Firefox crashes on opening a few seconds. has all of a sudden started several weeks ago and I have not been able to get since. I reinstalled but update did not work. It will not be open even in safe mode. Help!

  I found my profile.ini for Firefox file by using the information in your message *http://kb.mozillazine.org/profiles.ini_file. There were 2 profiles in the ini file, so I deleted one and kept the other one who had the same name as the folder profile and saved the ini file. Bingo-test - Firefox works! I think the graphics card driver update helped also that IE works properly now as well.

  Real Player download all videos in mp4, it depends on the video that you download.

  To me, it seems as Real Downloader download videos in mp4 more often rather than a flv. recent files.
  If the video you downloaded is a mp4 file you can still play it in another media player like Windows Media Player, but for me, most downloaded with Real Downloader mp4 files have no sound when played in Windows Media Player.
  As you probably know, you can buy Real Player Plus for read, trim or convert mp4 files in RealPlayer. If my guess is that it's way to Real to get people to buy Real Player Plus. Or maybe not, I had this same problem and I don't know what the cause is at the present time.

  So, I tried several things in the troubleshooting here in support articles, but none solved my problems.

  Basically, after that automatically put Firefox updated to 40.0.2, the browser crashes a lot on the opening and closing of tabs, loading Web sites as well. When idle, the CPU/RAM usage is normal, but opening or closing of tabs uses a lot of CPU (most of the time, 100% of the CPU is used in navigation) and it crashes every time. Scroll to the bottom of pages also allows the browser to hang. I tried to deactivate several plugins and extensions and I even tried to use the safe mode, but even in safe mode, it happens constantly. I'll post the specs of my computer (no), but don't forget that those issues didn't happen before the update.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problem.

I turned off the computer and restarted a few hours later. I downloaded firefox 10 (still higher version than the one I was updating of a month) from google chrome and installed it. so thank you for your comments and help!

  This seems to be a Roboform. Install the latest version of Roboform 7.6.2 should solve this problem according to the related Bug 691271.

  When I open Thunderbird, it charge about 16 MB in RAM, and wedge. If I'm lucky, I can open Thunderbird using the Windows safe mode and safe mode of Thunderbird, run the program as administrator, but only once. Fail other attempts to open the program.   Could you test in a clean profile? And more without going through your currently installed extensions and custom parameters, you need database parameters completely fresh and cool a cache folder.

  There has been a number of reports on the debris with publication on Flickr.  Some reports seem to related to LR 4 and perhaps upgrade to Yosemite (OS X 10.10), others for LR 5.  You could try the free trial of LR 5 to see if that solves the problem (and then pay for the upgrade to LR 5 or wait an unknown amount of time to move to 6 LR or move to LR CC).

The author has an excellent reputation and, unlike Adobe, it is very handy.  (He helped design LR publication-plugin for Adobe architecture).

  I can't get a calendar for reading in PP CS5.0.3 with existing or new projects (Win 7) on any video source, be it on my Canon 5 d 2, Sony CX550 or simple AVI. The last time I used the PP was several weeks ago and it was working fine then.

  Everything seems to work fine except the reading. Space bar will switch to the play button in the monitor window, but nothing happens, even if by clicking the play button. It will make a timeline when pressing enter, but playback is not subsequently. The monitor displays the video as expected when you drag the slider on the timeline bar.

  I tried the sledge hammer to disable, uninstall, reinstall, re-release to date and get the same results. I also tried CS5.0.0 before the update and got the same results.

  No viruses and very little other software on my studio box and no new software other than Windows updates and NVidia driver since the last PP time worked.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Thank you for the suggestion, it turns out be closely related to my problem. I checked the PR of the audio driver configuration and he somehow got the value 'First Pro WDM Sound'. I put it back on "EMU ASIO" and all is well now.

  Sorry, you have problems.

  For any future reference. Those of us who mess directly with: config soon find out how to get errors and it is wise to backup. Occasionally backup of your entire profile for example can be useful and would probably give you a quick solution of the copy on the file from the backup.

  • Backup and restore Firefox profiles information

  OK on the topic to try to get Firefox back as it was:
  Find your profile and the prefs.js file and rename that. (The renamed file is a potentially useful backup.) Firefox is then forced to regenerate the file and will reset your default preferences. You can then re open and use Firefox. Then, try to return to normal.

  Try to manually change the file prefs.js is normally a bad idea. However, if this is a one-time change prefs it would be possible to directly edit the prefs.js file (while Firefox is closed) to get everything back to how it was before. You have the file renamed to work with. Probably best to test this in a new additional profile so only break you test additional essential Firefox profiles profiles works do not.
