• When I open Firefox, it goes into full screen mode

  Hello!

  Firefox on my Windows 7 pc keeps on 29 roll back over and over and over and over again...

  I put it and after some time when I restart it I find myself with version 29...

  I tried to remove all first uninstall and then delete the contents of some directories appdata but nothing seems to work...

  This really feels like Groundhog Day...

  I guess some sort of update for 0.29 file is stuck somewhere and trying to apply it over and over again, but I can't seem to find where it is...

  Any ideas?

  No, they are not our work PCs...

  I am also computer scientists (I'm a programmer-analyst and sometimes also do something to network admin bit) so I have more access than regular users...

  Having said that, we found the culprit...

  A network administrator who left the top there was a work of "update" from our PC to Firefox 29...

  The work was badly written and kept trying to "update" any Firefox that was not version 29...

  I would update my Firefox later and I see that he demoted version 29 when their server is trying to push the "update"...

  I was not the only job that was trying to get the old version of the application but it seems that Firefox was satisfied the demotion version 29 later...?

  (the only East - ms used switch, which I think is a silent install...)

  It would be worthwhile to open a ticket to request that Firefox will not be so happy to go back to an earlier version?

  I have a Google Nexus 5 last month. I discovered that for update of Google Chrome, I had to have a Google account. I have a Google account, but don't want to use it on my phone. Whenever I run Google Chrome, a message appears indicating that a new update is available. So, I decided to try Firefox. I discovered that if I tried to download Firefox on my phone on this site, asked me to create a new Google account or with an existing log.

  I did some research and came across a question on this site that someone asked how they wanted to download Firefox for their phone without using Google Play. Someone posted the link "https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/latest/android/multi/". I activated the setting "Allow installation of applications from sources other than the game store". I was then able to download the file. I then installed Firefox.

  I'll be able to update Firefox without having to use a Google account, because I downloaded Firefox on this site instead of Google game site? I want to keep Firefox on my phone, but not if I will not be able to update without a Google account as with Google Chrome. I don't know if support for reading is as good as Google Chrome, like when I went to a site where I could play a video in Google Chrome, the video wouldn't play.

• When I open Firefox now goes out of the screen as it does with the website in the address bar, I'm going to.

  In order to enter anything in the address bar, I need to move the cursor to the top edge of the screen in Firefox and the site chosen.

  Try to hit F11.

  It is a toggle that maximizes the window beyond 'normal' maximize and gives you the most possible real estate for navigation, with less waste on the edges and buttons.

  It might be the bad form to mention here, but other browsers use the same key for this.

  Perfect! I never really had the enough can recorder installed on my computer, but I installed a Call Recorder for Skype. It didn't work the way I thought that it would be so I uninstalled. I couldn't remember that it was so I installed each recorder of Skype, that I could find including nice may one. Then I did a complete uninstall of each program using the uninstall program supplied with Advanced SystemCare. I restarted my computer and now it works! Thanks for the help!

  P.S. I was able to find an immediate temporary fix yesterday by browsing through another forum where one of the mods had a fix. He said that the issue had something to do with DEP.

  I beg of you. I thought it was that but wouldn't you jinx. OK Event ID 1000, 100 source is often caused by a built-in virus protection app called adj. Dep, or DEP data, prevent applications (read virus) to launch in 'protected memory space. It is almost not necessary but that's another story.

  He find. It is located in your system control panel > advanced system settings > Advanced Options > performance settings > DEP

  The details of your Question > Details of the most illustrious system an optional parameters file named file user.js in your profile (personal settings folder) folder.

  Firefox uses the settings in this file at startup to override your preferences since the previous session. For some strange reason, a command to restore your previous session often is found in this file.

  Unless you have created the user.js file yourself, you can remove it. There is a section in the following article on how to do it: How to fix preferences that will not save.

  Are you talking about topic: newtabs page?

  Firefox will automatically try to restore the tabs and windows from last session if an accident occurred or Firefox does not close properly the last time.
  If the session blocks once, then you will get the page "well, it's embarrassing" (topic: sessionrestore) the next time you start Firefox.
  You can set the pref browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 on the subject: config page in order to get the about: sessionrestore page immediately with the first start after a collision has occurred or the Task Manager was used for the closing of Firefox.

  This way, you see if the previous session is not close properly or it crashed and deselects the tabs that you do not want to reopen, but will reopen the other tabs.
  If you cannot start Firefox, then you can add this line to the file prefs.js to prevent Firefox to restore the last session automatically.

And the further use of my fast desktop computer has not triggered a return to normal. Chrome shows no signs of the same disease, but from Chrome does a bad job to stop the pop-up windows, and Firefox is going to the other extreme by preventing boxes you want check, etc, I'm not stick to one or the other exclusively.

  I walked carefully and repeatedly through two Goog and options lists, etc. all on fire, but have not found any info or the same terminology that is close to the situation. Not to worry, if he straightens never arise I'll let you know what the problem was.

• Why can I not print in firefox?

  I use Windows 7 and Firefox 31.0. When I go to file, print, the cursur turns for a long time and Firefox must be closed down to continue. No printing to work. I tried to remove Firefox and going back to 30.0 and 29.0.1 without success.
