Firefox jumps 32.0 Ditto

I use Ditto (Clipboard Manager). Sometimes, when I'm looking I type a few words in the address bar and then add a commonly used Word or phrase with Ditto.

THE PROBLEM
Since I've upgraded to Firefox 32.0 today, whenever I'm sticking Ditto it replaces what I typed in the address instead of being appended to the end bar.

This never happened to 31.0 FF or recent versions.

I came to 31,0 FF for now.

This happened to someone else? Is there a solution?

Kind regards
Joe

Well, I guess nobody around here use Ditto and can check the problem you are experiencing. Given that Firefox is one of the 4 major browsers and Sourceforge hosts tens of thousands of programs, I think it will be easier to find a Ditto user who uses Firefox to find a donor to Firefox which happens to use Ditto. I for one use a program different Clipboard called Clip Trakker and have not had the problem you describe with Firefox 32 and Clip Trakker.

Sorry, I do not install new programs that I have no use to try to help users - who give up 8 or 9 years after having had too much problems after the installation of programs to try to help another user.

The only other thing I can suggest is to file a bug report and I hope that one of the people followed Bug could have an answer for you.

  • Mozilla Firefox crashes at startup without any accident or error message either.

Today, when I double click on the icon for Mozilla Firefox, jumped out of the window for a second and then the moment after moment he disappeared suddenly. I can't access Firefox, not even in Safe Mode, Compatibility Mode, run as administrator or another mode.
I tried re-installing, did not work. I get no message crash, it just closes by itself. Firefox.exe will appear in the Task Manager when I double-click it in Windows Explorer, and it disappears when the window disappears, the moment after moment.
I have Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Never encountered such a problem before.

There is no crash report, the crash window appears, so no accident report is generated. I can't access the troubleshooting information, because I can't operate of in Firefox.

I managed to find the problem. Apparently, an add-on installation page has been implemented service by default in my browser for a reason, and it has closed several times himself, so closing the browser. When I opened an HTML document on my hard drive, it has opened in a new tab and maintained this page Add on open in another tab. If Mozilla remained open. But when I went to the tab add-on, the closed tab itself. But Mozilla is open! Yay!

Also tried to hit history - recently closed tabs to reopen this page, but it keeps itself closed, so I don't know what add-on which would be. In any case, now, I managed to solve this problem, because the tab is closed, so I hope that my home page will pop up then, instead of this thing with the add-on.

  • Not up to date Version 34 do not remain.

I often have a dated version 33.0 at 34.0.But next day when I checked appear version 33.0.Why this trouble occurs.

34 Firefox beta will not be released until 11-25.

Firefox 33.0.3 is the version current output ; the "33" version 4th, broadcast since 14-10.

There is no "update" live Firefox 33 to 34 Firefox beta. Once you are on a 'channel' you are on "channel" until you install the other version. And I never heard talk about Firefox jump to another version, unless the user had inadvertently installed versions and the shortcut on the Windows and Office "has achieved its crossed wires" he pointed the wrong executable file.

  • I wish I could press a key digital while in my favorites and access this letter or digit in my list?

If you think about it, then you must accept.
As a user saves bookmarks (BM), the list grows and grows.
It takes time for the mouse scroll all BM join the BM desired.
Having the ability to press any alphanumeric while in those list BM can help speed up the process of getting to the part of the list of the world BANK that is desired.

Also, I'm always a bit sure about how WB separators can help me work with my BM selected.

My main goal here is to be able to open my list of WB and to quickly navigate to a particular WB in my list. For example, if I have a BM titled ski in the Alps, but I'm at the beginning of my long list so I want to be able to type in the letter "S", then in my list of BMs and jump right to the BMs, starting with the letter "S".

I realize now, after studying the writings on BM, I can use Tags. But this isn't what I'm looking for here. Suppose I want to just skip at the beginning of the "S" BMs in my list that do not have a tag. So in this case having the ability I am talking about here would be very useful.

If you open the bookmarks in the sidebar, and then you click to the left in the list of bookmarks and then pressing one or several letters will make Firefox jump to a bookmark that begins with those letters.

If you press more than one letter then you will need to act quickly enough to avoid starting a new search.

If pressing of ' and 'k' should get you to bookmark him begins with "sk", you can repeat this to go to the next match.
Note that this works only if the record with this bookmark is open and the bookmark or folder is visible.

  • 26.0 Firefox works do not correctly with Mac OSX 10.9.1. Text jumps from one side to the other spontaneously

I used firefox on Mac computers for years. I am now under Maverick Mac OSX 10.9.1 and have major problems with sizing of text in windows and windows suddenly change size (much smaller) and jump on the left side of my desk. Apple does not support Firefox, so I can't get assistance on their part and Mozilla is impossible to contact them directly. Can someone please help with this problem?

You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    • View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); 0 + Command on Mac)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

    Thank you.

Could you please provide more concrete steps to reproduce this problem? I'm unable to reproduce what you are talking about.

You can also try safe mode:

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.
