  I would reach this using a slide show.

  Put the two images in the slide show, and then have just a next button with an opaque fill 1%, which was set to be over the switch. When the user clicks, the slide show will move to next slide (which will be State of the switch). I probably also decrease in the duration of the default transition for the melted transition so it's faster than the default value of 3 seconds.

  You forgot to re - install the driver for your video card (and probably several other components in your computer as well).  Although Windows XP has many built-in drivers, it does not all nor always has a driver that uses the full capacity of your hardware.

  If you have a computer of 'brand' such as Dell or IBM/Lenovo, go the manufacturer's website, enter the information to identify your computer and you should be able to find the collection complete drivers needed (except for the material you added after the purchase).

  Otherwise, it will be necessary to identify the manufacturer of each component material and model of each component and get the drivers from separate equipment manufacturers.
