Firefox won't charge of some url / Web sites that work in other browsers

Whenever I try to load a beginning of following Web site with stk.co (e.g. stks.co/q1CqL ) Firefox gives the error message:

The 'Accept' HTTP header field with a value of hc/url"; ' * / * ' could not be parsed.

The same URL loads easily into Internet Explorer and other browsers.

How can you solve this problem and/or configure firefox to load this url?

Thank you!

You might have customized from the default "Accept" header. Here is a place to check:

(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

(2) in the search above the list box, type or paste ACCEP and make a pause so that the list is filtered

(3) If network.http.accept.default preference is bold and marked as set of users, it has been changed by default.

You can right-click > copy the preference and then paste it somewhere for safety - in the case where there is a good reason for it was custom, and then right-click > reset to see if that helps.

If it has not been changed by default, one of your extensions or proxy service can be it change on the fly.

It seems reasonable to allowing all Web sites in the category 'general interest '. I also want to block specific Web sites that I know can be distracting.

It seems that this should be easy. I just select the category of the "general interest" and also add sites to the blocked list. However, it gives me not the behavior I expect. I find that in the list of the blocked websites are accessible as usual.

Shouldn't this approach do I want? In the affirmative, please can you give some advice on why I see this problem.

    Thank you
