' Plugged in, load "(but do not load)

I bought my HP Pavilion dv6 before the start of this school year (sometime in July). It has custom summer with a processor Intel Core i7, 7200 RPM, 8 GB of RAM and more memorable, a NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 650 M graphics - one of the best you can get. Among the only things that I did not personalize was the battery.

Yesterday, September 28, I was playing a game when I realized my battery was low and must be connected. It's 26%.

I plugged it in, played for another hour, and when I got close to back, it's always 26%. I was not too concerned, because the game that I was playing does not have a LOT of power and often even drains plugged the battery a bit even with it.

The concern arose when several hours later, when I turned on the computer again, he was still at 26%. I thought it might be the charger, so today I tried my another and it still does the same thing.

Strange thing is, he doesn't even say "plugged in, not support.» In fact, it is said that he IS in charge! I NEED this computer for school, and I don't know what to do. I have never abused this battery; I never released when the computer was in (enabled or disabled, incidentally), kept the plugged in for more than one night, used the wrong charger on it... Why has this happened? How can I solve this problem?

I thank very you much for all the responses.

Hey everybody,

It seems that your battery needs to be calibrated. If the battery becomes out of calibration it could always show you a level of different percentages even if it is fully charged. Here is a link that will give you more details on the calibration of the battery and also how to do it: http://goo.gl/It1lz

I hope this helps!

  • Plugged in, but does not load?

My g6-2116nr Pavilion is only 3 months ago, but it will not load. While it is plugged in, it says that it is plugged in, but do not load. the only way so he could start charging is to let the battery run out and load it then (I don't let not run out on purpose). Occasionally, while it is fully charged, it also won't tell when the battery is down, and it will be a strange ammount of supposed autonomy (it will say that it has 130 hours of battery life, which it doesn't). Can someone help me?

    Hello

First, shut down the laptop, unplug the power adapter, remove the battery and then hold the Power button for 30 seconds.

Now, plug in the AC adapter without the battery inserted, start Notepad, open windows control panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for the battery, on the right, click on and compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery and select Uninstall - do uninstall not something else here.  When the uninstall is complete, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter, reinsert the battery and then start the laptop's battery.  Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the laptop again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start the laptop to see if it helped the issue at all.

  • (plugged in, load) but the battery is not charging

    Hello!

    I have a problem with my hp laptop Pavilion dv6 - 2190ev.

The laptop cannot start if the charger is connected only (and the battery). It will only start if the battery is on. Also, the led and the laptop displays: (plugged in, load) but the battery won't charge!

The battery and charger are ok, because I tried on another laptop and work there!

So, the problem seems to be on the laptop. I also update the BIOS and the problem persists.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

Looks like you did a few good troubleshooting at this point.  One thing which is ofter overlooked in these questions is the motherboard.  Here is an article by HP, battery not power Notebook or hold a Charge.

Please take a look.  There are suggestions for troubleshooting for the power supply, motherboard and battery, as well as links to other useful information. I'm sorry this isn't a simple solution, but you could just find very useful information in the article.

    Good luck with it,

  • Plugged in, load, but will not pass 70%

Mine is an Inspiron 14z, under windows 7 ultimate. The last 2 days my battery charge up to 70%, then it there just stay although the icon shows "plugged in, load»

    I've tried a few things:

    Disconnect plug

    -Remove the battery, put.

-Uninstall / install compatible ACPI Microsoft control battery method

-Restore to point before it works.

    Hi fantome1721,

The reason why your battery would remain up to 70% and no additional costs might be an option called "Desktop Mode", which could be activated. Fashion Office contributes by disabling the battery to charge up to 100% to maximize the life of the battery. This option can also be turned off. To disable this option:

    • Right click on the battery icon in the Windows notification area and then click on Options of Dell Extended Battery life
    • Battery meter, dialog box appears, click the desktop Mode
    • Select the option to disable this feature
    • Then, click OK

To learn more about office and longevity Mode Mode please use the link below:

    I hope this helps.

    JNMilan,

It is not possible. You must use a third-party software to do or contact the manufacturer.

Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

It is said: 61% available (olugged, to the do not load).

I; ve looked several times under Power Options, but I don't see any settings anywhere.

  • Vista recognizes the printer but does not load the drivers - error 0x000003eb

Have even tried to load drivers generic, just to see if it works, no chance.  I have on other computers with XP Pro on them and they picked it up, drivers loaded and works very well, but Vista is a different game. Tried plugging USB and gives the same error. Add a printer recognizes it, but it does not load the drivers. I can type the IP address of the printer and use a little from there prints 3 pages of a point, two pages are all kinds of different characters, it waste paper.

Microsoft has looked everywhere and they want me to pay for OS problems out there and I'm not a fact. Program there is the problem that they should back is no Vista how the wrong subject.

Looks like you can have the wrong drivers or not everything you need (drivers, firmware and software) or you do not have the installation in the right order (some require that the printer is connected and on, others require it only and power off, and other required he be attached and powered at a point issue).  I suggest you go to the Xerox support page for your printerhttp://www.office.xerox.com/printers/color-printers/phaser-6250/sprt-enus.html and download everything you need for your printer and your version of Vista.  Then read the articles about how install and configure the printer (unlike many other devices, printers are not intuitive and are picky about the way in which they are installed and will not work if not done according to the instructions). If necessary, that it includes a toll-free technical support number where they may be able to guide you through the process, or at least make sure that you understand the conditions, steps and the order of the steps to do it right yourself.

I checked on the error and this can mean many things for a great many printers - but I could not find any reference to your specific printer to help us.  It is said that it was a mistake than if you have enabled and UAC if off and then back on it would solve the problem - but that sounds not just for me.  You really need to discuss this with HP and I don't know that they will have you place and operate at any time.  I don't believe technical support is costly (there is no mention of this at all) - but if the fact of telephone support, information on the website is free and they have other means of contact which are free (but are not as effective as a telephone conversation).  If you do the research and read relevant articles, I am sure that you can do.  No, Vista makes it as easy as XP, but it can still be done.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

Recently I bought a Kensington Absolutepower (http://www.kensington.com/kensington/en/gb/s/1717/absolute-power.aspx) as a replacement for the charger standard 65w which was delivered with my X 1.

The charger is recognized, (the familiar sound of the beep and the green light next to the laptop input lights upward when it is plugged) but does not not the battery. The machine is designed for the correct voltage setting, and all the Lenovo firmware is up to date. Someone at - it any suggestions or experience with this combination of product before I return the charger?
