  I'm currently editing a piece for 5.1 and I found that the first CS6 does not see my audio capabilities of motherboards.

  In windows (7 x 64 Ultimate) settings I can set up the 5.1 release and test of each channel.

  I am connected to my Logitech Z680 (5.1) speakers via the analogue Sockets:

  • Lime: Front speakers
  • Black: Rear speakers
  • Orange: Center/subwoofer

  Below you can see my only stereo mapping options.  Why can I not see all channels?  I have confirmed that I am editing a sequence 5.1.

  Hmmm... If you experience persistent organic pollutants when you scrub the timeline, it could be problems of audio latency / buffer.

  If you go to the HUD ASIO (get there from the first hardware preferences settings as you did before, or look in your bar spots and you should see the icon) you should see a bar at the bottom left that says "ASIO Buffer Size"

  

  My screen will look different from yours because I have the settings 'Advanced' showing. To access the advanced options, click on the key little tool at the bottom right of the window of the ASIO. After locating the cursor of the buffer (see circled above) you can change how many samples it uses to the buffer.  More generally the number (more you put the left bar) faster audio responses are... but more unstable, which appears and click when you playback or do anything with audio. More sales (the more you put the right sidebar) more stable system and sounds with a compromise in response time. Try increasing the size of the buffer until you hear more pops and clicks.  The key is to try and get away using the samples below that without getting pop and clicks, you can in your buffer.

• First CS6 plays is not the Cineform files

  I have a few problems in a project basis of cineform. I am using just stock first CS6 and Cineform Studio premium installed. I use a mac Pro, 24 GB of RAM, nvidia card 2008 cheaper stock (not compatible with the CUDA), with Lion installed. I think that my sequence settings are on DSLR quality corresponding to the resolution of the cineform files. There is a chance that they are sequences of office. I started this project later on CS5 and done my sequences here.

  The problem is that 2 of the 3 times I opened first, thumbnails of clip timeline attract and when I have the monitor of the reading program is in the black. Audio plays back ok, but clips of cineform on the timeline do not work. If I try to open an item in the source monitor, it will update the file in the project location to show "Media disconnected". The media is there and in the first are linking to. If I try to close the first time affected by the foregoing it does not close and I have to force close it. Only a reboot of the system will be first opens correctly after that.

  If Firefox is ignorant preference browser.newtab.url, the usual culprit is an extension.

  You can open the page in Firefox Add-ons using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
  • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
    firefox.exe "about:addons"

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Do not forget that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox, and you can learn more about them by checking their reviews on the site of the Add - ons.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Select the Apple-> ForceQuit menu» Finder, it will relaunch the Finder.
