Firefox "blocks" on the white screen

So this happened from any recently, just a few days ago. When do tasks random or just browsing, with either 1 tab open or 8 tabs open, Firefox will sometimes freeze indefinitely, while the cursor is still an i-beam on inputs and a pointer to the elements of buttons and link. I can minimize the window using the button minimize, but when I open the window again in the bar of the window is now completely white. If I have two instances of Firefox running when this happens, the other ceases to function in the same way.

I'm not set up incident reports and when I close the window or put an end to the task from Task Manager, that it behaves as if I had closed a window, normally not not the restoration of the previous session as Firefox would do if it actually crashed and the crash report managed it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
  • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • Lenovo Y510P does not start, the white screen at startup

    Hello world

I got a Lenovo Y510P with SLI 750 m for about 1 year and 3 months now. 2 weeks (at the time, that I've upgraded to Windows 10). My laptop is suddenly unable to boot most of the time.

When I press the power, it hangs on the initial empty screen with no logo pop up. I managed to get it started before, simply by restarting again and again, but it's been 3 days and no luck. He simply stays on a blank screen (no), although the keyboard button and the power light.

Here are the steps I took to solve problems:
-> Battery removed, disconnected ca, played "suppression of ephemeral power" now the power button for 60 seconds (did it this several times)

-> RAM removed, changed slots etc. When there is no RAM, the computer continuously restarts
    -> Deleted HARD drive, reinstalled

-> Removed 2 GPU. When the 2nd GPU is plugged in, the fan will try and turn from time to time

-> Connectors disconnected to the wi - fi module

    -> Restarted several times

-> Press the NOVO button, he just brings him to the white screen

Any advice would be much appreciated. The laptop itself is in good condition and has little physical ware. Unfortunately, is no longer under warranty, and I don't know the cost to send it is quite high.

  • Variation on the white screen of death - Sansa Fuze.

I get the white screen of death, but my problem is unique in this sense: I can turn on my rocket, browse my menu and enter in the subsections of the menu, for example, Mian Menu > settings > Panel configuration, but when I click on an option, say, format, white screen, reboots of my rocket, and the screen is frozen on the logo screen.  Help, please

Sounds beyond any help that is initiated by the user (reset, format, firmware, re - install, etc..). I would like to, or send it back if you are in the window to return to your dealer. If this is not the case, call SanDisk directly to a likely RMA replacement if it is less than 1 year old.

  • Qosmio F30 - green blocks and the white vertical dotted lines

I turn it on and it starts to initialize. However, I get green blocks on the screen and the dotted white then wertical, then a black screen.

Can someone please help with this?

    Hello

Just a simple question: If you have connected an external monitor?
Maybe the screen inside is defective and so these lines appear and you can t see Windows.
    Check this box!

In the worst case, it s related to the motherboard or graphics card and they must be exchanged. :(

  • Reinstall Leopard after the white screen?

I have an iMac that came with Tiger. He upgraded to Snow Leopard and Lion.

Today it froze with the rotation of death beach ball. Off with the power button, it starts. That he is a white screen, no edge start-up, no logo. also, one or two attempts resulted in a circle with a slash through it.

The optical drive does not work, so I inserted the drive in an external drive and have been able to get the installation window upward. Please see the picture:

The button options says there is not enough space and I need to erase and install. How can it be when it shows 112 GB of free space?

More importantly, is that what this will solve the problem?

If you have installed Lion you should have a recovery partition. What happens when you restart while now command-R

Back lion to Snow Leopard, you must clear the disc. You have no backup to restore right?

  • Cannot undo changes to display because of the white screen

    Laptop Lenovo G510; Windows 7

I'm trying to set up the laptop to an external monitor via HDMI. I tried a setting, but it didn't work. However, the laptop screen went white and now I can't undo the changes.

Upon restart, the screen works up until the start of window screen, and then it turns off as the computer continues to boot.

Start in safe mode works, but I can't access the properties of the graphics from there.

Tried to unplug the HDMI cable, but does not help.

How can I report the default display settings without doing a hard reset? (It isn't my own computer)

Ok. I solved the problem by returning to a previous restore point.

  • Y560: Start in graphic mode for low-power (switchable) causes the white screen

Essentially, when I start my laptop with graphics mode intel, I get a white screen just after Windows Startup logo. Enter the bios and change to discreet single mode works very well. Uninstalling drivers intel allows me to start the chip intel with windows default drivers, and the next logical step would be to simply reinstall them, however...

The problem of mixture is that while several installations of graphic driver intel are listed in the Lenovo support box, only one of them seems actually contain graphics drivers, with the rest just install the drivers of Power Boost for the processor, and even then, I still get black after installation screen. Worst of all, there seems to be no Intel video driver on the recovery partition. I'm really at a loss here. I can live with only mode high power of work, but I want to solve this problem.

    Problem solved.

Did a forum search and downloaded informal solution of Leshcat. Solved my problem and got a new version of the ATI drivers which is available on the Lenovo site out of it. A little sad that Lenovo may not get their shit straight, but whatever.

  • The white screen.

Can you tell me if white screen, it's my graphics card or video card that needs updating? and could you tell me what would be the best card as a replacement for the system, I am running? The system I am running is AMD Athlon (TM) 64 processor 3500 + 2.2GHz Ram 1.00 GB 32 - bit operating system 3.1 rating.

If I turn the screen and manually disable the screen returns to normal vision, it happens about 3 times over a period of 4 hours.

    Hello jasoncoker,

    1. don't you make changes to the computer (hardware or software) before having this problem?

This problem can be caused if the graphics card drivers do not react. I suggest that you update the drivers for the graphics card and check if you have the same problem. You can refer to the link below, which will give you information on updating a hardware driver that is not working properly:

  • Sansa Fuze stuck on the white screen after disconnecting.

Once I unplugged my Sansa Fuze on my PS3, it got stuck on a white screen. None of the buttons worked and I couldn't turn it off. I decided that the only thing I could do was to let the battery die and charge it again. Finally, he died and I plugged it in, it loads to full is the same thing. So I tried again, except I only left it plugged in for a while and disconnected. My music has arisen and it seems to work, but it stops immediately by the lack of power. Now no matter what I have plug in, it lights at all. I connected it to my computer and installed the drivers for it, but the rocket itself did not come, and the computer says it has malfunctioned and pilots have not been recognized. So now I can't listen to my music or anything like that. Help?

Drag the spring-loaded power switch in the highest position for 20-30 seconds. (note that in extreme cases it can sometimes it may take a minute). Release and see if it boots normally.

  • The white screen help

I'll take my 4 GB fuze and the display went dark. I've disconnected from the computer and then view in white. I tried to reset by holding down the button market / stop, but nothing changes. I plugged it in to the computer and still a white screen.

Is there something I can do?

    Firmware is 1.02.2b

Try setting the lock, then move it out of position and then Lock now from a position of strength. I used to get it too much before 1.0.2.26A and here's how I fixed it at the time. It would happen only if I left that it plugged in all night. After repair you, update this firmware!
