Firefox does not work! Help please...

At first I just receive this message:

EXC in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

But it has always worked, I was able to find and continue to use the internet. Then I disabled the add-on of McAfee, and the error has ceased to appear.

But then two days ago I got this new error:

"Unable to connect".

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server www.google.com.au

 The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
   moments.
 If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
   connection.
 If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
   that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

And now I can't use Firefox at ALL. Every time I open firefox, I get above error. I tried a few things suggested, I uninstalled and reinstalled, I tried to disable all add-ons
I rebooted and checked the proxy settings, and I made sure that the firewall is ALLOWING firefox. Nothing has worked yet. Always impossible to use firefox.

It is not my internet connection because I am currently using Internet Explorer and its working fine.

(Windows): for best results, you need to uninstall McAfee Site Advisor from Control Panel > add/edit programs (programs and features). Restart the system. Then http://www.siteadvisor.com/ reinstalling and reboot the system. Installation of other waste (crapware) suggested applications.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

Hmm, a strange thing to have disappeared. Do you have a virus or checked for malware scanner?

The mouhid.sys file is supposed to be in % systemroot%\system32\drivers. You pouvez find a copy of it in % systemroot%\dllcache. If it's not in... \drivers and is in... \dllcache, recopy the... \drivers. (You may need to do this in Mode safe.)

Except for the above bit of luck, there are several ways to recover.

1. use msconfig:

Get your installation CD or locate a copy online
Since an administrator account, run msconfig ( -R, msconfig)
When "msconfig" opens, select the "Général" tab and click on the button "expand file...". »
(This will open the window to "Develop a Source of Installation file")

Enter 'mouhid.sys' in "file to restore:

Just use your common sense and use SP3 where the article refers to SP2.

Be sure to Select the appropriate language if you download ISO.
