Because she graduated she had two of the residence and turned my basement into a hoarders paradise, lol point being that she has no idea where his original disk is so I contacted Lenovo who assured me that they would send me a copy of Vista (how naïve of me) they me sent recovery disc (two games not less and it took more than a month!) that I discovered after the fact that I could have burned my own through Neo-Smart...

  There is one thing that still bothers me and that's when we first pulled his new Lap Top for the first time and installed Vista I remembered that the very last paragraph said to make your own copy of the o/s before your done... what was not done! Is it still possible to make a copy of its operating system now? If Yes, how would go about this, if I wait for her to do it, it will not! She was lucky that I was able to use a slave to its hard disk of my XP Sata-IDE cable and get its files on the drive before it me locked. • Alienware x 51 r3 crashed to the Alienware logo screen when I turn on my computer first time every day.

  My new r3 Alienware x 51 will not start windows when I turn the first time on the computer in daily life.
  When the Alienware logo is displayed on the screen, the computer will not load. (No loading cycle appears under the alienware logo). Then the screen becomes black. Keyboard and mouse lights are turned off. However, when I turn off the computer and start again immediately. It works normally. If I switech it off and then start it about 2 hours later, the computer will crash again.   I was wondering about this since a long time. I use a lot of keyboard commands, especially the Windows key + R, to open the Run dialog. But I noticed that if I didn't hit the Windows key for a long period, say, maybe 10 minutes, the key won't do anything the first time that I hit him.   Thank you, Stephanie. I tried a clean boot and the Windows key worked continuously as it should. One, back, I added my services and startup programs and tested the key. There are several non-Microsoft services that were previously activated, such as those related to my iPod or Nero, I left off. My Windows key still works normally. I don't know who services, has been the cause of the problem, but at least it seems to be resolved for now. Thank you!
