First video export to DVD Question

Hi - I have my first video export to first on a DVD and I'm a little nervous about it.  My film will be shot with the Panasonic ACHD (I think this is the model that I don't have the camera with me here) and the device is set to 1280 x 720 at 24 fps.

I was looking through in Premiere CS4 and found export settings MPEG-DVD and Blue Ray MPEG settings.  When I choose MPEG-DVD, I noticed that the two vertical bars are at each end of the output. When I select the Blue Ray MPEG, there is a setting in there that makes these bars disappear and the image perfectly fits the dimensions, so it seems that I can use these parameters.

My question is - after I exported this file, how to actually do it on the DVD disc?  I would like to export as above and then use Adobe Encore to burn the disc?  Or is there another method?

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Your original file is HiDef, a DVD is 720 x 480 Standard Def, then you will see a difference from the original on DVD

You cannot use the files on a DVD BluRay... see above

You use the body for editing, even for creating... read below

Still is optical disc authoring software made by Adobe. You use the software CD-ROM to take files from media encode and burn a decoder compatible with DVD players disc. Also use software to add disc menus, etc. of CD-ROM creation.

Still is no longer under active development - but there are always intended for the subscribers of Adobe CC.

  • Subtitles do not appear when I play my video exported with first Pro CC

So, I've spent some time cela, but can't seem to get anywhere.  I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro and I created a sequence with captioning.  I tried to export several different ways (Quicktime, H264, etc.).  I was also careful to include a subtitling sidecar file or to incorporate subtitles into the video when you export using Quicktime.  I was also sure that the two files (the film and the SCC file) are in the same place.  I tried different versions of the video exported using Quicktime Player and VLC, but had no chance to get the subtitles to appear.  In Quicktime player I've tried it with active captioning, but this does not seem to make a difference.  In VLC, I tried the Advanced Open option which allows you to select the subtitle file, that you want to load with the film.  Once again, no luck.  I tried to drag / drop the file *. CSC on the movie then it plays.  I tried to select a subtitle track using the drop down below the video.  Once again, no luck.  I tried exporting the file as a .mcc of Premiere Pro and that no longer works.  I even tried to convert the file *. CSC to .srt app file online.

In any case, I'm stumped.  All I want to do is get my film to play with subtitles with a simple application.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    S. @@

Sorry, Fritz. It's been a while since I really look to the help page of captioning, and I just assumed that the workflow new legend is covered here. And a second apology because the State of this page is at least partly my fault insofar as I promised our technical editor months ago that I would expand this page.

You don't do something wrong when it comes to set the start and end for legend blocks. In the timeline panel, legend titles are basically only display. The apparent handles are really just indicators; they are not interactive. I think it's our road map to make them interactive, but I have no idea wherever improvement is in the order of precedence.

I'm not sure what you mean about "each caption track block [being] limited to a little more than 30 seconds. If there is a maximum of a clip of the legend, it is probably 12 or 24 hours. I have worked with many that are more than an hour. With respect to the individual legend within clip blocks, my memory has grown blurred in the months since I worked on the feature, but I think that the program does not impose a limit on the duration, you can give a block. However, there may be a limit on how long a given legend block will be actually are displayed. I thought the limit was 15 seconds, but I just did a test with blocks of 10, 20 and 40 seconds, and each of them had completely given duration in the encoded output. Maybe the limit that I think is a specific standard... Come Monday, I'll have to check with colleagues who remained close to all of the features.

Note that if you add a caption element in a sequence until you have finished adding blocks, then you will need to cut the clip after increasing its duration by adding blocks.

Finally, although the first creation of the legends from scratch media feature set was designed mainly to import captions created in a tool of creation of third party and, if necessary, revise the content and control the synchronization.

  • Several video projects on DVD

Compressor Ver 4.2.2 have the ability to burn two or more FCP video projects on DVD, assuming that there is enough space?

Compressor Ver 4.2.2 allows to burn a DVD with video to iMovie?

I have an iMac, mid 2011, OS X El Capitan, worm 10.11.4.

    Thank you

Compressor (like FCP) can only create videos of single track. If you need to do more, then I would combine them into a single FCC schedule. You would copy and paste several chronologies to a master timeline - probably incorporating title clips and chapter markers for easy navigation. (I guess that iMovie can do that too, but I'm not sure). What is certainly true is that you can export a video from iMovie, and then bring to the compressor to create a movie. (This is to combine several videos into iMovie, that I'm not sure of).

Post back if you have further questions on this.

  • Troubled video export - CC animate Adobe and Adobe Media Encoder

After you have created a simple animation in Adobe animate CC, I want to export to a video file. Given that the export will result in one. MOV file, it requires Quicktime.

But I get messages from the CC animate and Adobe Media Encoder that the file is unusable, see attached screenshots.

    export_movie_error_Media_Encoder.PNG

    export_movie_error_dialogue_box_after_export_Animate_CC.PNG

    output_warning_export_movie_Animate_CC.PNG

Is it because that I Don t have Quicktime installed on my computer?

And one more question: as Microsoft announced that Quicktime player is a risk to security, how can we, who uses a Windows platform, use CC animate it s potential, if Quicktime is required as support software?

Is it perhaps other ways to convert your animation animate CC for a MP4 or other formats, to breast to animate it CC?

What other software do I need to convert a video animation file?

    Hardware and software:

    HP laptop

    Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise

    Intel Core i7 - 4800MQ CPU 2.70 Ghz

    16 GB memory

How works the video export is incredible. It can control how the code real time based animations are rendered. It is not surprising that he needs QuickTime to render so well. I think that for now you don't have a choice but to install QuickTime.

The latest QuickTime Player may have security problems may relate more to XP users. The issue in the news was reported in November and January, Apple released version 7.7.9, to deal with the issues who read as they are the same ones. But this version is not compatible with XP.

As you are on Windows 7, you can install the 7.7.9 version and be pretty up to date with security patches. If new questions rise, and suppose that Apple do not release a patch, make sure just that QuickTime is not configured to be Media Player by default and not go search the web looking for examples of QuickTIme sequences that are on questionable web sites.

In your Animate/video workflow, you have no reason to open QuickTime Player itself, or to be sequences QuickTime viewing in a browser, so I'm sure that you'll be safe.

Another tip, the default export quality is average. If you put this line of code in the first frame of the timeline:

    internship. Quality = "best";

the video quality will be much better. In addition, putting bitmaps to be lossless and allow smoothing. Even if the SWF from the scene becomes too demanding play, the exported video will be perfect.

  • Poor video quality on DVD created by still

I use Premiere Pro CS6 for editing of video clips in 1280 x 720. I linked the first sequences to still and created the DVD in Encore. I did not flow sequences Media Encoder first but, rather, leave everything still manage transcoding and compression.

The first video is superb. The video during preview in Encore looks great. But the quality of the video when it is burned on a DVD is ugly. I think that video on the DVD is only standard definition, but the text is still blurry and images are picky and serrated, more than I expected. Is there something else I should do first or to ensure a higher quality DVD?

    Thank you

    Dan

In case someone else has the same problem and is reading this post, I'll post my solution:

I tried pretty much all possible combinations. One that works the best for me was to export the first sequences in Media Encoder format MPEG-2 DVD, and with default values for NTSC progressive screen wide high quality.

However, what struck me most surprised is that, although the video was not good on my computer, it seemed still quite poor light with my DVD on my HD TV.   However, my equipment (TV and DVD) is about 9 years old.  When I played the DVD on DVD player for my daughter and the HDTV, which they bought last year alone, I've seen a dramatic improvement in quality.  Same DVD, just different equipment. Apparently, on older equipment, algorithms that upscale the SD video on a DVD to play on a HDTV are not as good as they are on the latest equipment. At least that's my opinion on the matter.

So, if you are having quality issues with your DVD try my settings and don't forget to play on newer equipment.

  • First batch export

Is it possible to do an export batch in first? Or is there another solution?  I am preparing several short videos for youtube, and I want my computer to process several projects from one day to the next, rather than wait around my computer to render.

I downloaded the trial version of CC, and it is not obvious to me, if it's easy or possible.  A forum commented that the latest version of first batch export, but I just downloaded recently and it seems to be an older version of first or it is missing.

I prefer to buy first and FCPX with compressor, but I need help answering this question.

    Thank you
    Matt

There are therefore two distinct functions at play here:

    1. Export batch:

      1. in CS6.0, Adobe Media Encoder [SOUL] added support for drag / drop several sequences in the project of the body panel to the SOUL queue or a browser of presets.
      2. The workflow that has been explained by James, using the file > export > media path has been added to CC7.1. Besides allowing you to launch export agency, it also added the ability to export batch and footage clips.
    2. Batch encoding.
When you export from first, the export settings dialog box has two buttons to proceed: export (which encodes 'in progress' using Premiere Pro. When encoding in this way, you can process only one job at a time, and you cannot continue to work on the front end of the encoding) and the queue (which sends the job to the SOUL).
SOUL supports batch encoding in two dimensions:

      1. You can register several export jobs. SOUL will treat each of them in turn, one job at a time.
      2. You can configure the outputs multiple for a single task (or 'source'), which is convenient if you are going to distribute your video for viewing on various devices. SOUL must then be able to encode all the outputs for a given job at some point (with a few exceptions where parallel encoding introduced problems...)

So even if you use CS6, you can queue several work in SOUL to deal with from one day to the next.

  • How can I copy video to a DVD on my hard drive in Windows XP?

Original title: not a wiz here pc... How can I copy video to a DVD on my hard drive... I have windows XP?
need help please... thank you in advance.

If the DVD is "not" a commercial copy protected DVD...
the following steps may be worth a try:

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
is located in, and then select Explore or open to view the
    Directory of the DVD.

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive. Or you can copy the
    full VIDEO_TS folder.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG or. AVI and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
Re - import new video from .wmv to for editing.
(Note: in Windows 7 you may be able to import the)
VOB files in Movie Maker just as they are)

(FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
    file to edit)

If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
another .wmv format would be a good choice.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup260.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • In Movie Maker 6.0 can a video clip (with mute) be spliced in another video clip so it seems to work with the original sound of the first video?

Hi, I put a video together for my MOM to 70th and one of her friends has provided a video clip of her playing a classical piece on the piano for several minutes.  I would like to cover this clip with other video sequences (landscapes, etc.) whereas the way piano since the main video track in the background.
I tried to let fall the piano video file directly in the audio editing panel and then cut a second 20 segment in the video editing and insert a 20 second video (mute) images of landscape. However, the piano audio from the first video stops as soon as the strike chronology inserted piece landscape and picks up again when it ends, even if the audio scenario shows the audio piano continuously?  Am I missing a step or is this not possible?   Thank you very much.

It should work quite as much as you described in Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (WMM 6.0), then maybe there is a step that is missed.  Let me describe how I could do and see if there's something you overlooked.

First of all, I assume that you have already imported the clip of piano and your other clips of landscape in your collection then you can drag the there where necessary.  First, drag the piano music to the track Audio / Music in the timeline panel.  Note that if you have your video extended timeline, it will show video, Transition & Audio, but you want to get off- below that, to the Audio / Music , to follow.  At this point if you play your 'film', you should not to see any picture but just to hear the sound of the piano.  You should also only see a waveform on the audio / music.

Now you can put anything you want on the video track.  Let's start by putting another copy of the original video of piano, but this time on the video track.  If you have developed the video track (to see the Vidéo/Audio/Transition) you will see the video piano and its associated audio waveform.  However, in your case, since you already have the audio separated, you want to cut that his partner.  Right-click on the Audio (attached to the video) track and select Muteor use the menus (Clip > Audio > Mute).

When you preview the project, you have synchronized video browsing with the original copy of the audio piano.  At the point in the video where you want to replace the video with another piano play, making a split (key M).  Make another split at the end of the section.  It is very import that select you the video track when you add new divisions and you have not also be divide the track Audio / Music .

Important: You want to make sure this divide the part that has the exact duration as well as landscape images, you want to replace.  So if you have 20 seconds to add, you divide 20 seconds piano images.

Right-click on the part of piano footage (video track) and choose Remove.  Then, insert the part of sequences of landscape (also on the video track) in its place.  Once again, you will have need put this added sequence muted landscape (Clip > Audio > Mute).

You should now see and hear the piano play.  Without any change in the audio playback in the preview window should implement the landscape images, then returns to piano images.

If you find that your project is not behaving correctly after these splits, but are you sure that you have followed these steps, it could be a problem with your video file types.  If in doubt, try to convert all your videos to .wmv format using something like Freemake Video Converter (freemake.com)

In any case, I hope that you are able to achieve, because it is certainly possible.  Good luck and post back with further questions or information, you can have.

Find the VIDEO_TS folder and open it... video
