Firefox reset will erase my stored sessions?

Hello
Had the malware to yahoo and need to get rid of it by resetting my firefox.

I use Firefox a LOT sessions, so am worried that I will delete all sessions recorded when I reset firefox?

Firefox reset will erase my stored sessions?

Thank you
Richard

Is the toolbar in the toolbar area? If you switch to full screen mode, this area will usually slide upward and out of sight. You can switch between normal view and full screen by pressing the F11 key.

Usually, an additional toolbar in the toolbar area is added by an extension. Oddly enough, your "more details of the system" does not show an obvious extension of Yahoo!:

Name: Firebug
Name: MeasureIt
Name: Session Manager
Name: AVG Security Toolbar
Name: HP Smart Web Printing

???

If the toolbar is your home page (the page that is displayed when you create a new window using Ctrl + n), you can reset your default homepage using either:

Problems with Windows (installed programs are NOT displayed is the Control Panel / programs and features).

When I got the laptop, she had 2 partitions (visible), a C:\ with almost the entire HARD drive is assigned to the and a D:\ (Recovery) of about 30 GB.

I have since created two partitions more and resized C:\.

At the present time, I have C:\ (100 GB), D:\ (The recovery partition, didn't monkey with it), E:\ (654GB) and F:\ (100 GB).

If I launch a factory reset by using the F11 key, or the recovery disks that I created, it will erase my E:\ and F:\ partitions and re-create a huge C:\ partition? Or he will leave E:\ and F:\ intact and just reset the OS in the C:\ partition (100 GB)?

Please answer, I have things in my other partitions that I can't lose...

    Thank you.

    Hello:

If you use both methods, the hard drive will be reset to its status of "out of the box", then Yes, you will lose the partitions and the data on them that you created.

  • After the last update of Firefox, browser will not restore previous session after accident/quit. It restores the old pages, not newer. And no ' oops! embarrassing page.

Has taken my MacBook Pro to repair and they have updated my software, including apparently Firefox. I have FireFox 50.0.2 Mac OS x 10.9.5. Now I no longer get the "Oops!" It's embarrassing"page after a crash or a restart, and when I click on 'restore previous session', Firefox opens again the old pages, which some I no longer need and do not open most of my recent pages. I think I clicked on all the right settings, including "remember my story." Someone knows what to do? Thank you!

You may have corrupted sessionstore file (s). Delete all files sessionstore * and the sessionstore-backups folder.

Type of topic: support in the address bar and press to enter.

Under the logo of the page on the left side, you will see Basics Application. Under this find Profile Folder. To his right, press the button view file. This will open your file for the current profile of Firefox browser. Now close Firefox.

Find the file above. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

  • How can I erase the active sessions and / or authenticated at a granular level?

When I visit a Web site and I authenticate either via username or certificate / States PKI, identification and authentication information is stored somewhere. I want to know where that somewhere, so I can cancel these one at a time manually.

I understand that I can go into the Options and clear browsing data - and Yes, this will accomplish the same sorta thing - however, it will kill ALL my sessions authenticated through ALL my tabs. I would like to know if there is a manual way where I can do BY the site, while it is not a such brute force method.

Last note: I don't want to close all my tabs (Firefox completely quit). Nor do I want to go through the options to do. If I can be educated to know where is my session store location and authentication, then this will answer my question.

I am an advanced user and have no problem working my way around my system to fit my needs, I don't know where to find this database store.

It is likely not possible since it is to disconnect from the secret decoder ring (CSD) and the sending of a notification to close all http and ftp sessions (net: clear active connections).

    See 'sessions' in chrome://browser/content/sanitize.js

  • In older firefox if I stop firefox.exe to the Task Manager and start firefox it will restore all my open tabs, now it doesn't

usually in the earlier version as 28, so I end the process "firefox.exe" task manager and run back the firefox, it will restore the tabs normally I opened (websites that I had until I stop the firefox.exe)
But now that more recent versions, not give me this feature, restore session screen becomes white and I drop my open sessions.
I have to use the history to restore the sessions that I lost,

Please can someone take a look at this problem, it would be an interesting option to stop the firefox.exe in the Manager of tasks and able to restore all the sessions again

I have attached a picture for your information

    Thank you
    regarding

Unfortunately the image have no download, but there are built in the back of the inverter session. If these do not work correctly, we are happy to investigate.

However, there is an addon that helps with backups called session manager Session.

  • Firefox STILL will not let me add a security exception

Firefox STILL doesn't let me add a security exception. This problem has been raised zilions of times.

A partial solution is available here (if I uncheck the box of the permanent exception, it will record.)

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/987476

But I need to do everything twice to pass.

A second solution, i.e. the distance CA as explained here

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/1020629?ESAB=a & As = AAQ

is temporary and does not work when you clear your history (CA is still there).

Can please, please, fix you? It worked very well with just 1 click on "confirm security exception" until 1 year ago. Why complicate things easy?

Hello, please try to reset firefox and see if that can solve the problem: Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

  • 64-bit Firefox developer will not allow silverlight for installation

Silverlight will not appear in the extensions. Uninstalled reinstalled several times but always tells me to install silverlight to watch People or open a photo in slideview in hotmail. Both are 64-bit. Developer of Firefox is great, so quick and smooth. Y at - it a different codec or something that I can use instead of "unsupported" silverlight? Qickflix is ok in chrome 64-bit because it downloads its own People drive application. Thanks for all the tips for this browser.

Since you are Testing Aurora aka Developer Edition, which currently Firefox 41.0 on this channel you see changes that 41.0 exit Firefox users will see but earlier.

The only Plugin that is currently white listed for Win64 41.0 Firefox to use the system's Flash Player 64-bit.

If you want to use other Plugins, you can use a 32-bit version of Firefox.

  • Why Firefox always opens with the last session tabs?

When I open firefox always opens with the last session tabs? How can I solve this problem?

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.
You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: 'Open with'; do not double-click).
The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can remove the user.js file if you do not create this file yourself.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

Windows hides certain default file extensions.
Among them are .html, .ini and .js, .txt, so you can see only file name without the file extension.
You can see the type of actual file (file extension) in the properties of the file via the context menu in Windows Explorer.

  • Firefox reset without my intervention, I lost all my saved pages and passwords as well as history. Why what happened?

I'm not sure of what has past. I don't have firefox reset or clear my history/information. My computer was in trouble the other day (had it made for many and it froze) but I don't understand how that could impact firefox I have yet all my documents on my computer. I'm more interested in recovering the information I had on my firefox, I got a lot of important Web sites and saved passwords. I would also like to know why this happened.

    Thank you!

  • Firefox don't remember my last session

Firefox has always remembered my last session and restored all the tabs when I came back. Now he comes and tells me the output I'm closing multiple tabs. That's happened? Now I'm back to my homepage. It's weird. How to always restore my last session?

It's like that for quite some time now. Firefox saves your browsing session all the time; have Firefox always open your previous session is set in Options > general = when starting Firefox - view my tabs, windows, and last time

  • It is true that Firefox v11 will fully support Adobe Flash and when you go to make a version of Thunderbird mobile.

I'll buy a HTC Merge soon and I would like to know if Firefox v11 will fully support Adobe Flash and if I decide to use v10 now this method would work https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-mobile-doesn ' t-support-flash? e're = & as = NAQ if I wanted to watch flash videos on lets say on the Vimeo site also there are plans for a version of mobile of Thunderbird? I am an avid user of Thundrbird and would like to have on my Android phone.

Mobile Firefox should work on this phone given specifications. Although we have not tested specifically on this phone.

Firefox 11 will support Flash player Android. The Flash Android player is somewhat limited. Although going to the bottom of the Vimeo mobile page and clicking the page view desktop version allows me to play the video on their site. Deleted and panoramic frames is not surprising but I'm testing on a phone with similar specs that you look at HTC G2 (Desire Z).

The Thunderbird team is a separate group of the mobile Firefox. I don't know what their plans are (if any) for mobile.

  • Firefox 4 will be a 64-bit version?

    Firefox 4 will be a 64-bit version?

Sorry, but it will not be a 64-bit version of Firefox 4 for Windows. There are nightly builds at http://nightly.mozilla.org. The constructions are not supported, maybe more volatile than the 32-bit version. You will be limited to 64-bit plugins. Some plugins like MS Silverlight have no 64-bit version (so Netflix will not work in 64-bit mode). It is recommended that you use the 32-bit version to http://www.firefox.com/rc.
