  Problem has been resolved.  The permissions on the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\SensLogn had to be reset.  This enabled the settings of this key be restored and Windows Update works now.  I suspect that this problem occurred initially because of a crash of an Acronis image training program that was causing problems.

  There is probably some software running which disables it.  Stuff as Java always calls the API legacy to draw graphics that allows Windows to the old mode rescue.

  If you click Start, and then type "Defender" Windows Defender should appear, from there, you can use the 'explore software' (under Tools) to try to disable all applications that are running on login.

  If you want to combine several files, then do it in batches of 12 and then combine the combined files, or buy Adobe Acrobat and you will have no such limits.

• Where does not work for Get-ScsiLun seller or the attributes of model filter

  I have a cluster that uses storing different storage arrays. These paintings bring me to use multichannel strategies. I'm trying to write a PowerCLI script to filter all the LUNS that are (for example) on a Board of HP, and then set the strategy that I choose.

  I use the where clause to filter successfully various Get-ScsiLun attributes, such as:

  ScsiLun get - vmhost myhost.mydomain.local - LunType drive | Select * | where {$_.multipathpolicy - eq "MostRecentlyUsed"}

  This filter works great and spit LUNS that use the MRU policy.

  However, when I try to use where to filter the seller, I get no results at all.

  Example:

  ScsiLun get - vmhost myhost.mydomain.local - LunType drive | Select * | where {$_.} Seller - eq "HP"}

  -Eq is perhaps too restrictive, so I try with - such as:

  ScsiLun get - vmhost myhost.mydomain.local - LunType drive | Select * | where {$_.} Seller-as "HP"}

  No dice. No output at all.

  As you can probably, I want to find all the LUNS on my HP table and set a policy specifically for these LUNs. I could go ahead and put all canonicalnames in a file and the loop over there, but it's too much work. I go about it the wrong way?

  With our storage IBM I noticed that the property of the seller is always 8 characters (right padded with blanks).

  So I have also used a - like.

  Note that you do not have to include select it in the pipeline.

  When you place an asterisk in the channel, the - like operator will match every character (s) possible for the asterisk.

• Reconfigure RAID (Online Capacity Expansion) does not work for non Dell drives in the bios and is not available in OMSA for VMWare

  VMWare users have found a solution for the following?

  Readers of PERC H700 and H800 (firmware current 12.10.4 - 0001 A10, r610 servers) allow the user (in the bios during startup) to create new virtual disks using non Dell drives, but you cannot expand a virtual disk existing readers not Dell, when in the bios.  The option is grayed out.

  OMSA for Windows bypasses it.  Virtual disk | Tasks | Reconfigure can do online capacity expansion and accepts disks not Dell for this.

  Problem is OMSA to VMWare ESXi (v7.2, the current version and older versions) doesn't have a virtual disk tasks fall to the bottom.  You can not even a hard drive flashes.  (VMWare ESXi = v5.1)

  The only solution we can think of is to have two drive arrays connected to the computer, and create a simple Windows with OMSA, boot in Windows Server to expand the virtual disk using OMSA for Windows.

  I would be interested in the comments of others, including those of Dell.  We spent hours on the phone with Dell; This seems to be the only solution.  (Yes, Dell released a firmware version last year that has ceased blocking non Dell readers, but it only works for the creation of a new virtual disk, do not expanding one existing).

  The firmware update the unlocked non certified discs was in July 2010 (two years ago).  No latest updates seem to speak of changes/updates to update that.

  I don't know why uncertified discs would be blocked for a single operation (expansion/reconfigure) - are get you certain types of message that certainly is the case?  Did you do that with certified readers?  Last I heard, Dell had a firmware update in the works that would allow an extension to get the CTRL-R utility, where it historically could not be done from there.  12.10.4 as of 2012, I guess (if the Dell guy who told me he rode was OK) this update has not been released yet... However, I could be wrong.  I don't have a H700 to test with, but you can try OMSA live as an alternative to the construction of a temporary Windows Server to try the expansion of the OMSA.

  I have a HP deskjet printer shared from a PC on the network.
  I was informed of a single person could not access error poped by saying "printer spooler does not work.
  I went to the services and made sure it was infact running and rebooted to be sure also restarted the RPC services as it is addictive
  Still, the user cannot print to the printer. I took the computer that has been seen issues and hung where fixed my PC and I am able to connect and print!

  If I move my computer witch would allow me to print before there where his computer is my computer prompt same error

  My idea is - what some are how a network issue, but the user can still access drives network, internet and other printers on the network

  Just not this printer

  The computer on the share is is a windows xp sp2 workstation

  The computer with the issue is any system I plug its cable Ethernet (XP anyway) I have not tried with a windows machine 7.

  My hypothesis is a bad Ethernet cable? I'm quite lost with this question at this stage.

  My next step is to hang the printer until a print area and assign an IP address and finish with the share.

  It turned out to be a bad switch. I don't understand why it did not work. All the computers had no problems other than the present even that if I swapped the ports it has made a difference.

  Hung new switch and all computers works fine now.

  I downloaded the project, published under the title of HTML5 and SWF and posted on our server.

  When you click on the buttons in the HTML5 version, you can see the content of the change of the content area. This does not happen in swf (the XML is a counterpart of the swf file in the same directory)

  Looking at their model of box, I think that maybe they mean that the html page must be involved for the js to work (that is, you need to link to the page instead of the swf file)? Maybe this is already known by everyone else, so forgive me... but can you just use the swf file (in this case, including the XML with it) and do the work of javascript?

  In the end, I really don't need features xml... I'm just trying to play an audio file and give buttons, click on a State visited and in the context, I'm trying to use it, I can only download a swf file, not a html file that displays a flash element. Maybe there is an easier way to do... But I didn't pursue a js route if js will not run in this case.

  I think that you need a html file to make javascript work.

  You can use advanced actions to display a different button once the original has been clicked.

• Instructions not clear for erasure of data from the app

  The mode of deleting the data from an application say go to settings-> general-> storage & use Icloud-> Manage storage (under storage)-> select app-> then choose Edit in the upper left corner.  I am running the latest version of the software and I do not see 'Edit' anywhere.  What I see is "Documents & Data" and the amount f storage that it occupies, followed by an option "Delete app.  What I am doing wrong?  I don't want to remove the application, just all unwanted items it has stored.

  It is a function of the application and configured by the developer. Try to go to the application itself and see if it has its own parameters. If the developer did not include a way to clear the cache, then your only choice is to delete the application and reinstall it.
