First Pro CC hangs whenever I open a version of a project

I have a 3 month project that I worked and now I can't open any version of it without it crashing when I open the project. Or... Crashing when I click on the main sequence to display it in the timeline panel.  I have several saved incrementally versions and nothing will work.

I have a MacBook Pro of the retina 16 GB of 2012. I have not upgraded to the mavericks, won't.

Hi abbotta911,

Please do not uninstall all CUDA drivers. Please mention the version of the drivers for the NVidia card. Also, go to the link below and try to update the drivers to the latest version and then restart the machine and try to revive the project.

  • First Pro CC hangs in opening a project file

I use the first Pro CC for 1.5 years now. No big problems up to this but now all of a sudden a strange in opening a project file.

Several other project files open as usual, but the last one I worked on, suddenly breaks down in the middle of loading of multimedia files.  Appears in an error like this:

"Premiere Pro has encountered an error. [c:\ppro772\releases\2013.10\shared\adobe\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\ "(and the rest of the way I am not able to see, it is cut)]

I installed the latest version of the graphics driver today. I installed Premiere Pro 2014 some time ago but didn't really use it again. I tried to open the project in 2014 without success.

Now, I just discovered that I can open the project in the automatic backup file a before-, the last! Subsequently, I saved the project with a different name, but try to re - open resulted in the same error again!

No idea what could be the problem and what might help?

If you are referring to the differences in the path of error, which is a function of what version of first, you, and part is because the path is truncated on some systems so that the essential is not displayed: keyframe.h - 146.

This problem is caused by an update to iCloud of Apple which was published in September. Currently, the only solution to prevent future projects to be corrupt is to uninstall iCloud. That measure will rise not corrupted project. This knowledge base article provides options for the recovery of the projects: Crash with error keyframe.h - 146 when you open a saved project

  • First Pro CC hangs after "loading media".

Last week I had to Exchange my media from one HARD disk to another.

Loading following the project of creation where crashed just after the "loading media" bar, has ended.
No signs or whatever it be open as not expected. And first became completely unresponsive.

I went back to the use of the original copy of the HARD drive, but I still had the same problem.
My soultion was to create a completely new project and import my media.

Today the same thing happened but I never moved the images on the HARD drive.
The second project now hangs after "loading media" too.

Other projects where all the files are on my internal HDD are fine.

No error report is generated, and I have a small chance to be able to open the Task Manager to close the first. Usually, I have to pull the plug to turn it off because it seems like using 100% of my use of the disk.

Everything is updated (6.0.5) and I am on Windows 8 (sorry don't know what data you need :/))

Any help would be much appreciated!

  • First Pro CS5.5 won't open - Mac

At first I had problems with EI not opening not (curtain at "Then of initialization of basic Media") and the dynamic link for some of the composiitons in my PP project, so I called support. I spent an hour and a half with a lady control my computer and my AE problem seems to disappear. Us hung up, and then I opened my project PP once again and the dynamic link 'Start ' to work, but then PP stops randomly. And now I have a problem, PP...

I tried reopening it loaded project, a bit glitched on the screen, then he said "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project". Now I get it everytime I open a project.

Then I called support again, and after 3 hours with a guy, he told me that I had to create a new user account and migrate all my information, but he said he couldn't offer me any help in this area. I find myself. So I followed the instructions here.

"choosing a username that is short for your new account. then run the following commands in Terminal

    sudo mkdir/users/newshortname

    sudo idem ~ / users/newshortname

You will need to enter your admin password (that you won't see) after the first command. It's normal. This copierait your current directory to/users/newshortname. Then, go to Preferences-> accounts system and create a new account with the name short newshortname. You will get a window saying that a directory with this name already exists and asking if you want to use. say yes'

As I thought (after waiting a day for all of my files and preferences to transfer to the new account) I had the same problem. I tried to disable, re - install, remove the core of media and then put it back (with the help of Adobe support) and nothing works. I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.8.

Someone, please offer assistance. I was out of Commission from publishing for three days, and I have a bunch of upcoming deadlines.

    Help me!

If the product works very well in root user there is a possiblity that any service blocks first pro to launch the interface. Please check on the Root user and if it works, then you must do a clean uninstall of all adobe products. Please follow below blog to uninstall the product.

Turns out I have to not need to reinstall Windows. I don't know what is actually worked in the end. As I began to prepare to reinstall the OS, I ran a disk cleanup, deleted unnecessary files and a few other things. After all that, I did a reboot, which triggered an update of the system. I decided to try Premiere Pro one last time, and it worked! I'm guessing that disk cleanup got rid of a problematic file - who knows.

I'm working on my project again. Thanks for the help.

  • First hangs whenever I open Windows Explorer.

Whenever I'm in the first attempt to import using the windows double Explorer clicking import or whenever I go to export and edit name and address first just breaks down. A box of windows problems shooter stands up and says then close the program. This is it, no errors, nothing.

This does not happen when I start a new project until after I imported the initial set of images, every time after that it crashes.

Happens on all projects any images I use.

Need help desperate since the import and export are parties literally the most vital first.

    Data sheet:

-Nvidia GTX 780ti - updated drivers

  • First pro cs5 hangs shortly after I opened the project

Hi guys I have a macpro 1.1 dual core intel xeon, 2.66 ghz 7 GB ram graphics card NVIDIA Geforce 7300, I was about to export my project after that I'm done editing and some audio normalizing, now I can't do a single click anywhere b/s, it crashes and speens forever, I just need to export this thing nothing more. • I just installed 15.0.1 and it hangs whenever I open it. Any thoughts?

I upgraded to 15.0.1 and every time I try and open Firefox crashes and send a crash report. I tried to reload several times. I have Windows Vista. Also, I don't find a way to reload an earlier version.
    Help please.

We are sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to crash when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us an ID of crash report which helps us to learn more about the cause of the accident.

    1. To get a window run the following shortcut: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
    2. In this text field, enter %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto and press ENTER. Should open an Explorer window.
    3. From the Solution Explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox , then Crash reports. Double-click subject.
    4. Now you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to view > rearrange icons by > change to get the latest files at the top of the window.
    5. Open the 5 latest files with a text editor and copy them ID.
    6. Paste each ID in the window of response on the forums.
