the series 6 HP SimplePass program AND if you do not export your Webcards (website / password backup)-you might decide to switch to the newer 8 HP SimplePass series program and always supported.

    Series 8 HP SimplePass is not an 'upgrade' of the old version of series 6 of the program; It is a different code - in other words, a completely different interpretation of the SimplePass product.

    Series 8 HP SimplePass is written by Softex.

    Series 6 HP SimplePass was written by AuthenTec.

    You can, of course, decide to try to launch the series 6 HP SimplePass; the program can work with your new validity sensor driver.

    Series 6 HP SimplePass:

    sp63224 HP SimplePass V6.0.100.276 Win7-8

    Series 8 HP SimplePass:

    sp71729 HP SimplePass V8.01.46A 32/64 bit W7 - W10

    General rules:

    Do pay attention to the order of events when you (re) install your driver and / or software:

    • Sign - in the case of Options - if the system supports native Windows fingerprint logon, you assign and configure a PIN code to activate the sign of fingerprints
    • Validity sensor driver first > restart
    • Software next SimplePass > restart

  • How to enter the password instead of the fingerprint

    I borrowed my brothers computer laptop HP with Windows 7 Home.  He gave me the password of connection and just say, "use the password instead of the fingerprint", but there is only the only thing user of icon on the login page and it requires the imprint, then, how to move if I put the password?

    So it's either fingerporint or nothing?  What happens if the fingerprint reader breaks?

    I expect that the reboot of the machine in Mode safe will not load finger fingerprint driver which would then expose the password input box.

  • Can I put a palmrest on a thinkpad t430s thinkpad t430?

    Hello! I was wondering something. I bought a t430s thinkpad with a crack in the palmrest. I want to replace it with a new one. The price on the palmrest t430 is cheaper than the t430s. That being said, I can put a palmrest t430 on a t430s? Also, I could install an RPF (he has a moment). Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi Bigboy61,

    Welcome to Lenovo Community!

    According to the request, we understand that looking for palmrest share your ThinkPad T430s.

    It is not possible to replace the palmrest T430 to T430s, and part number of the palmrest with or without finger, fingerprint is 04W3495 - keyboard bezel ASM RPF, 04W3496 - keyboard bezel ASM No. - RPF.

    I hope this helps.

  • Item ListView gets deselected as it appears from the context menu

    Since about 10.3.1 I notice that my lists behave in the same way, when I long press on a point I think the context menu to appear, what it does, but when it does so the item is deselected, so in the slot press and hold on I can't access the row for the selected item.

    At all the world feels something similar?

    Thank you.

    OK, problem solved. Here is the solution:

    -When the popup appears entirely because the finger was published the listener to activate slot is called indicating released finger. Problem is ListItemListener example in the docs went something like this:

    void MyItemClass::activate(bool activate)
    {
        // There is no special activate state, select and activated looks the same.
        select(activate);
    }

    Who calls the select slot and it says to turn off. That's why it's happening. Don't know how much this has changed, but this is the situation.

    To fix it I removes the code of slot() activation which allows the selected list item, but a new problem pervades: the element can not get deslected. To manage this I created an instance of ContextMenuHandler(), connected the visualStateChanged to a slit and searched a State ContextMenuVisualState::AnimatingToHidden clear the selections of the listview. So far so good.
