V40.0.3 Firefox crashes every time you start from the top.

Road, passes this week, have been using Firefox for 18 months without any problem. Upgrade to 40.0.3 seems to be a problem. I change the theme on 40.0.3 of loading, but returned immediately after classic theme. It seems that, since then, I had the problem, but I've also updated Java recently too.

I added the id of the accident according to the submitted incident reports

The apparent cause of this accident is an application called Websense end point. Disable this program or add-on [if it is installed in Firefox] and see if the crash stops.

See Websense for support.

  • Firefox crashes every time you start

First of all, I was able to open Firefox and it crashed after a few minutes. When I tried again, the same has happened. I could start Firefox in safe mode. Now, not even that works. When I run Firefox, the screen goes black and the computer freezes for a second. When I click with the mouse, it opens a window which tells me that Firefox is not responding, so I shut. This happens in safe mode, too.
I checked after a computer virus, but there are not. Also I have updated everything (except Firefox, because I can not open it and did not update an option), but nothing.

Your accident report is https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/70c7e7fc-663e-4001-9105-9f1732120808 and links to related bugs.

This looks like a problem that occurs when you set as your homepage in Firefox Google. Try to start Firefox Safe mode again (hold down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox). If you can get it to boot, change your homepage to something else than Google or reset the default home page (subject: House)-see How to set the home page.

  • Still crashes every time you start

    Hi there dear people,

I just got a new computer system (double six cores, 4 GB graphics, 24 GB of ram) installed with a brand-new version of CS5 on it. Every component works fine so far, except... Yet. Sorry to say that still has been me bothering for the first version, but I guess it's just a problem of first-time this time.

I start again, press 'OK' to create a new project, count to ten and BOOM the Win7 help dialog box appears suggesting to stop the program.

    Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Tom

    Hello

Try running again as an administrator and check whether work then you are having some permissions problems for. (Right click again and select run as administrator), make sure that all of your audio and video drivers are updated.

You have installed the Master collection CS5 / Production Premium CS5 / first Pro CS5?

    Have you checked the updates?

  • 9.01 Firefox crashes every time when connecting to the first web page

Firefox worked normally for centuries and today began hanging whenever I open it and it attempts to connect to a web page. I tried to reinstall, but I was told that it was unable to copy because the element 'libnspr4.dylib' is in use (even if I force - quit the application). I then Firefox to the trash in order to reinstall it and still had the same problem. Restarted the computer and the application several times; tried to start in safe mode, all to nothing does not.

Under the direction of add: The problem occurs with any Web page; before I reinstalled it, it would happen when I tried to 'connection '.... "for any web page. Now that I have reinstalled it, it tries to connect to the home page of Firefox on launch and is automatically suspended.

-Very well, as OP does not answer you, I'd try to find a solution to this problem. I do not use Cisco AnyConnect. I'm having exactly the same problem with the same details of system that OP provided.

  • 2013 iMac OSX10.9.1 and Photoshop CC, crashes every time you start the CC PS.

I have an iMac of 2013 with a 3 TB drive, 16 GB merger and RAM and spin 10.9.1.  I just bought the special photography Lightroom and Photoshop.  After you install both applications whenever I open Photoshop, I get the splash screen, the window of the program and a few seconds later, the beach ball starts and never goes away.  While it does nothing works in PS, menus, icons, etc.

Lightroom and Bridge very well seem to work? I even installed the latest version of Java as suggested elsewhere in the forums?  Still do not understand this.  Uninstalled and reinstalled several times with accurate results?

Then why did you say "crash"?  Crashes and deadlocks are very, very different behaviors.

And it seems you're hooked to a panel of Flash or any script UI, and it is suspended waiting for LogiCameraLock (LogiWiFiCamera)...

You will need to remove or update the driver for the camera.

  • Creative cloud forgets to reduce in the Systray every time you start

    Hello everone,

After the update of the creative cloud (2.1.1.110 of course) it seems that every time you start Windows the creative cloud window appears in the foreground. The option 'Minimize to Systray' is always chosen, and even if I mark it and minimize the CC, after a reboot the window is still there. It seems that CC forget, that it should not pop up and minimize itself the silently in the systray (like any other program smoothly). Are there any suggestions how to fix this? The registry tweaks?

Jens, try please upgrade to the latest version.

    1. remove the cloud creative app.

Firefox crashes every time when I activate a flash plugin. It started today after an automatic attempt to update shockwave. I uninstalled flash and installed again. Always the same story. There is no previous version of flash available on the adobe site. What should do?

In the menu do help-> Check For Updates and follow the instructions to get 3.6.6 who will stop the Flash blocking Firefox.

  • InDesign crashes every time you double-click to open a file on Windows System .indd

InDesign crashes every time you double-click to open an InDesign file and has done so since the replacement of the original version of InDesign into the launch of CC.  Does anyone else have this problem?  I would say it was unique to my system if I had not met the problem several times on several different systems now.  You must restart InDesign which then opens the recovery file, so he saw the file you are trying to launch in the first place.  This leads me to believe that the problem lies in the registry file to InDesign inside Windows systems association.  I find it incredible that this problem still exists and remains declared that a solution has not been implemented by Adobe to rectify the problem.

Double click is a fundamental tenant of open files on a Windows system in the same way, that a click is on a Mac.  Does InDesign crash ever time a Mac user clicks to open their records, I don't think.

Someone at - it ideas other than the obvious which is Adobe actually released their figure and fixed it.

    See you soon,.

    Pat Doyle

I'm on Windows and I double-click on freely and I do not experience this problem.

Yes, I think you're onto something when you identify yourself as a registry problem. Maybe try another registry cleaner/checker? Maybe someone has published the specific registry fix.

If you uninstall, restart, then clean the registry, then reboot, then reinstall, you may have the opportunity to fix the registry corruption.

  • HP Pavilion dv2700 laptop displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed" every time you start

    Hi @all,

I have a HP Pavilion dv2700 - kh933ea laptop computer #abv (it is a HP Pavilion dv2799ee Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC to be exact) that displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed. Press F1 to continue"every time you start the system. My OS is Windows 7 / 32 bit.

Then I updated my BIOS to version 2.4e, 01-dec-08 Phoenix (the SMBIOS version remained the same before 2.4), but the issue is not resolved. I have attached a screenshot for processor and BIOS versions.

Can someone guide me on how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

I don't see the screenshot of your post attachments. Please repost them.

This error message means that WHAT BIOS is damaged. You will need to have the BIOS flashed in a mobile shop, repair a BIOS or an HP Service Center. Do a search online with Google or Bing repair for a BIOS.  If you keep trying to update the BIOS there will come a time where everything you have a black screen.

  • (Legitimate) -Pop-up Windows every time you start Firefox

So, lately every time I start Firefox, the new browsing session retrieves the pop-up windows during previous sessions (since the last time or even some of love it, three days ago), I long closed down. My boot option was always "show my windows and tabs from last time ' who used to do exactly this: pick up the tabs I had open or start with a new blank tab if I had opened. Now, however, whenever I open FIrefox I get different windows of previous sessions.
The problem here is that this doesn't SEEM to be a malware issue because I don't get weird ad/questionable windows but "legitimate" pop ups I me remember I started personally is to say a photo or an image of a trusted site that opened in a new window or a help section on amazon.com , etc.
This is a first and as you can imagine it has become very annoying. I use Firefox 25.0.1.
    Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello waydown, maybe the files in your profile folder that contain session restroe data was corrupted - perhaps trying to remove them, so that they can get regenerated properly next time: go in firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on file/show profile folder and close all firefox windows later. a windows Explorer window should open up - in there remove all files starting with sessionstore ...
