• Thunderbird showing 63 unread messages, when there is none

  In the Inbox, it contains 63 unread messages. I checked manually and there is not. I also hit the button to mark all messages as read, and it shows that 63 messages are read. This has happened on my old computer and followed through a new.

  I suggest you also check reviews | Records is set to "All".

  And your quickfilter settings are all off or erase.

  Where is the button to mark all as read? If this happened through an add-on? I don't think that it is a standard feature of Thunderbird.

  For a week now, my flashlight has the icon in the corner superior bar that evil shows how many unread messages I. I read all my messages and it me it shows still not read.

  Sehale u put me on something:
  Message > menu > Search by > advanced and under the drop down menu to the SHOW, I chose not "open only".

  BINGO, there's the elusive message. I deleted and my icon disappeared. Everything is good.

There are now hundreds of incoming Gmail e-mail mailbox that I downloaded into my computer daily use which is now back to the store so that I can keep all my mail (incoming and facts) in Tbird who keeps track of my correspondents by filtering their incoming mail.

  When using Tbird on my computer everyday for the first time since his return from the store, Tbird have NOT downloaded one of the old unread messages in your Gmail inbox; He's only got those yesterday! This is why I don't have running conversations to my correspondents. Maybe that's a problem of date?

  I hope that there are workaround for duty to pass on all that is still in the Gmail inbox; but this option would eliminate the address of the original sender. There are 251 emails dating from June 26 - Aug 20, 2015 I want Tbird download so that it can filter the correctly.

  I, to the earlier today, was able to collect Gmail messages and put them in the Tbird.

• Can I create a folder in the tree diagram that shows only unread messages?

  Currently, I put rules in place to filter messages in several different folders. But I want to be able to read all new messages in the order they are received, regardless of who they are or this folder they have been filtered in. That's why I want a folder to show only unread messages. After that I read them, I don't want to appear in the file not read more.

  I already used this "Unread mail" feature in Microsoft Outlook (to the old job), my new job is using Thunderbird and I would still like to access functionality, if possible in Thunderbird.

• I move all messages in the Inbox with a ruler, but inbox is always marked (blue) as containing unread messages.

  I have several e-mail accounts on servers external that I feed to a local folder "Incoming" with a rule for everyone, "Move incoming message to the local folder". It works to my satisfaction, emties server Inbox and keeps everything on the spot.

  The "Inbox" of a server is marked "BOLD" blue as if it contains unread messages, but it is empty. If I open the empty Inbox, unread indication goes away.

  This server is POP, others are IMAP.

  Delete the message

• Why "Bulk Mail" foder not shows not the number of unread messages unless I click on the folder (via IMAP Yahoo mail)?

  'Spam' of the Yahoo e-mail account folder (as seen through the web interface 'Yahoo mail') is displayed in Thunderbird as 'Bulk Mail' (IMAP). Looking at the account in Thunderbird foders, I see the number of unread messages in each folder. "Bulk Mail" always seems to be empty. If I click on the "Bulk Mail" folder, then magically messages appear in the message list and the number of unread messages is displayed next to the name of the folder, as in all other folders for this account.

  Why I need to touch the "Bulk Mail" folder to see the number of messages inside?

  Yahoo deletes the messages in this folder during certain periods. I'm in danger of losing messages unless I remember to touch all of the mail files in bulk from my account Yahoo in Thunderbird.

  I do not use IMAP in Thunderbird, so I can't provide instructions step by step, however, other e-mail programs have settings synchronize each individual file on a calendar or using push IMAP (vs when you click it) or not. If Thunderbird has these parameters, I would expect that they appear in the properties of the folder or the account settings. This might be useful, but I don't know if you already have a few dig like that or not.

  It might be a good starting point because it does not mention connections to IMAP folder, but the folder properties could still be somewhere easier to read first, just in case. To do this, the site lists this:

  However, I think that you could right-click on the "Bulk Mail" folder and click Properties on the shortcut menu.

  right click on the folder, select Properties, and then on the button repair. Repeat the quick filter and see if anything changes.

  Do a forced reboot - after all open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.

  Firefox is not a provider of e-mail, the web browser that displays your email if you wish.

  Who is your email provider? You'll have better luck looking at support for your provider documentation. Most e-mail clients have an option to show only unread messages, you'll probably be lucky.

  Running cinnamon Skype 4.3 on Linux Mint 17 (64-bit). All notification options enabled for incoming messages (sound, pop up).

  Waiting: When a contact sends a message in the chat window is not put at the point, the window will blink in the taskbar, a notification appears in the system tray, the unread message indicator will appear on the Skype icon and will play a short sound.

  Reality: The Message is received, no flashing or unread message indicator will appear. Notification and the sound works fine.

  Which makes it very difficult to realize that I have a new message if I'm not away from the computer for a bit and is ruining my Skype experience even more.
