First CC 20141 for monitor audio 5.1 configuration problem

I'm working on a major project that I'm doing a 5.1 audio mix for. The problem is that I can not the first to play something else than stereo audio. It is therefore impossible to monitor the audio that I try to mix in 5.1. Counters seem to indicate that the audio is played correctly in the program, but nothing I've tried will not let me control correctly.  I'm on Win7pro 64 bit, with a card the Sound Blaster Z. I just bought this sound card specially for this as in the past I did a 5.1 mix (in Cs6 (I think) with a sound blaster Xfi Titanium HD card and it worked fine. This card has a creative ASIO I select in the menu Audio material but it only gives me options for the l/r channels, and I can't find any other way to add additional channels card. I also tried ASIO4all and he will also only stereo channels map.

On a related note, this card is configured properly and outputs 5.1 audio perfectly in windows, and in all the speaker configuration tests I ran. What can I do to set it up to make it work properly in first?

Jay

So in fact several research it turns out that in a last update of pilot, Creative has replaced channel 6 original able "Creative Sound Blaster ASIO" with a new "Creative SBZ ASIO" which only supports two channels. I was able to load the old drivers prior to the change and get 5.1 working properly first.

  • IDS/IPS signatures for monitor audio/video streaming applications

    Hi people,
    Can someone Advisor on the names or signatures that could be used successfully to control the use of streaming on the network applications. The plan must feed to MARS and then create reports on streaming applications use to use it later for the creation of a security policy preventing the theft of bandwidth.

    Perhaps suggestions on how to create a custom signature to monitor the audio and video streams would be appreciated.

    Eugene

    Hello Eugene,

    It is possible to matching strings video specified in your capture by examining the Type of content. Run after the connection with a TCP reset or refuse the inline package will keep the video of the game - which will save bandwidth that the video would have used otherwise. However, it is important that we establish the role of the IPS appliance. The IPS is designed to detect and limit the attacks by matching known traffic patterns. For TCP, this obligation can also include some that drop a bag to disrupt a flow. The IPS is not fundamentally designed to monitor flow and provide a number of bytes for a particular protocol so that the use of protocols analysis can be performed.

    The signature below will drop packets with the flv-application Content-Type, which will keep the video that you have tested on break.com of play. Each video streaming site works differently. A screenshot of each video streaming site will have to be examined and another custom signature written, if you want to block all. Also, keep in mind that many sites offer different options for streaming videos. It may ask you to take multiple shots at each site - one for each method of streaming.

  • No AAC audio in first CC 20141? [bug - solved]

    -Original message for reference

    I've just updated for first CC 20141 today.

    I have a set of files that I regularly converted with Handbrake MP4s with an AAC audio stream. I had no problem at all with the CS6, CC and CC 2014. But now with CC 20141, I have no sound when I import the mp4 files.

    The project window says it's a "Vidéo" file, not a 'Film '. The corresponding icon in the project window also missing the wave form on it.

    When I drag him in the timeline, only the video track appears, as you would expect. The only video appears correctly.

    Restart of PP CC 20141 did nothing.

    I've loaded PP CS6 and imported the exact same MP4 file and it works as expected. Windows Media Player has no problem playing the video file with audio either.

    What has changed between 2014 CC and CC 20141 which could have caused this?

    That's what MediaInfo report for the file:

    Reason: it is there no first Pro CC 2014.2, you probably mean 20141. If not, please PM me.

    Hi wired.au,

    Thanks for this solution.

    Wired.au wrote:

    OK... after I finished my post below on how 20141 CC PP would not recognize my MP4s AAC mono audio track, I decided to produce the same MP4 with Handbrake, with a stereo audio track instead.

    It worked. After you load the stereo MP4, I re-imported the original mono MP4 which didn't work (without restarting the first or anything like that) and mono audio is now recognized. Looks like there is a strange bug with Premiere Pro CC 20141 and mono AAC audio tracks, which got solved after you import a MP4 with a stereo AAC track for the first time.

    I thought I should leave it here just in case someone else meets the same thing.

    Hello

    Have you tried to reset the preferences?

    You can also try to rename the Adobe folder in the Documents to OldAdobe, but this will make you lose workspaces shortcuts and personalized keyboard.

    Let me know if this helps.

  • HP Pavilion dv7-4190us drivers for Beats Audio and MediaSmart Webcam

    Nice day. I bought a Pavilion dv7-4190us last December 2010. I loved its audio quality. However, I recently formatted the OS due to some MBR problems. I managed to get most of the software I need to save for Beats Audio and MediaSmart Webcam.

    For Beats Audio, I find not everything on the page for the driver for my laptop model. For MediaSmart webcam, I downloaded and installed sp51029 but nothing happened. Someone knows what's the problem?

    Hello

    Try the following to see if you can install HP MediaSmart Webcam.

    First, download the MediaSmart Webcam Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp51001-51500/sp51029.exe

    Then, if you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip.

    Now, open your download folder, click with the right button on the HP MediaSmart Webcam Installer, select Extract 7 - Zip, select the files and then click Ok.  Open the newly extracted folder, open src and scroll down until you see the application setup ( 12th from the bottom with a size of 310 KB ).  This Application Configuration right click and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once installation is complete, restart the computer and see if the Wecam software has been installed successfully.

    Kind regards

  • A1700n not allowing the installation of audio drivers for the audio device.

    HP a1700n

    Windows xp sp2

    recently installed a new hard drive and reinstalled the operating system from scratch.

    When attempting to install the driver for the audio device, named as "Audio device on high definition Bus" I'm an abupt with a blue screen stop referring to * RltekAUD.sys* * (hot flashes too fast to get the entire message.)

    Before you install the new hard drive, the system worked well.  I tried the fix suggested by HP, 4 different realtek drivers.

    I tried to install in safe mode, which installs without error, but no sound, and regualr mode restarts, causes the blue screen with the error above.

    Rotate the processor Dual core AMD Athlon 64 x 2 3800 +.

    I disconnected an additional device and can't seem to get my sound.

    Anyone else having a similar problem?  Fix known?

    It was an exhausting fix.  However, a problem that seems prevalent with machines of OS that came with Vista, but got XP installed on them.

    The problem is resolved: that is the solution and the method.

    First, I tried to reinstall the operating system and installing the drivers in a different order.  -WORK

    I reinstalled the operating system and tried to install the driver in safe mode, partial correction, pilot would install, but would not start in standard mode - WORK NO

    Downloaded and tried 5 Realtek driver different solutions all the way from rolling back or front - WORK NO

    SOLUTION THAT WORKED-

    2. Are you not sound on the computer or Rocketfish?

    If you do not get the sound on the computer, then all first activate the sound Board in the BIOS and check. Also, follow the steps in this link and check if that helps:

  • My solution for No Audio - drivers Conexant and Windows 7 x 64

    My son and I have the laptop L2000 comes with 32 bit XP and used the audio Conexant chipset. I had been using a SB Audigy PCMCIA card so I don't know when the Audio is really off. However, he noticed when I upgraded his PC. I went through different forums looking for 64-bit Windows 7 for Conexant audio drivers but nothing helped. Microsoft and Conexant both said that HP should provide the drivers. By the way HP, the Conexant site says that they provide no drivers, although they make the chipsets 'at the request of the OEM." Another post said that HP will not have to provide these drivers for Windows 7. The HP solution for my model and Windows 7 has been the "HP Software Advisor" who was 67 MB and totally unnecessary. It seems that it is a very common problem. In any case, here's what you do:

    First of all, you need 2 files that come quite ironically HP, they are SP35558.exe and SP35558.cva they contain drivers for Vista x 64 Conexant. (Later, I found the 32-bit drivers and the procedure should be very similar, except that the files are SP34789.exe and SP34789.cva). Type the following command in your browser address bar ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/ to half way down you will find the subdirectory with these files. Just right click on them and save it on your desktop.

    Double-click on SP35558.cva and tell Windows to use Notepad to open it. Scroll to halfway down to "[Operating Systems]" and after 'WV64UL = OEM' insert:
    W764HB = OEM
    W764HP = OEM
    W764PR = OEM
    W764UL = OEM

    (For systems 32-bit using W732HB = OEM, etc.).

    I then went up to about 10 lines "[system information]" and added

    SysId3 = 0 x 3091
    SysName3 = HP Pavilion ze2000 series
    SysId4 = 0 x 3096
    SysName4 = Compaq presario M2000 series
    SysId5 = 0 x 3097

    SysName7 = series Compaq Presario M2000
    SysId8 = 0 x 3093
    SysName8 = series HP Special Edition L2000

    I got this information from another cva file on my PC to C; / / swsetup, this is the directory where HP updates by default.

    After modding the cva file, I taped C; / swsetup/sp35558 /.

    Then, I run the SP35558.exe file. He failed the first time, I missed a line in my cva file. However, I then manually installed the Conexant drivers as follows and voila I had sound, beautiful crisp clear sound.

    "" In the Device Manager, right click "Multimedia Audio Device" under the heading 'Other' and choose 'update driver' then ' Browse your PC "and"choose from a list. Select "Audio, audio and game controllers", and then Conexant 'drive '. Navigate to C:/swsetup/sp35558/and open "cp6308Ba.inf" (don't forget 64-bit). Now click 'OK' and ignore all the warnings on the incompatibility, WHQL, etc.. Give her lots of time, you might think, you are in a loop, but you're not. Congratulations, you've completed.

    I thought that to recompile my answer and then mark this thread as resolved since it was not a post about a problem, but rather how I solved a very common problem that can be beneficial to others.

    Then I ran the SP35558.exe file and voila I had sound, beautiful crisp clear sound.

    The use of the CAL file is to streamline the installation of the driver and that's kind of cool if it works. If you can't find it, you don't succeed the first time, or you don't want to not bother with modding anything, don't worry, the installation manual will work for sure.

    Run sp35558.exe to extract all and let write off. Then go to Device Manager and update driver manually as follows:

    In Device Manager, right click "Multimedia Audio Device" under the heading "Other" and choose "update driver" and then "Browse PC" and "choose from a list. Select ' Audio, audio and game controllers', then 'Conexant', then 'drive '.

    I hope this helps.

    I am currently working on a film that will be played in a local cinema. Cinema uses a 5.1 surround sound so I want to make my video 5.1 to. I am currently in possession of the entire Logitech z906 5.1 surround sound and its been set up correctly. I can listen to the demo dolby video and the audio test of Realtek HD audio manager. They have both come out positivly so I know that my setup is correct.

    Now in first. I created a 5.1 sequence and added 5 standard titles which I panned in the following order: L, R, C, LFE, RS, LS. According to the master channel, he is the good channel assignment. When I made the video as a mp4 (h264, dolby 5.1) and previsualisez with VLC it come out correctly. I can turn off audio for different stakeholders. The problem is when I'm editing. I noticed that in the audio settings normally its at "5.1 mixdown type: stereo" I changed the value of "5.1 mixdown type: front + back + LFE" but always when I'm reading my sequence is not a reading of the true 5.1. As much as I can hear the Center comes through the speakers left and right, the sub is delivered by all (perhaps because its high piched and not a low frequency test sound) and the RS and LS come by R and L.

    Does anyone have experience with this and if so have you managed to fix it?

    With sincere friendships.

    Erwin

    PS it seems I can't map several channels of output then 2 for my audio.Capture.JPG

    Edit:

    It seems to have been fixed. The question was bad drivers. I installed v2 driver Asio4All. This gave me the opportunity to switch to the Asio in first pro who gave me the ability to map all audio channels. In a first time in front, center and sub worked but not the back. I changed the output channel 5 and 6 to 7 and 8 and now its fixed. Channel audio 5 and 6 where intended for the side speakers which I did not.

    Thanks for reading and I hope that I can help others with this problem now, I found a solution.

  • Adobe first CC 2015 reset the Audio hardware settings

    Hello

    I have a curious scenario; I think that it is related to all these discussions about audio problems in first CC 2015. I have a client running a new Mac Pro with CC 2015. It worked fine for several months until last week. First began to change the audio settings in Control Panel preferably on its own. The symptoms are that audio stops completely and video playback stops working as well. You see just a still image from the video. This happens on after 10-15 minutes of editing. We have been able to temporarily fix things in going in the Audio hardware preferences and changing output and input built-in by default. Which only solves the problem for 10-15 minutes well. After that, we need to restart the machine in order to restore playback. This happens with any project.

    My client is running first for 2015 CC version 9.0.0. (247) here's a screenshot of its audio hardware settings and OSX sound control panel.

    I think that things should be set to audio built-in by default. But what happens is first keeps changing the default entry, the default output and Master Clock to tell the Audio display fields. Sometimes it shows as DisplayPort as well. Notice that this is different from the output that we defined in the acoustic Panel. We have removed our media Cache files and this always seems to happen.

    Any advice on what is happening?

    Hi André,.

    The 9.0.2 patch for Premiere Pro CC 2015 comes out that has a fix for the Multicam. Please update and verify.

  • MultiCam: first cut separates video and audio

    I have a question about something that has bugged me for a long time.  I do a lot of editing multicamera and after the first cut of the audio and video are not related and requires that each cut is made twice - once for the video and once for audio.  It's really annoying because if you forget and move the playback cursor, so cut you is out of sync and you have to redo it.

    Is it possible to keep the sequence bound to make less painful editing?

    Oh, I made a wrong assumption about what you were trying to accomplish.

    Since you're using A1 audio throughout, it is normal that all the video clips after the first are separated from the audio. It is at least in part because the audio track can be linked to a single video clip.

    This is therefore the first two options that come to mind

    1. hold Shift while clicking on the cutting tool.
    2. Move the playback cursor where you want the cut and press SHIFT + K (Win) or Cmd + K (Mac)

    In both case clips on all the tracks unlocked will be cut.

    According to exactly what you are doing, you might also find that working with In/Out points and the extract of Lift & controls offer an efficient workflow.

    You should be able to click with the right button on your audio files and select fade, followed by fade in Audio or Fade Out Audio.

    As mentioned I'm strictly a Windows elements user, so I guess that the first elements of Windows and Mac

  • best settings for the audio narration

    I recently moved to Adobe Audition to Soundbooth as part of the e-learning suite. I'm used to be able to get the voice very clean and simple narration recording in Soundbooth, but can't seem to get the right settings in hearing (CS5.5). The narrative still sounds like it has reverb in it and I can't get rid of it. I need a very isolated here the "studio type" his product and it has been easy in Soundbooth. Anyone have better recommended settings for the audio narration at the hearing?

    Thank you very much

    Whitney

    Pass a hearing still records sec - has always done, will always exist. If you have found any kind of sound reverberation on your story, then he came to the room, or added by the audio device (depending on what device it is - some seem to have weird parameters for things that make absolutely no sense to be there at all), or you yourself added.

    The first thing we need to know is so much more on exactly what you use and how you use it...
