  Install Firefox 9.0.1 if you want to use Firefox Sync, which is integrated into versions of Firefox 4 +.

  I'm sorry, but if you do not have a backup of the sync key then all data stored on the server is lost and cannot be recovered.

  It is always better to make a backup locally on a Flash DRIVE or CD/DVD-ROM because synchronization is not intended to be used in this way.

  The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its State default factory while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies and other essential information.

  Note: After Firefox reset, you will lose all extensions, toolbar customizations, and certain preferences. See article Firefox Refresh - reset modules and parameters for more information.

  To reset Firefox:

  1. Open the troubleshooting information page using one of the following methods:
     • Click the menu button

       

       click Help

       

       and select troubleshooting information. Should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

     • If you are unable to access the Help menu, type Subject: support in your address bar to bring up the troubleshooting information page.
  2. At the top right of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox" which looks like this:

  3. Firefox will close and reset. After it's done, Firefox will display a window with information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and reopen Firefox.

  Applications in the Apple App Store are not Mozilla and maybe I won't work with Firefox as Firefox has now left for Firefox Sync account. Mozilla has not all the apps in the Apple app store 3rd parties may, however, they are not controlled by Mozilla.

  You need three things to connect a 'new device' to your sync account.

  1. Username = the e-mail address used when you first set up Sync
  2. Password for this account.
  3. Synchronize key / key to recovery

  If you are missing one of these three things, you will not be able to recover your data from the server.

• Cannot set up firefox sync easily on behalf of different funds (non-mobile)

  It seems almost impossible to set up firefox Sync. I try to use the synchronization so that my experience of Firefox is consistent between accounts on the same machine (IE Firefox in Windows and OSX - I'm under bootcamp on Macbook Pro). I just want to backup and sync my adds & history so why do I need a mobile device for it?   OK, right, I solved my problem. I decided to just try to delete the account and start again. Fortunately, the deletion occurred immediately which meant that I could set up the new account. Everything I needed was someone say, just delete the account. This is the solution for this problem, if anyone is interested. I must say that this configuration of the synchronization is a poor real hash that has not been clearly thought through. So I say that it is a complete failure to Mozilla. In this regard, chrome is so much better and easier to use.
